Proud to say I did it myself. I love that i can make sure its locked thru my app, i love that i can unlock the door if needed from where i am. Only negative is it gets jammed sometimes if the kids dont pull it closed enough so everything lines up correctly and then i cant do anything unless im home.

The gentleman i spome to at kwickset set up a profile and shipped the part all within 5 minutes. Cant say enough about the prompt service.

Since they don' make that device anymore I decided to updated to the new generation lock and couldn't be more pleased.

To ensure your Halo is working well with the Kwikiset app, please try the steps below:
1. Perform a factory reset on the lock: https://www.kwikset.com/support/answers/how-do-i-reset-the-halo-touch-smart-lock-back-to-factory-settings
2. Remove the lock from your phone's Bluetooth list of connected devices.
3. Delete the lock from the Kwikset app if previously paired.
4. Force close the Kwikset app and relaunch. Add the lock to the Kwikset app: https://s7d2.scene7.com/is/content/Kwikset/Aura/App%20Tutorials/AddingYourFirstLock.pdf
