It's a no brainer to install, It practically does it itself. It charges fast and it last a long time. The only thing that I didn't like was that its very bulky and heavy. It's doesn't allow the laptop to lay flat it lays on an angle which it's probably better because its less stress on the wrists. Also it makes my laptop feel very heavy. But aside from that its worth every penny.

It took a full week for the battery to arrive. The picture doesn't show how big it is - now the back of the laptop is tilted up an inch higher than the front. This is a bulky machine anyway - HP Pavillion dv6. Now it's even bigger.

size - they way it's made makes it protrude from the bottom of the laptop so that it doesn't sit flat and also takes up more room in the travel bag

Purchased this product for replacing my HP laptop battery. It is the cheapest among the generic HP batteries that I searched on internet.

Ordered this to replace the battery for my HP pavilion dv5 and it is not compatible.

So far so good .... Bought the battery after reading solid reviews .... So far our family is very pleased with the performance and life of the battery

This was a replacement battery. It holds it's charge the same as the original battery did.

The battery has a lot more reserve than the original.

Working great so far, been using it for about a week replacing the old battery that wouldn't hold a charge anymore.

The listing for this battery used only the first two characters for the computer it fits. As it turned out, when I got the battery it had additional information which excluded my laptop. Fortunately, the local store was good about issuing a refund with no questions asked and since Best Buy does not carry one for my computer, they pointed me to a local retail store that did have it in stock.

I am very pleased with this replacement battery for my HP Pavillion Entertainment DV6 Laptop. It is a perfect match. It is actually sleeker and lighter weight than the original HP battery. I only get about 2 to 3 hours when playing games but for basic email or typing letters on Word, I can get as much as 5 hours. Recharges quickly too!

This unit replaced my original HP battery which was never any good. The typical charge on the original HP battery lasted for 2 hours. I am looking forward to get double the usage time with this HP1020B. The battery was delivered in short order from the date of purchase on 6/19/2012. It was received at my home on 6/22/2012 with standard UPS delivery.

My original battery was not holding a charge. I was unable to use it without it being plugged in. I could not find the correct battery locally but found one at Best Buy online.
