I have been admiring the Lenovo Legion series computers for quite some time and finally decided to get one. Then disappointment happened. This was the 3rd Legion in a month, 2 different specs of the Legion 5 tower that I returned. The first was ordered directly from Lenovo and a lower spec. It stopped displaying to my monitor, got returned. Then I got a step up spec Legion 5 tower from Best Buy. It was going fine for a week and then the Bluetooth stopped working with Bluetooth driver malfunction faults from hardware(I learned after time spent trouble shooting). I exchanged it for another of the same spec. This one also lasted about a week and the Bluetooth stopped working on this one as well, same Bluetooth driver error, but this time the Bluetooth came back after a restart. I did not want to take my chances and have other issues arise after the return window, so I returned that one too and built my own PC from which I writing this review from. Because of the research I did prior to these purchases I would still recommend giving the Lenovo Legion tower a chance, if you don't have the desire to build your own PC.

Upon receiving the Lenovo "Legion" gaming desktop PC on my front door step and opening the box, I was delighted to see Lenovo securely package it well while also including wired USB keyboard and USB mouse along with a small bit of documentation.
Build Quality and Initial First Thoughts
With the PC out of the box, its not light but not heavy, it feels just right especially for a gaming PC, the workmanship put into it feels excellent and well durable. Upon turning it on for the first time and going through the initial setup process, it was quick and painless and right to the desktop within a few minutes. I did have one small problem initially from the start, I had kept glancing over through the glass side case anticipating the RGB LED's to grace me with its colors but I seen nothing. While looking through the Lenovo Programs that are pre-installed on Windows 11, I did find fairly quickly the Lenovo Vantage App and seen that the RGB Preset was by default off and with enabling it, all the RGB lighting lit up. Not sure if this was by design but its a quick easy fix but this could make other buyers of this tower think that there is a problem with this PC and may either call support or return to Best Buy for a exchange and/or refund thus I had to knock a star off.
With Lenovo's pre-installed programs, they work really well and do not use much resources, they are easy to uninstall if a user prefers no OEM programs but I wouldn't see why a user would. Lenovo's Audio App, Nahimic is wonderful, Lenovo Vantage is where one would go check for updates and get support and so much more. Also included is McAfee (which I uninstalled as I am happy with Windows Security/Defender) and comes with 3 months of Xbox Ultimate Game Pass Subscription for free.
Ports, Connectivity & Upgradability
Top of the case provides 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, headphone and mic jacks.
The back: 2 USB-A 2.0 ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 2) ports, 1 USB-C (3.2 Gen 2) port, 3 Audio connectors, and a 2.5G ethernet connector.
Internal expandability has (4) DDR5 UDIMM slots for memory (with a maximum of 32GB) which 2 slots are utilized by 8GB Sticks and there is 1 available M.2 slot for another internal NVMe SSD. Also included is SATA3 ports available and a storage bay for two 3.5 inch drives in the bottom of the case and then there is the MediaTek RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth wireless adapter, WI-FI works flawless and Bluetooth connectivity to my Xbox One Controller was quick and had great range.
In what’s a refreshing change from major OEMs, the Legion 5i is built entirely from standardized, modular components with no proprietary form factors or connectors. This ensures minimal e-waste as it makes servicing, upgrading, and recycling the system far easier. Indeed, any Geek Squad technician or experienced PC builder can service the system using off-the-shelf components, making support after warranty viable and giving the system a longer service life.
Performance
Smooth, fast/snappy! Tried out Crysis and played smoothly without a hitch. Ran Passmark benchmark test and the results were decently well to my standards. I have included a picture of it in my review
Conclusion
This Legion Gaming PC is very solid. I like the performance and how relatively quiet the machine is, this is an excellent choice just remember if you purchase one of these and the RGB LED's do not come on, go into the Lenovo Vantage software and turn them on after Windows 11 gets finished setting up but with that minor inconvenience and possible worry, I would highly recommend this!

Coming from consoles I can already see the improvement this has over them. I’m playing at ultra settings on a 2k resolution monitor and the details look great. Just gotta adjust to mouse and keyboard lol. Just be sure to update drivers on first boot up I had a couple monitor issues that were all driver related.

