After much research, we went with two of these fans to circulate the air from a window a/c unit into our bedroom and kitchen. The fan is very powerful and it moves air around as needed. We are very satisfied with the purchase and shipping from Best Buy was very fast for us even in Honolulu. The small negatives of the fan are (1) the air moving out of the tower unit actually makes some noise (not too bad though) (2) it has a stupid led nightlight around the power button that lights up a dark room (we have to cover it with a sock at night) (3) the oscillation is only about 30 degrees total (ideally, i was hoping for at least 45 degrees maybe even more). It doesn't have an ionizer which is a plus, because ionizers can actually pollute your home with ozone. I know, ironic right, sorta like diet soda causing weight gain. Anyways, we recommend it over the current alternatives if you want a tower fan that actually pushes air around your house/apartment.

This fan is wonderful and strong. Worth every penny. Remote control for added convenience. The only thing I would change (if I had to nitpick) is that I would make the base a little taller because I had to put the fan on top of a 4 inch stand so it can reach my bed. Otherwise, I love this fan!

This is the best fan I've ever owed!!! I use to be a Walmart junkie!! I bought everything from there no matter what.But this summer one of our fans broke and I needed a replacement..so I decided to try best buy..I read the reviews and chose the blower fan and boy what a difference a quality fan make .. you can feel the air from across the room !! Yes I give it 5 Stars and No I don't buy everything from Walmart anymore!!

This fan which I call a Texas tornado, after a reviewer, is very powerful, maybe too much. The lowest setting is strong and loud. I never turned it beyond low. I did cool my living room down (10x20 feet). But you couldn't hear anything else. And now, after a year, it doesn't oscillate, and maybe smells like burning, so we won't be using it any more. Next year, I'll just get one of those cheap 16" stand fans that i consider disposable.

It is a great product. It produces just the right amount of air speed needed!

This fan, on high setting, will blow paper plates of food off of the table. Although it does not have a remote, it is easy enough to turn on and off, and set to oscillate, with the switches located on the top of the fan. It is a good fan that I hope will last for years to come.

Lasko fan would have gotten a five if not for the loudness of the fan. Even on level one the fan is loud. But the fan produces a cold strong gust easy to control and program with its remote. Comes down to noise or cold air regardless a good fan.

Great powerful fan and upgrade from the 4924! Slightly taller, built in timer coupled with a remote control for a few dollars more! Way to go Lasko!

I have used this product before which needed to be replaced after several years. I use this outside on the patio and it holds up very well to the environment

I bought the taller newer version with the remote control first. My mistake! This one is much better! The airflow seems more powerful and the air vents are located centrally on the unit.

This is a great fan and it keeps my room cool enough. The price was affordable comparing to other stores that sell them.

It really is a great fan like the other reviews say it is, bu the only part I disagree with is about it being a loud fan, when i had first bought it and turned it on i was originally in agreement, but that’s because I didn’t know i had it on 3, set it on 1, and it was pretty quiet, but above all else, I really do love it, might have to look into buying another one.

Fan is worth every penny! It’s a bit loud but I’ll take it if it means cooking my room off.
