Received Samsung HW-H550 as a present. Decent for the price. Focuses more on features than sound quality. Debated many options. I read every review for every option on this site, narrowed down to a handful, then cross referenced them on other sites. Traded it in and I am currently using the Klipsch R-20B and absolutely love it. 10" Subwoofer has warm bass with decent punch when needed (adjustable woofer). Put the woofer in the corner with speaker side facing wall as indicated in manual. Sound bar has a total of six speakers (2 more than R-10B, which only has 8" woofer). The highs are so clean and crisp! And of course I connected my iPhone via Bluetooth (which delivers better bandwidth and louder than optical connection) and cranked the dub-step UP, no distortion! I don't care for the 3-D sound though. It creates an interesting wider feel, but the EQ squashes the midrange in an awkward way. If you want surround, don't shop for a sound bar and buy a.true surround system. My room/ furniture set up is not conducive for surround. If you want to spend over a grand, get Yamaha, their processing is impeccable. If you want to spend no more than 600, get the R-10B, the power is the same. For me, the $800 R-20B proved to be my sweet spot. And it's easy to program any remote to operate it.

I was looking for an option to simplify audio components, remove wires and enhance TV sound in living room. I finally decided on Klipsch R-20B sound bar, wireless subwoofer system. As a result, removed receiver, floor standing speakers and wires. Now I have near invisible great sounding system if my living room. Great sound using optical audio cable from TV, use analogue cable to iPOD for music library, option to stream music via bluetooth from any BT capable device. TWO very important additional benefits, 1) I can control volume through standard cable box remote AND 2) by using the optical audio source direct from the TV, voice is ALWAYS in sync with lips on the screen. NO MORE annoying delays. Did I mention great, room filling sound? Two weak point (not important to me). 1) Bluetooth sound is a little "harsh" when using iPAD 2 or smartphone bluetooth. Not sure if this is a problem with the system or the devices. Seems a little better when streaming from MacBook Pro where I can balance sound via equalizer in iTunes. The 2nd weakness is the 3D sound enhancer. Disappointing. Don't expect simulated surround sound from this system. HOWEVER, watching movies from either cable box or Apple TV sounds great with full tone, volume and great dynamic range even without the 3D enhancement.

Has very good sound , crisp high and with the 10" wireless sub well its like I have my sound system from my truck which isnt stock in my house.the music is better, the movies well the theater isn't necessary. You can Bluetooth from tour phone, DVD player computer. As the old saying goes "you pay for what you get" you can get a 8" sub but you'd be wishing you had the 10" . It's worth the difference in payment. Enjoy.

Although I cannot use it to its full potential because of where I live, this system is absolutely amazing! The other reviewers are correct that it does come with a cheap remote and there is no way of telling exactly what input you are using, with the exception of the 3D and Bluetooth modes. This system sounds incredible and well worth the money I spent. It has great highs and lows. The subwoofer sounds great with the bass it produces.

Got it on sale at Best Buy - good value for the money: the original TV speakers on my Samsung produced a very poor quality sound so decided to get an external speaker. While more expensive than most of samsung and sony similar speaker bars, KLIPSCH outperforms those by a large margin.

The sound is fantastic. Easy to setup and pair with devices. The remote has a limited range and does not work well if off to the side of the sound-bar. The Bluetooth is bad, plain and simple. The range is less than 10 feet before it breaks up. Not a deal breaker but if I had paid full retail I would have considered sending it back. For the price I paid though it was a bargain.

Excellent sound bar and a nice up grade to my older one for about the same price when on sale. Very crisp highs, which I like, and decent bass. I wish the bass and treble were adjustable. As other people have complained, the BT distance is an issue but I just place my phone near the bar. Perfect for my bedroom.

I bought this at a great price in Best Buy. It is my second Klipsch sound bar for a big screen TV. The set up is incredibly easy and the sound is amazingly full and rich. I like getting full great sound without having speakers all around the house.

Been waiting for this to come out with bluetooth and it was worth it. Great movie sound and great music sound quality streaming from the Internet.

Well it's a klipsh let's start with that the sound is amazing the lows off the chain with the powered 10" sub the only thing i didn't like is the mode set up you actually have to read the manual to find out what mode your in it don't display the mode it's a blue green and purple leds I think that tell you what mode your in and the microscopic remote that I have lost like 20x since I made my purchase but I end up finding it so I'm happy other than those problems it's perfect for me with vaulted ceiling it was a pain trying to find a sound bar that will fill the room without losing the sound if that makes any sense but it would all go upstairs lol not with this one so far I love it no regrets!!!

This thing rocks! Great sound and the bass kicks butt! I only have one complaint and it's a small one, thus the 5 star rating. 1, The remote seems to only operate over a short distance. Other than that this thing is great.

Our 70 inch TV had flat sound but when connected to this soundbar, wow, TV came to life. The bar was easy to set up and it works automatic when TV is turned on. The pronounced bass created a theater like experience.

Klipsch R-20B is my entry into the world of TV-based sound, as I was never sure about soundbars. I can only say that I will have to watch all my favorite movies again, as I must have missed the sound I should have experienced while watching them in the first place. Klipsch R-20B has brought my TV watching experience to life with its amazing clear sound quality, excellent highs through the sound bar and deep lows from the sub. Very easy to setup and looks great in the room. Great going Klipsch!

I love this product as we had the older version but this reference model has bluetooth which is an upgrade. Sound is crisp and bass sounds good.

I have never owned extra speakers for my TV but decided when the price was right to buy. I am so glad I did it was simple to hook up and instantly the sound filled the room. I didn't know what I was missing until I got these I would recommend this style for everyone. Also hooked up to my phone Bluetooth and play all my music don't need to buy a separate stereo now.

i never had a doubt that this would have been good , it exceeded my expectations for the sale price of 299 its a great system very full sound i have the soundbar behind the tv as it is too high and blocks my tv IR window and i cant turn the tv on and off. it sounds just as good in the back as the front and i have a cleaner look on my console as well. for 799 i would not buy it , but for 299 it was a great deal
