Almost bought an M1 Macbook but glad I got this instead. This computer is a great value for the money and pretty close to the M1 in many performance metrics. You also save over $200. The 14 inch form factor is the perfect balance of screen real estate and portability. The touchscreen is great for art and a better user experience. It is using Wacom Technology and works great with the Wacom Bamboo pen. The Flex 5 has some of the best battery life and performance of any laptop I have owned with up to 14 hours of video playback in my personal experience. Shadow of The Tomb Raider gets up to 4.5 hours of battery at up to 50fps on low settings with Ultra Textures. Not bad for integrated graphics. With 8 true Zen 2 cores I can beast through just about any task. While having a metal body would be nice like the x360, the lightweight plastic body is nice to have if you are on the go a lot. Only around 3 pounds. Trackpad is precise and right in the middle unlike the x360 and the keyboard feel is tactile and easy to get used to. Speakers are great for the size and have a nice balance. The including Dolby Audio software makes a difference for games or movies. They aren't as good as some bigger laptops but pretty impressive mids and an ample amount of sound for how small it is. Overall I could only wish for 12gb of RAM and a brighter screen. I definitely recommend this laptop if you're looking for the best all around laptop. If you like to do art, take notes, or need something to be ultra portable. This is the ticket!

Really like this lap top. Nice size. Quick. Light weight. Lovely colors / resolution on the display. But I was slightly disappointed with the service from Best Buy on getting it set up.

This is my family's third Lenovo laptop recently bought , and I couldn't be happier. Earlier I spent more on a custom HP thinking it would be faster ,with have more bells and whistles and boy was I wrong.I'm constantly reaching for this guy while my other gathers cobwebs .

Excellent battery life but was really unhappy with the feedback received from colleagues re: poor picture and sound on their end. That is not a good thing in these times, when everything is done remotely. Needless to say, I was really unhappy about that. It's not an inexpensive computer; I expected better,

Couldn’t be happier with the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5! Had first purchased an HP laptop and had nothing but problems the first three days of using. Returned that one and purchased this Lenovo in its place. I was hesitant as I wasn’t too familiar with the Lenovo brand. So glad I did! Extremely user friendly and my 9 year old has no problems using it independently for online learning. Would highly recommend!!

Configuration wise, it is good laptop with the best CPU benchmark of all currently available by the Best Buy. It is fast and responsive. The RAM should be at least 12GB, but you barely feel the difference. The only reason, I have returned it is because of the display quality. The picture is very dull. I tried to update the graphic driver, it was the latest one available, which was disappointing. It is quite heavy to hold, which is understandable because the laptop has 8 cores. Recommendation to Lenovo would be, better display, QLED for example, higher RAM, and if possible reduce the weight. If these Recommendations would be satisfied, this laptop will be the beast and the best priced one as well.

Plenty fast enough, just wish it would wake up from sleep a little quicker. I have two Lenovo Yoga's with intel i5s that wake up immediately when you open the lid.

Excellent so far - extremely light. I was coming from a Surface Pro 2, so that was a concern, but this is nice. We'll see how it holds up speed-wise.

Owned for two days. Would not allow connection to a ThinkVision M14 monitor. Lenovo's tech unable to fix problem via remote. Considerably better service than Geek Squad. Other than that, Flex 5 14" with the AMD was fast.
