I snagged this Chromebook on an early Black Friday deal for under $200. I like that it's both touchscreen and convertible to a tent or tablet mode. I've been using it for light browsing about a week and I haven't had to charge it yet after the initial charge. It's the perfect size for me to keep near the couch or bed and be able to browse and shop. I've installed Netflix and a couple other apps and so far so good. I like that the charger is USB-C so it will be able to share chargers with other devices or my work laptop rather than the proprietary charger I saw on a competing product. The one problem I have with this is that it has a standard SD card reader and if you insert a card it sticks out from the side. I would prefer either microSD or that the card sits flush to the computer so that you can leave the card in for extra storage.

Excellent value in a Chromebook. Built like tank, designed for the education market. Maybe a bit heavy given the screen size but again it is built for abuse or at least that is the claim. I am not likely to abuse like a school kid might but the value caught my eye and the ability to use a tablet is a nice plus. All the Android apps I have tried run fine, a few will only run in "phone" size or full screen but are still perfectly usable in the smaller size. Battery life seems excellent, have not tested it all that much but looks like it would easily last a full day with average use. I have not observed any issues with as many as 8 tabs open in Chrome so seems to have plenty of power. Very happy so far.

I picked this up to use strictly for internet and word processing / spread sheets etc.. The touchscreen is a nice feature. Moreover, it isn’t overly sensitive as most yet allows a user to complete tasks. The overall size fits perfectly in a shoulder carry bag. The speed / graphics are much more than I expected. For the price, I expected it to be slow and somewhat “fuzzy”. However, a quick click and you’re there with a crisp clean view. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this notebook. You could easily spend 3x’s the amount and still be equal. For the skeptics (like me): I do not work for or in no way benefit from this review.

So far this has been a great buy! Very easy to use. Runs my work programs fast and works well with the various internet connections I have including when I use public WiFi. Runs very fast and good battery life per charge. Best Laptop I have bought in a while. Work as advertised and I love the touchscreen. Very Responsive.

This little thing has impressed me!! It’s more durable than the other two I purchased, faster, and in my experience, Lenovo products just last longer. It’s easy to use and it’s a touch screen! I purchased 3 laptops the day I bought this, one for each kid to do school from, and this one was the cheapest and the best in my opinion!

Purchased two of these on sale at $179 and have been happy with their quality and performance. Kids are 11 and 15 and they both love the Chrome OS and the laptop/tablet format. The white color is sharp. They are using for personal and school work. The touch screen is responsive, they are quick, run all day and are lightweight.

I'll be honest that part of the initial attraction to this Chromebook was the color. However, after getting it home and getting used to it compared to a full on laptop.....I grew to absolutely love it! It's fast, there is no bogged down start up or delay in opening apps verses programs. It's casting to a smart tv, bluetooth abilities and such are amazing and operate quickly. The batter life has been good and I use this when we travel to play presaved youtube stuff for the kids or let them sync to our vehicle for wifi. It is a touch screen as well and if you fold it in half it makes a might nice big tablet. There isn't much need for an old school laptop these days, the Chromebooks are the way to go and Lenovo makes a dang nice one. Screen resolution and quality are spot on, I have an old Dell laptop and it looks gritty by comparison. It's a really nice unit and I would recommend it highly.

The price was too good to pass up on Black Friday, but I admit to having extremely low expectations (this is my Chromebook). It's peppier than I expected and it runs Android apps wonderfully. While it's heavy and a bit awkward in tablet mode, the touchscreen is extremely responsive and scrolling through Twitter or large articles (saved in Pocket) is a wonderful experience. The keyboard is excellent (though the key placement takes a bit of getting used to given the difference between a Windows/Linux laptop and a Chromebook). ChromeOS just updated today to version 79. I'm impressed with how well thought out the entire Chromebook experience is. I have not installed the Linux beta system (crostini) though I thought I would. It turns out that there is a Chrome Extension which fully supports ssh, including PKI keys, so I can easily access my remote servers and use this machine to administer them. Battery life is very good and it fully charges in a reasonable amount of time.

I wanted something to take on vacations so that I could access my emails, internet and transfer my pictures from my camera. My laptop was big and heavy. This Chromebook is light, battery lasts forever and easy to use. I am not a fan of Chrome but it is easy to use. I added a Bluetooth mouse and USB port hub so that I can access my documents and look at pictures. It only has one USB port so the hub is helpful. I got this for my birthday and love it. No need for a traditional laptop for travel, this does it all. There is a little learning curve but plenty of u tube videos to explain how to use it. Not complicated at all. I highly recommend the Lenovo because the screen is bright, clear and has a touch screen.

Sure it's not for photo or video editing, graphic design or video games, but that's not what I bought it for. I already have a PC for all that stuff, but I wanted a light weight machine that I could use to take with me anywhere, web browse, pay bills, social media, watch some youtube, budget with google sheets, mess with resumes or whatever, basically almost all entirely web stuff from my couch. It delivered for under $300! I still can do some light weight photo editing, I haven't tried messing with gopro footage using their Quik app, but I'm sure it can handle it. It's a pretty solid machine. Definitely not an imac pro or dell xps replacement and definitely not a razer blade, but then again, those cost an additional $1200-1500 more.

