    Leap for Computer

Leap is a great idea, The issue is that you can only use it for certain applications which need an app. While apps are being added it may take a while to get to do what you want. Also the mouse is a little more comfortable since you can rest your arm on a surface while using. Would maybe recommend after more apps are added...

A very fun device but some of the apps can be a bit challenging to maneuver around. Overall, very cool and I recommend it.

This is an early development unique input device. Its a novelty and a conversation piece. Not quite ready for daily use.

    Wow new Hands free device

Bought a new HP laptop and noticed that they offered it built right into the lap top, but I am more of a hands on buyer, so at Best Buy they had a very simular Model Envey, bought it and a week later the leap motion, hooked it up pretty easy to load it onto the apps and started using it, It works good and ever so often does glitch, but it is just a matter of moving your hand in and out of the pick up screen. Had friends try it and is pretty cool using google earth, a free app, flying over at low levels. The sculting app is easy to use and fun to shape. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to use the controller mode for using pictures as it seem's sensitive, but for the money is a great add on!

I had hoped it could replace the lack of touch on an iMac, but the software is feeble and confuses easily. It barely works for the purpose, even after some practice. It is kind of impressive in front of the uninitiated, though, to drive the machine with gestures.

I was hoping to use this to help bridge the gap for my workhorse of a desktop to Windows 8 by providing the functionality of a touch screen but through gestures. I haven't been able to find anything in the Airspace store that brings the Leap to that level. At least not yet. The tool is fascinating and an interesting diversion though and the Leap has a great deal of potential.

On the applications that I was able to use it was very cool and worked perfectly. I couldn't get it to sync with anything besides the products it came with or were a direct download for the product. I wanted it to work on just my normal desktop (which is one of the features it talks about). I wasn't able to get it to do that, so I returned it. I wasn't sure if it was the product or my computer. When I upgrade/get a new computer I will look at getting another one.

Not very intuitive or easy to use. Motions don't always register the way you would imagine. At times, you feel like you have to learn mirror writing.

The leap motion controller is great. It's exactly what the future of computer input devices are. While a great device, it was rather awkward to use. there isn't an operating system designed to work well with all the features the leap has to offer. that said, I enjoy what I am able to do with it so far. just don't like the virtual touch screen it dies, its way too jittery to work with. final rating: Like, goiid for techcnophiiles everywhere.

The idea of using hand gestures and movements to control your mouse is a great idea. However this product is still too early in it's infancy to really be useful at a high level. Perhaps when there is more support by software and app makers I will look at this again.

I've only had this for a month but so far I am disappointed in the performance of the controller. It should be as easy or easier than using the mouse or touchscreen but it needs some tweaking. I would hold off on making this purchase until the performance reviews are a little better. I will update my review when I believe Leap Motion has accomplished this.

The Leap Motition controller is a nifty little device that sees you hand movements in 3 axis. It can also differentiate between 10 fingers. The main issue is that they want you to buy "apps" though an appstore. Apps that should have been included , like programing macros for computer work is extra. This device is cool, but do not expect a magical transformation to an interface like Iron man movies, or Minority report.

This device was everything I expected it to be. Its so accurate, and it tracks my hands smoothly. I was using it the other day, and I was wondering why it wasn't working as well as it had been, and a message popped up and said "Smudge Detected, Please Clean Screen" sure enough, there was a smudge from my finger on the device. Now that's smart! I highly recommend anyone to get this! You will LOVE it!

The Leap Motion Controller is excellent, and comes with everything you would need in box. It's a great way to add a new dimension to how you interact with you computer. Very inexpensive for what it does, and the are adding new apps all the time, so it can only get better. Highly recommended.