This Lenovo Legion 5 tower is a hefty beast. The large aluminum case has good interior cable management and plenty of open space inside for good airflow. The top of the front plastic facia contains two USB A 3.2 ports, power button and two audio ports. Rear ports include three additional audio ports, four USB A 3.2 ports, two USB A 2.0 ports, a USB-C 3.2 port, and an RJ45 ethernet port. The GPU has three DisplayPorts and one HDMI. There are spare SATA cables bundled inside for additional internal peripherals. The machine has ample ports but I was a bit disappointed to discover there aren’t three USB-C ports as specified in the product description. There’s only one.
Setup was a time consuming but mostly problem free affair. I ran into a couple driver issues during setup where the system displayed messages stating that no AMD products were installed or were incompatible. I installed AMD Adrenalin using the URL in one of the error messages, which quickly resolved all of the driver issues. On the plus side, Adrenaline doesn’t annoyingly require a mandatory account for driver updates.
The internal RGB lighting looks snazzy but it was disabled initially. I enabled it using the button on the rear but it disables itself after every reboot. I eventually got fed up with being constantly forced to re-enable it and finally left it disabled. The built-in wireless card has good signal strength and I encountered no lag nor any issues with general browsing, file downloads, streaming or online gaming.
This is a gaming desktop but I plan to split equal time on it between gaming and digital art. The Ryzen 7 7700 CPU and 16GB of DDR5 RAM is more than capable for web browsing, streaming, and desktop productivity use. Best of all, it handles my art programs and drawing tablet just fine and I had no driver issues with the tablet. Again, more USB-C ports would have been helpful in my specific usage scenario, specifically for the drawing tablet. I was already working around a shortage of USB-C ports on my previous desktop; I’ll just have to continue to do so. I also originally planned to upgrade the 16GB RAM to 64GB for my art and digital media apps, but max capacity is 32GB. It’s running the art apps fine at 16GB, so although 64GB would have been a nice luxury to have, 32GB should be enough. At least I can install a secondary internal SSD swap drive using the spare SATA cables.
The Radeon RX7600 proved to be a robust gaming GPU. I decided to start out with some more demanding games to judge gaming performance. I’m able to play CP’77 at 1920x1080 (monitor capped) with decent quality graphics settings. Ray-tracing defaulted to low as I expected, but graphical quality in other areas played smoothly at higher settings. I occasionally encountered minor frame rate drops, but the system handled the game well overall and kept it fun to play. According to AMD Adrenalin, my average fps in the game are 59.9 and performance is rated “marginal”. The marginal rating and frame rate improves with lower quality graphic settings.
Next up was NFSU racing. That game got an “excellent” rating in Adrenaline and averages 111 fps with graphics set to auto. Manually setting graphics quality to high yielded 60fps. In both modes, the game plays well and GPU temps remain steady around 60c. The game graphics looked underwhelming initially due to horrible tearing, especially along the city buildings. Enabling V-sync cleaned it right up and it looked much better afterwards.
I can improve performance by dialing back graphic quality settings on both games, but I’m satisfied with the performance to quality ratio at the higher system default settings. Less demanding games play outstanding at excellent frame rates. Luckily, these are predominantly the type games that will play on this system rather than bleeding edge resource draining titles like the two I initially tested with.
Adrenaline also offers options to fine tune and improve game performance. Selecting the fine tune option takes me to a tuning menu where I can overclock the CPU, GPU, or VRAM. I can also under-volt the GPU, or choose other performance improving options. I kept everything set to default for now since the games that will played won’t necessarily require overclocking.
The system runs at acceptable temperatures and fan speeds during gameplay. The fans are quiet most of the time and I haven’t yet heard them ramp up to annoyingly loud volume, nor have I felt a steady blast of hot air from the rear or heat from the side panels. The open interior space and fan alignment work together nicely for good airflow and cooling.
The Legion 5 tower is a decent mid-range gaming desktop. I chose the Ryzen 7 7700 specifically for digital art, but the system is also a strong gamer. I have no doubts it will easily handle the majority of the games I plan to play on it. The machine is also excellent for desktop productivity use. It runs quiet, cool, and other than the initial minor driver hiccup and weird RGB operation, I haven’t run into any other performance issues. My only complaints are the lack of extra USB-C ports and the RAM being capped at 32GB. They’re the only disappointing aspects of this otherwise strong performer.

