My 3 yr old boy loves his leap pad. It is a great gate way into making learning fun. There are a verity of different games suitable for every child. I would definitely recommend this to any parent. It also has kid music. It is a real jot to listen to my son sing along. Best gift ever Santa. :)

I got this for my great niece who lives in Florida. A friend recommended it to me. It was a great choice. She loved it. It's a great choice for a first technical item. She'll learn several items from it. I was assured it was also a safe item that a no-goodnik can't hack into and send her stuff that isn't a good thing. (how's that for tact).

First of all, I got a great price. Using Best Buys price match guarantee I got a great deal, but only the second time I went into the store. Besides being pink and having great girly games that she loves; Hello Kitty, Doc MacStuffins,it's also very educational. It's easy to set up, kid proof so far and even my son wants in on the fun. I'm bummed about the no WiFi and not being able to upload movies or MP3 (you must buy a Leap Frog app for each). It's a great tablet for my five year old.

We purchased the LeapPad2 to replace a similar competing unit that died after less than a year of use. My five-year-old (almost six) daughter is the only user of the product. The LeapPad2 has a good collection of games and videos available, and all of them seem to have decent educational value. My daughter finds it very easy to use the device, and she enjoys all of the games and videos that we have purchased so far. Of course, one could purchase a small tablet computer and load it with videos and apps. But the LeapPad is more sturdily built, so it's better for younger kids. And the LeapPad apps and videos are all educational, unlike the apps and games for other tablets. I have spent a lot of time looking for good games and apps for both of the major kinds of tablets, and it's often hard to determine what is good. The LeapPad makes it easier to find decent material that is age-appropriate.

I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 15 months and she loves it. She can easily operate it and provides her with the variety of activities she enjoys. Easily stands up when accidentally dropped any number of times.

This product is great my daughter absoloutely loves it. I love how it makes her learn new things and trace her alphabet. She likes how she can change her pet from a kitty to a monkey. I absolutely love how I don't have to buy another leaning tablet for her until sixth grade. The backgrounds are cute too. Leapster makes it affordable for us to give her a headstart in life instead of relying on the tv to shape her character.

I purchased this as a safe tablet for my two year old and he loves it. I was worried about having to purchase extra apps but Leapfrog always sends discount codes and has sales on the apps. My seven year old also loves to use it.

Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. She is 3 years old and she uses it like a pro.She really enjoys the challenging games and she is learning at the same time.Awesome!

It is a great buy for a child to learn. my middle child who is 2 is always on grown up tablets, with the leap pad he is able to enjoy all things he loves with out trying to purchase new apps. I love it . My three year old can use it in his own profile and play based on his own learning capabilities. Music, games, and videos can be purchased through cartridges and apps when connected to a laptop. With children as young as mine it's great to have control over what they use and play.

I have 3 of these and they are tough. Lots of choices to down load. My grand son is only 19 mo and he can find what he want to with ease .

I bought this for my daughter for her 5th Birthday and she loves it. I Love that it has rechargeable batteries. I will be buying a second green one for my son!

I bought this for my kindergarten daughter and she loves it!! She calls it her "ipad". It is easy enough for a kindergarten child to navi gate without any trouble. The rechargeable batteries are great as well. There is a decent selection of games usually starting at $18 for decent ones. Seems pretty durable as it has been dropped a few times without damage that I can see. Highly recommended!!

After breaking an iPad a got my daughter the sturdier leap pad. It has all of the games she likes & is built for a toddler.

Bought for special needs child. Perfect size and durable material good eye appeal appropriate download games for him. Helps him in coordination sensory skills loves it

My daughter loves the leap pad 2 its easy to use. The games teach her from letters to numbers to shapes to feelings. I even use it on my spare time just to know what she will be doing when she has it by herself. Again great learning tool !!!

I bought this for my 2.5 yr old grandson and he is able to navigate with the Leap Pad with ease. He has a couple of games on his parents Ipad and was a little too rough with the Ipad. Now, he has is own "IPad". He loves the games and the songs.

Bella is 3 and she knows how to work her leap pad2 independently.
