Windows 10 for price of Chromebook​. Just need to be smart about storage space. 32 gigs used to be a lot. Using cloud or network wifi drive takes care of that. Clean up windows after windows update after all update s gets 10 gigs back. No DVD but has USB for external if drive if needed. Software recovery is easy so if you store data off of laptop you can restore it at will to a brand new state. I've done this three times. I did not like the way I set it up trying to get used to windows 10. 14 inch screen is good. But it is small resulution wise 720p equivalent. So some web pages you need to scroll more. Watching Netflixs is ok. Speakers are quite. Head phone jack is available. Great for email. Facebook and even YouTube. Just need to be patient only do one thing at a time. Battery life is 10 hours with the right settings so you can surf all day charge at night. You can not increase system memory it is built in to the motherboard. The storage space can upgraded with m.2 hard drive. Not sure if Lenovo will void my warranty but it can be done if you what to but more money into the laptop. You can always move it to you new one of you still have low read write time on it. It also has micro SD so if you just want quick and easy storage that is out of sight once it is pushed in. I recommend Microsoft mouse vs Logitech less drivers to load . Fun little toy. The 360 office trial is great but if you all ready have 360 you can contact Microsoft. They extended the time of my contract to compensate. Very happy overall. As long as you have a realistic expectation for this laptop you will not be disappointed.

This is a great computer if you only need something for surfing the web, or a laptop on the go. I use mine for writing, and it has been great. It is lightweight and cheap enough to where it wouldn't be a catastrophe if something happened to it. However, you HAVE to use this computer with an external hard drive. It has 32 GB of space (smaller than a phone or tablet in some cases), and that storage goes fast. I downloaded my writing software directly onto the computer hard drive, and it has used up half of the space. I will not download anything else onto it because I do not want the speed to decrease to zero. Anyway, great for surfing the web, basic use, or in my case, specific writing needs.

I set up the computer yesterday, for someone who is not very computer literate. I was very impressed that it didn't have anything unnecessary I can remember that had to be removed "to clean it up". I used it yesterday to surf the web and watch several programs on Netflix. I had to add the Opera browser program for Netflix to work fluidly, but that has been the case on every computer I've purchased in the last couple of years. For the price we paid, you can't beat it for the quality of this computer. Please note, it has a solid-state hard drive listed at 32gb, so if you plan to add a lot to the computer, you will need a micro memory card. or a flash/thumb drive. My partner used the computer for the first time last night and considering how little experience he has with computers, he did quite well, so that says a lot for the machine. Conclusion, if you are looking for a great starter laptop for someone or travel a lot and you want a laptop that is lightweight with what appears to be excellent battery life and does everything you might need to do, this is definitely worth it!

My daughter needed a PC for high school. She loves this Lenovo. It is lightweight and fits great in her backpack! It is reliable and works great.

Bought this on clearance sale. I was looking for a medium sized laptop that had great battery life. I ran it all day on battery and still had 40% life left. Speed isn't bad. Screen is not bright enough to use outside but is fine for general office use. Would be nice to have more storage but main use for me is writing and creating PowerPoint presentations at work and on the go.

This device is great to "play around with". It is light, thin with a sleek appearance. Easy to set up & user friendly.I wouldnt try & use it in a "heavy capacity" but for internet, e-mails, watching movies or music it's great. The only negative I have found is with how it changes the font size. This seems to happen without trying to do, then changing it back is VERY difficult. I think I made a great purchase.

I use this machine for MS Office and internet research. The battery is unbelievable! It will last on standby with 6-8 hrs of use each day for 2 days. The celeron processor is a bit chunky. I also cannot figure out why there is only 1 Gb of free space on the 32 Gb hard drive when all my docs are stored on a USB drive. For $200, these are not terrible issues. Great machine for students or "light" users.

I bought this over a year ago and it has been fault-free. Holds charge appropriately and easy to use.

I have had Lenovo laptops before & this one has not disappointed. It is very lightweight, and the screen is not huge but big enough for regular viewing. The keys are flattened more than my previous keyboard so have had to press harder but that was not a problem. Good laptop for the cost!

I bought this for my boyfriend who uses it primarily for social media to stay in touch with out-of-state friends. He also uses it to surf the net for his business. He is a newbie to the computer world, and he doesn't need to save a lot of data, so this Lenovo fits his needs perfectly. After a year of moderate use, we have had no problems with it whatsoever. I'm thinking about getting one for my mom for Christmas!

Smart choice for an in-expensive laptop. 14 inch screen and easy to navigate, and compact.

I LOVE this laptop so far. The battery life is incredible. The speakers are okay, but I use earbuds 99% of the time so that isn't an issue for me. Storage is the only issue I have run into so far. I may purchase an external hard drive. For web surfing, YouTube, shopping, listening to music, etc....this is a great laptop at a very affordable price. I have been especially enjoying it for browsing the web and keeping myself entertained on the train when going to visit family. I highly recommend it! The blue color is also very nice.

I bought this laptop in January 2017 and am generally happy with it, but it is seriously deficient in memory. For several months now, since I had it for about 6 month, it has had insufficient memory to install all Windows 10 updates. I cannot store documents or any other discretionary items on the computer due to its memory shortage. This is a terrible system design deficiency.

Can be slow loading sometimes. Great for printing coupons or checking e-mails. Sometimes it is annoying that is not touch screen. If money is tight this is definitely the way to go. Lightweight and does everything I need. Very affordable.

We are using this for mostly web browsing and youtube and it is performing well as other mid-range($500) priced laptop. One minor issue with this product is that the screen is flickering occasionally.

I purchased this laptop for the a few sir rent reasons. Price, compact, and no moving parts as far as the HD goes. I needed something that was light to carry in my bag pack and yet a decent screen size, this budget friendly laptop fit the bill! The specs I can't complain about since I knew what I was getting, so I'm happy with them. If your just needing something basic for email and web browsing then you can not go wrong with this purchase. The boot up time is fast and the processor is fine for basic tasks. I would recommend it to anyone who looking for just that.

Its light weight, easy to set up and use. Fits in my bag with no issues. Needs more memory but for the price u cant beat it.