This is my first gaming tower from Lenovo, and it did not disappoint. The tower itself is a little larger than I expected, measuring 15.5” from front to back, 17.25” tall, 8” wide, and weighing around 31 lbs. The unit comes with a power cable and basic USB mouse and full keyboard to get you started, so note that you will need to supply your own monitor for use.
This particular build has mid-range introductory specs: an AMD Ryzen 7700 8-core CPU with 16 threads, 3.8 GHz base clock, and 5.3 GHz boost clock, 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM (expandable up to 32GB via two unoccupied RAM slots), a 1 GB SSD, and dedicated AMD Radeon RX7600 GPU. The GPU has 4 outputs, 3xDisplayPort 2.1 (DP) and 1xHDMI 2.1. Just note that there are more powerful pre-configurations of the T5 available. I did encounter one issue right away after setup; there was a “bad image” popup error message every time Windows or Lenovo Vantage would start up, but I was able to resolve it by uninstalling the Nahimic and Lenovo Vantage software then reinstalling them.
The graphics card ships with a horizontal anti-sag bracket pre-installed. Just under the GPU is a PCIex4 slot for card expansion and m.2 slot for an additional storage drive. The max power rating of the power supply is 500Watts, and there are a couple SATA cables and two 3.5 drive bays accessible behind the right-hand panel for additional storage. The main drive is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe and has max read and write speeds benchmarked around 6000MB/s and 4700 MB/s respectively. As for cooling, there are a mesh air intake vent on the bottom, open grid front, top, and rear, as well as a massive heatsink over the CPU with dedicated fan, and the GPU has two fans along its bottom.
There's an aRGB LED strip running across the top front edge inside the case and integrated into each of the four 120mm case fans: 2 at the front of the case, 1 at the rear, and 1 on the CPU. By default, the lighting effects are set to ‘off,’ and you can manually toggle them on/off by pressing a button on the back of the tower. The LEDs’ RGB settings can be customized in Lenovo Vantage and each component can be set independently or as part of an animation. After you select a color profile in Lenovo Vantage (up to 3 pre-sets), they will light up automatically when you power on the computer. On the front, the RGB lighting will show through the “Legion” logo, and the fans are visible through the 3D cube grid, while the glass left-hand-side panel allows the LEDs to been viewed thorough the case. While under heavy loads the machine is relatively quiet, as much as 6 running fans can be, and these are enough to keep operating temperatures in the case under 90°C and of components below 80°C.
In terms of I/O there are 2xUSB-A 3.2 Gen 1 along with mic and headphone ports, and power button on top; 2xUSB-A 3.2 Gen2, 1xUSB-C 3.2 Gen2, 2xUSB-A 3.2 Gen1, 2xUSB-A 2.0, and mic, audio out and line-in ports at the back. That’s plenty of room to add-on peripherals, hubs, and external storage at high transfer speeds. As for connectivity, there’s a 2.5 GB/s Ethernet port, WiFi 6E (802.11ax 2x2), and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast network and internet connections and lag-free audio for wireless Bluetooth headphones.
This system is optimized for 1080p gaming and when connected to my gaming monitor, I saw consistent frame rates of 240 at full HD resolution with Med to High settings and FreeSync enabled in games like Counterstrike, 144 fps in Warframe, and 120 fps Path of Exile. In general, visuals were smooth and tear-free without noticeable lag or stuttering. I edit a lot of 4K video content and found that this rig is more than capable of handling the rigors of content creation from processing added effects to exporting large files with speed and efficiency.
Overall, the Legion T5 is a decently-speced, mid-range gaming PC that delivers very nice video performance for casual gaming, perfect for 1080p players. It packs enough power for content creators as well and would work well for other business, creative, or casual use. There are several pathways for upgrading by the user, though you could simply go with a higher tier configuration pre-build for more power and even better performance.

I build alot of computers for myself, for family, for friends. I primarily play lots of video games, a little dabble in streaming and video editing, and some minor musical / art productions. So my needs vary widely.
This system is marketed as an entry level gaming PC. It is dead on and hits the mark. You're getting the entry GPU Radeon 7600, you're efficiently powering the system with a AMD 7700, and with just enough RAM 16gm, you're going to hit all the modern games.
The sweet spot is medium to high graphics at 1080p, or low to medium graphics at 1440p. If you're not sure what that means, it just means you have to get a monior with 1080p HD or 1440p HD. And I have the benchmarks to support that claim.
Pluggin the system in, the network/wifi or network cable, and everything installs pretty much self explanatory.
Once up and running, I immediately got on 3dbenchmark to see how it fairs among the general population, and it's pretty average. Nothing amazing, nothing broken, it will get the job done.
The mouse and keyboard is very basic, I highly recommend that you replace it, but it is nice that it's included so at least you can get up and running.
There are 2 additional memory slots, you can add more ram.
Getting into the system is very easy, tool-less screws in the back, tempered glass pops off.
There's 3 aRGB plugs accessible, 1 more chassis fan accessible, and of course the GPU is easily accessible and replaceable should you want an upgrade.
I included screen shots of my benchmarks and burn-in tests, the temperature never hits 90c on the CPU and I barely hear the fan, it is very very quiet.
This is more than enough for a college student, a gamer running 1080p resolution monitors, that needs something reliable and doesn't heat up the whole room, you have a winner. Throw in a little icing with the built in RGB that's controllable with the software, this is an easy buy for early gamers.

