I bought this item for my one year old grandchild. He loved the tunes and was able to turn it on and change the functions himself. It has educational value -songs about animals, the alphabet, it has lively music with a beat to stimulate dance and movement, and it has soft music to quiet and calm. It was definitely one of his favorite birthday gifts.

I picked this up from the clearance aisle because my toddler pointed it out to me and seemed interested in it. So we picked it up and immediately my toddler was hooked. This toy has several musical options, as well as many different buttons/activities to keep them entertained over and over again.

The LeapFrog Learn & Groove Music Player is a fun toy for children under 5 years with a great battery life. It teaches numbers and alphabets in a sing along way. Also, a very affordable, budget friendly item (gift) for any little child.

I think it is very helpful for toddlers 18 months to 3 years old because it teaches them abc's, 1,2,3's, shapes, & animals in a musical way. Most toddlers love music so my niece who is 18 months loves it!

Ok tis s actually a cool product for me n my hubby. We keep tis in the car, and every time when we put our one yr old in the car seat I used to give tis in his hand. He gets super excited and starts pressing the button, which makes it easier for us to put his seatbelts. In shoe it's our boys travel companion and a life saver for me, because he doesn't disturb me.

I play with this more than my kid. Can I get a hoot hoot? Better than Nintendo. Its got a sleeping mode for relaxing, and a playful mode for dancing

Fun alternative to playing with an adult's music player, but pretty limited in what it can do.

I like it, it leap frog, can't go too wrong. I like the different modes and how learning is incorporated into the fun.

Now that I own one of these I wouldn't buy it again. It was entertaining for a couple hours but after that just got tossed in the toy box and it rarely gets pulled back out.

We purchased this item for my 2 1/2 year old. He immediately latched on the songs is now almost able to sing his ABCs from this toy. The songs and animation really get him going and he imitates them often. Because it is so small, he takes it with him everywhere and it's great for road trips. I'm not a fan of the black and white pixel screen but it's Leapfrog and they know how to build games for kids. Bottom line: it does what it is designed for...teaches kids in a fun and entertaining way through music.