I am the type of person that reads reviews, and watches reviews of products before I buy them. This Lenovo Chromebook is excellent. The battery lasts 20hours with light use. When I’m use the battery lasts about 15hours. I am a nursing student so I am constantly on it taking notes, as well as watching instructional videos. The video quality is good, not HD. It buffers sometimes, but not enough to be a Nuisance. This chromebook is fast! It turns on on and logs on in less than 3 seconds. I have never had a computer that is so fast. This folds into a tablet. It is a nice feature, but I don’t have too much use for that. I do like that it is a touch screen, and that it is very responsive. I would highly recommend this chromebook.

This chrome book has exceeded my expectations. The battery last the suggested 10 hours, the picture is just fine at 720p, the keyboard works great. Sure the construction isnt the most durable but at this price it does so much in such a compact platform that i love it. Currently typing out this review with this wonderful chromebook. If you are looking for a 2 in 1 for general web/google docs, look no further. Also the USB C charging is just fantastic and i also use it to charge my fast charge capable devices. absolutely would purchase again and recommend.

I bought this as a small travel computer leisure game device. Best Buy put this Chromebook on sale the week before Thanksgiving, so I couldn't resist. I have used Chromebooks for a few years now, along with Windows and Mac, so I knew that I was getting a different type of device than a Windows or Mac laptop. For those of you unfamiliar with Chromebooks, you should learn a few key differences such as: 1. Chromebooks are great for web surfing and doing tasks that use Cloud storage solutions, such as Google's G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Presentation, Drive, etc.). 2. While you don't have to have a Google account to use one, you won't be able to do much beyond web surf without a gmail account. 3. Storage is much smaller than Windows or Mac laptops since almost everything is stored on your Google Drive. 4. Programs are not installed on the Chromebook, with the exception of an executable file that allows you to open the program (stored online) so you don't need as much drive space as you might on a Windows or Mac. 5. Processors and video are not going to be as "high end" as you get on Windows or Mac, and many services (ie. Steam, UPlay, etc.) don't run on them as of yet. 6. ChromeOS is Google, so it is similar to an Android phone, and installs apps through the same store. Think of it as having an iPhone and an iPad, where you can install apps, access music and movies through the same account, just the Google Play store. As for me, I have both personal and work related accounts through Google's services (I work for a school district) and my children also have them for school, so any of them can log in and have all of their school related materials available. Why buy this Chromebook? 1. Decent size (not too big, not too small) for a travel laptop 2. Screen colors and resolution work well in most lighting and for watching movies/playing games 3. Battery life is very good under normal use 4. Storage and RAM were above average for the price (think of RAM as your workspace and Memory as your file cabinet or tool storage, so more RAM increases performance and saves battery life generally speaking 5. Keyboard is better than expected for a device in this price range 6. Not all Chromebooks have a touchscreen, but this one does and it folds over to become a tablet (a 2-in-1) 7. Charging by USB-C so it can use the same charger as my cell phone (or vice versa) 8. Built in HDMI port so I can connect physically to another screen, but can also Cast to other screens through Wi-Fi on the Chrome browser 9. Touchpad has additional features not in all budget friendly Chromebooks 10. You can compare it to the high end PixelBook from Google, which I was also considering, and decide what your own price/performance needs are (Lenovo C330) 11. Camera and microphone work well for Zoom or other video conferencing Hopefully all of this information is helpful to you in your own quest, regardless of your decision.

Got this on Thanksgiving sale for $180 - a big bargain. It's what you'd expect from a small Chromebook, but can be used in full tablet form. Good battery life, easy to carry around, easy to use. It is a bit heavier and slightly slower than my previous Acer non-touch and it only has one USB port, but I consider that an OK trade-off to get the touchscreen and convertible form. I even find myself using the touchscreen in regular laptop configuration. Note that a lot of apps don't really take advantage of the convertible format, but here's hoping. If you want a small Chromebook and are willing to pay more for a convertible, this is a good one.

Our MacBook Pro was feeling a little sluggish, and we started shopping for a new laptop. With the home school curriculum our children have, we made a list of things they needed to be able to do their school work. Essentially we needed a laptop that can browse the web, and ability to use Word, Excel & PowerPoint. It needed to be able to use Flash for video lessons and live lessons. At a fraction of the price of a Windows and Mac OS laptop, the Chromebook delivers exceptional value! Google already has their own compatible versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint through Google Drive. All you need is a gmail account and your ready to rock! We chose to get the touch screen version since our children are already used to having iPads and phones. My son is in 4th grade and not only does this Chromebook fit his needs for school, he also figured out that he can download a lot of the same games he already plays in his iPad! Great buy!

This is not a laptop for a gamer, but it is a great entry laptop. Not a lot of memory or blazing speed. I purchased this item so I can print from websites, something I can’t currently do with my iPad. This item was on sale for $170 and I use it in conjunction with my iPad for those items I want to print but can’t with my iPad. The keyboard is okay and it has a touchscreen. Thus far, I haven’t used it for much more than printing. The set-up was simple to my Epson XP-830 printer. Don’t expect detailed instructions to come with it — you probably don’t need it if you are already familiar with laptops. A Chromebook representative at the store told me it comes with virus protection and that these laptops are used for children in schools.
