First off, give it a few days of constant use as this speaker needs to break in. Right out of the gate the sound was clear, crisp, and wonderful! I replaced an undersized Bose center channel (junk as it turns out) with this masterpiece! I have it hooked up to an older Yamaha vx 675 in conjunction with multiple other Klipsch Reference series speakers. Let me just say HECK YES! This speaker doesn't take up all that much space, has incredibly immersive sound, and when you find it on sale... FAR exceeds the expectations at its price point! I held off on buying this for way too long. Don't make the same mistake I did and you won't be disappointed!

This is a great center channel. I like that it is shallow and the porting is on the front allowing it to be put close to a wall. I'll say that I think the price is a little high considering there are Reference Premier models that are in the same price point. I know some say to stay away from reference, and step up to the premier, but I have done a few side by side comparisons between them, an in my opinion, they have a different sound, but not necessarily better. At least not that I can notice.

I had a Klipsch center speaker before from a 5.1 set. it was a good speaker but this speaker is better. not by leaps and bounds but better. the highs are crisper and the lows are deeper. spoken words sound better more defined and standout better. its not the best speaker they make but it is good if you don't want to spend a crazy amount of money. I bet unless you spend over $800 on Klipsch speakers you probably won't get much better than these a little better but not a huge difference.

Great Klipsch speaker. Got this as an upgrade from a previous version I had. The old one wasn't as wide and was taller, and this fit the bill for what I wanted. Wider and shorter so it could more easily fit on the mantle under my TV. Love this thing. Clear audio, etc. I have a good Denon receiver paired with it, that is key.

This center channel was the final piece to my surround sound system and I couldn’t be happier. It replaced an older smaller speaker. I am very happy with the improved sound. Before dialogue in movies was sometimes too soft. Now it is a perfect balance with the rest of my Reference speakers. It’s bigger but still small enough to have in front of the TV.

My wife did not want the typical center speaker made by Klipsch and wanted something that was a bit shorter. My other speakers were Klipsch speakers and this was an excellent choice. The sound is fantastic and goes well with my other Klipsch speakers. I would highly recommend this with great sound coming from a shorter package. It was also easily mounted on the wall below my TV mounted that is also mounted on the wall above our fireplace.

Got this to match my other Klipsch speakers. Sounds better than my old Bose speaker. More crisp and deeper bass. Some frquencies sound a bit hollow but it may be the location; in a tight fit fireplace center nook. Powered by Denon AVRX3500H receiver.

I picked this up as an open box item when I was replacing my entire TV and sound setup. It is a very good looking speaker, and has the profile more of sound bar, so it looks nice above or below a TV. I have it placed on my entertainment center, but it also has keyhole slots for wall mounting. The speaker does its job, but it only goes down to 82 Hz. I had a chat with SVS and they recommend setting the crossover on your AVR to 100 Hz. If I had to di it again I would get the Klipsch RP-400C, which is from their higher Reference Premier line of speakers. The RP-400C is a little taller and not as wide, and goes higher and lower with a range of 65-25,000 Hz. The RP-400C is also less expensive.

Sony Dh790 5.2.2 in a 15x20 Room under a 150" screen. I like this little speaker but not for $500. Ended up going with the RP504-C instead. The RP504-C matches PERFECTLY with the R820F's. Its a night and day difference with the Sony Core. It's more efficient than Sony. Has better dialogue SQL. The bass hits tighter too. And it's 8ohms! It's not night and day with the RP504-C. Both fill the room nicely with dialogue but the 504 is a little more punchy but WAY better tweeter or crossover. DON'T let others hype you that the 504 bass gapped this R34 and that its SO AMAZING. The 504 bass difference is barely noticeable in movies. Deep bass sounds like trash with music on the 504. YOU SHOULD BE setting the center to SMALL and crossover at 80hz. MAKE your subs or towers carry the bass load. Protect your center speaker from distortion! Main reason for return was the R34 compared to the Rp504 did not match the R820F's. Otherwise I mightve kept it. I liked that the ports were in the front and that it was slim. Dialogue filled my large room @8ohms. I previously had the Sony cores in 7.2.2. I've tried Polk also. Now I have (2) R820F, (1) RP504 C, (4) R51m. Way better SQL. I'm now a Klipsch fan.

The sound is surprising crisp and clear. It fits perfectly in the space beneath my television. The two reasons that I chose this speaker is because of the Klipsch reputation and the size of the cabinet since I did not have room for a taller speaker. I was surprised by how good this speaker reproduced sound. Now I can actually clearly hear the dialog of movies and television.

I purchased a Receiver from a friend so that I could have stereo sound coming from my TV. These speakers are clear and very crisp. Actually more volume than I need, but I still crank it up! As a result of this purchase, I went back and purchased the matching bookshelf speakers for front and rear sound, along with the subwoofer. My system is complete and is well worth the cost. It didn't hurt that all of the speakers were on sale at the time I purchased them.

This center channel is amazing. The crisp clear powerful sound is delightful. Klipsch really nailed this one. I had Bestbuy install my Klipsch system and I could not be happier. This is a larger than normal center channel. Make sure you measure before purchasing. I actually had to place mine behind my TV cause its that tall! Still sounds amazing though.
