Grandpa bought her this one on a whim, the last pink one in the store. She previously had the Leapad 2 and unfortunately cracked the screen after having it for about 2 years of being well loved. I gave her my 1st generation IPad until she got the Leapad 3 a few months ago. She loves it! It does everything advertised, has a kid friendly/parent interface and is very durable so far. I only wish that it had games that could be downloaded for free or on a demo basis, like the IPad apps. There are only so many choices for the Leapad games versus an IPad tablet. I like the fact that you can go online on the Leapad itself, to order games without kids accidental purchases. The camera/video upgrade is a big winner and now she chases everyone around to take pictures and make movies.

The Leap pad 3 will keep your kids occupied on long trips, it's better than the old leap pads because you don't have to buy or recharge batteries. It's built in stylus is cool for kids to practice writing. Just beware with kids who like to bite. My 3 year old chewed off the soft tip of the stylus. So I wish I would have detached it before letting him take it it in his room .. Lol. But overall satisfied. The apps are great and teach little kids numbers, alphabet, etc. if your concerned about price, it pays for itself a hundred times over when you can drive in peace, or watch tv, or get a few minutes for yourself while your child is learning.

I bought this for my 3 year old as his big Christmas gift this year. He has been having a great time playing with it, using the included software...and we have now also bought a few of the cartridges. For the money, its a great buy and he looks forward to spending time with his Leap pad each day. The early age games are challenging enough for him, and I can see he is progressing with motor and educational skills. I'm sure he'll grow out of it within two years, buts its perfect for him right now. Unit is also very strurdy, and has taken a few light falls without damage.

I really like the leapfrog brand I've been buying their products for 12 years. And most recently my youngest son, 2, kept taking the leappad 2 away from his 5 year old brother. After 3 years of abuse the touchscreen stopped working, so I went out and bought 2 new leappad 3s. Both boys now enjoy there own leappad together. My youngest will plays with both leappads together because of the co-op play, while his brother is in school. Apparently he loves the new leappad. I would like the leappad to have more memory; I have purchased so many downloadable apps that I had to split up the apps downloaded to each device, but overall its a great buy.

My grandson is two and a rough little boy but the product seems to be holding up very well. It's easy for him to navigate and he's learning how to quickly use it. His favorite part so far is the art studio but he also loves his videos and movies.

I really like this device, it keeps my toddler busy. The only think I don't like is that it does not have a lot of memory. My little one enjoys using the camera so she uses up the memory very quickly.

I bought this for my child in pre-k and she loves it! The only thing is I wish the games were cheaper. Besides cost of games I enjoy this item. My child likes the interactive games and she really does learn from the games (not to mention the games are cartoon characters from the learning tv shows she watches.

My son damaged his Leappad2 and there were none in the store to replace it so I had to upgrade to Leappad3 and it is really nice, I love the soft tipped stylus, his previous unit was damaged from the hard tipped stylus. The only problem is now my daughter is upset because she still has the leappad2 and can't interact with her brother's and can't use wifi.

This is a great buy that provides great fun all while combining learning. It is great to take along on road trips as it provides endless activities for the little ones. My son never wants to put it down. Leapfrog has been trusted with all of my children and still remains true.

My 4 year old daughter had the leappad 2 and I purchased the leappad 3 for the main reason that it has a rechargeable battery inside. No more AA batteries! :-) The leappad 3 is lighter in weight, and has more features. Very nice tablet for young kids.

I bought 2 of these for my twin 3 year olds, they absolutely love them, take them everywhere. The games and apps are a bit pricey but they enjoy playing the games that come on the device.
