I love the slim, compact Lenovo I bought. BUT I hate that it has no Home and End keys. Also, I was annoyed to learn that the battery is built in, meaning that IF it needs replacing, I must have Lenovo do it.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. There are both Home and Ends keys on this model. They are incorporated within the arrow left and arrow right keys. Just hold down the "Fn" key then tap the arrow left key for the Home function and the arrow right key for the End function. I really like SSD so far and the keypad is good. the cursor pad is slightly annoying, i keep bumping it. Not really happy with the OS so far, they put a ton of apps that i don't want and the display when i go to the start menu is annoying with useless things. i consider myself a fan of linux so that might be the reason for my dissatisfaction.

Thank you for choosing the lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Lenovo has the cleanest operating system install in the industry, with the least amount of adware. The only adware installed by Lenovo is a 30-day trial of McAfee anti virus software.

SSD Issues and Warranty Service is Poor

I had the laptop for 2 months as it sat on the desk 100% of the time. SSD hard drive failure. Sent in for repairs after trying numerous things for hours. Their ticketing site was down so I had to keep calling back to get a ticket created. 2 weeks after sending it in received laptop back. Had to reinstall everything. 2 months later same thing happened. I created a ticket and sent the laptop back in under warranty. 5 weeks later they tell me it is still in diagnostic status. Would you want to go 5+ weeks without your laptop? Also, their warranty doesn't include shipping it back or the packaging. Adds $35 to the cost. Would you go 5+ weeks without your laptop and have the service desk just tell you they will email you whenever the status changes?

wow, I bought the model with 128GB SSD for $529 then I made a copy of the system thru a system image like a back up and bought a samsung SSD drive for $97 dollars with 500GB, in all I ended up spending $629 for this computer, windows starts in less than 10 seconds, faster than my chromebook, I'll never buy a regular hard drive for the rest of my life

Been dealing with pc's for more than 30 years. This is the absolute worst pc I've ever purchased. Had it about 3 weeks and it just wouldn't function properly. couldn't even get into the settings to try to fix software problems. Support from Lenovo was even worse. Poor English, not knowledgeable about functions, and seemed to be in a bif hurry to get you off the phone. DONT BUY A LENOVO PRODUCT RETURNING TO BEST BUY

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. If you can no longer boot the computer, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the SD card on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