A Fantastic Upgrade

I got this Legion Tower 5 to replace my aging “Off-Brand” PC. My old one is about 6-7 years old though I have upgraded a few components over the years. The Legion is an upgrade in EVERY respect.
What I have enjoyed so far:
-The Legion is so fast! My old PC has performed well but I play some open world games like NIMBY Rails and Cities: Skylines. While these games don’t have fast-paced action, they can be graphically intensive and my old PC struggled to open some large worlds. The Legion Tower 5 opened the big worlds in these games with ease! The graphics are much more smooth and the games just operate better in general.
-The tower is nearly silent! There are several fans on this unit but they are all very quiet, much quieter than my old PC.
-WiFi 6E connectivity has been great too. I don’t have an ethernet cable available where my computer is so I rely on WiFi. My old PC did not have WiFi built in so I needed an adapter, but no more!
-Lots of ports! There are six USB-A ports on the back and two on top, one USB-C on the back (I do wish there were more USB-C vs A), three DisplayPort, and one HDMI. Of course it has headphone and mic ports on top as well as three audio ports on the back. It is also equipped with an RJ45 ethernet port if you prefer that over the WiFi 6E.
-There is room to expand too. The Legion Tower 5 has two 8GB RAM sticks installed but there is room for two more. There are also two expansion bays open. It comes with a 1TB SSD but an open m.2 slot would allow for more storage if needed.
-I appreciate that the tower came with a basic mouse and keyboard. I have a mechanical keyboard and a nice mouse but it’s nice to have backups/another option.
I have it hooked to two Acer 1440p 165hz monitors via DisplayPort and the Legion runs full resolution at 165hz with no issues. I had no issues getting this machine up and running. Windows, of course, does take some time, but I had it going from a backup of my old PC in a very reasonable amount of time.
Overall the Ryzen 7700 and Radeon RX 7600 are more than enough power for any game I play. Even the largest maps on NIMBY Rails and Cities: Skyline load with ease and have very smooth visuals. I could not be happier with the upgrade!

Lenovo Legion Tower 5, a solid gaming machine

First impressions at unboxing, the Storm Gray color is a welcome alternative to a black box. Unwrapping the side revels a full glass panel that shows off its innards that can be lit with RGB LEDs and controlled by the included Lenovo Vantage app. Also included in the box was a keyboard and mouse. Standard fare stuff but it will get you going and you can upgrade as funds allow. Before I hooked anything up, I pulled both covers for a closer look. I see the 1tb SSD is an M2 on the motherboard and I see another M2 socket to add a second one if needed down the road. There’s three bays for additional HDD or SSD storage devices. I didn’t fish out the cables but I’m only seeing two SATA connectors tucked back in there. The Radeon RX 7600 GPU provides three Display Ports and one HDMI port. There’s an empty PCIe x16 slot for future upgrades. Lenovo provided two USB-A ports up front on top next to the power button along with a headphone and mic jack and six more USB-A ports and a USB-C port on the rear. The whole top and front of the case are mesh for cooling. The PSU in mine is a HuntKey 500wt model.
My new monitor hadn’t arrived yet so I connected this machine to my 85”4k TV via HDMI and fired it up. I’m actually surprised at how sharp the picture is! I was expecting it to be a little grainy with the desktop expanded out so big but it looks really good. I use my PC for gaming and also for CAD for my 3D printers so I began downloading a couple games and my design software. These gaming machines do a great job with 3D model rendering too. I enjoy a FPS type game after work most days and since Fortnite was the first game to finish downloading, I started there. All graphics were set to Epic and I selected to show the frame rate onscreen. With just my character on the screen, I was getting 70-75 fps. If there were multiple players or vehicles then I did see it dip into the low 60’s. No issues with stuttering or screen tears, it played smooth. I still died too often but it wasn’t any fault of the PC! Lol. I did score back to back victories and a few back to back losses before I turned my 15 year old son loose with his favorite Nacon controller. He was able to eliminate a quarter of the lobby by himself before getting the W.
Might be good to note that the Lenovo Vantage app has a thermal mode setting where you can choose if you want it to run fast and loud or reduce performance a bit and quiet the cooling fans. That might be good if you’re running this machine as an HTPC and need it to stay quieter? The fans are quite quiet in the default balance mode even while I was working on a complicated 3D model.
I was able to play Hitman 3 also before writing this review, it played solid, no issues.
This PC is quite a capable performer, upgradable, and a bargain at this price. I also appreciate that Lenovo chose not to load up the machine with bloatware, instead providing links to apps and allowing the user to install just what they want.

Anything with Legion on it that comes from Lenovo is amazing. This is no exception. I was amazed at how premium the case felt when I unboxed the desktop. It doesn't feel cheap or anything of the sort. It has some heft and weight to it making it sturdy. There are vents on the front and top for air cooling. You get a good range of ports.
The CPU is the Ryzen 7 7700 which is an 8 core 16 thread CPU. This will be more efficient and easier to cool. Over the Ryzen 7700X variant. It doesn't use as much wattage. I found it great for gaming and productivity. The 16GB of RAM was replaced with 32 GB. That's just what I prefer. Plus, modern games play better with more headroom. The 8GB of GPU RAM is the weak point in this system. Sure, you can play games at 1080p high settings. You can also play some games at 1440p with the correct settings. But I wish they put a better GPU in this rig.
The cooling has been more than fine. That's the beauty of the 65W Ryzen 7 7700. The RGB lighting looks dope as well. You can add an extra SSD m.2. It's great that it came with 1 TB of storage. There is even room to upgrade the system from what it looks like.
Overall this is a great mid tier gaming desktop. With some room for future upgrades if you dare. A solid case and design. A powerful CPU that doesn't eat up wattage. The only thing that is the bottleneck is the GPU. It's fine for 1080p and some 1440p gaming. But you will not be crushing games with the highest settings in 1440 or 4k. You also get AV1 encoding for content creation. So not a bad package overall. Just know the limitations and this will server you well.

Impressive Gaming Desktop

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 is a compact mid-tower gaming desktop with excellent build quality and aesthetics. I absolutely love the looks and practicality of the case as it strikes the perfect balance between buying a proprietary prebuilt system or building your own system with standard parts.
The case comes with 3 aRGB fans and provides very good air flow and is very quiet. The case is also very easy to get inside so upgrading your computer as your needs grow is easy to do.
I also like the fact that there isn’t a lot of bloatware that came preinstalled. I only see 3 apps (Lenovo Vantage, Legion Arena, and McAfee) that were preinstalled and I actually like Lenovo Vantage and think it is useful.
The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 comes with a basic USB keyboard and mouse and has the following internal components:
Custom Lenovo AMD B650 motherboard (looks like it is a Micro ATX form factor)
AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU
AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB graphics card
16 GB Samsung DDR5-5600 memory in two 8 GB sticks
SKHynix HFS001TEJ9X102N 1TB NVMe SSD
MediaTek RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth wireless adapter.
Realtek Gaming 2.5 GbE Ethernet Adapter
500W Power Supply
The wireless adapter has been rock solid with my home network (TP Link Mesh routers) and is giving me extremely good stable link speeds of 2402/2404 Mbps. The internal SSD is very fast and achieves an average of about 6000 MBytes/sec reads and 5000 MBytes/sec writes.
The whole system has been super fast and super stable for me. All my productivity apps have been very zippy. I usually do a test of installing Visual Studio 2022 to see how fast a computer is and it only took about 10 minutes to install my usual workload which I think is the fastest of all my computers.
I also like to use Handbrake as a test and I was able to transcode video to AV1 format (using AMD’s hardware VCE encoder) and I was getting an astounding 1359 fps.
Gaming has been fantastic. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 provides smooth game play with excellent quality graphics. I’ve always thought that AMD graphics cards seem to provide noticeably more vibrant and richer colors that make games look really good.
The games that I have been playing (Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Age of Wonders 4) all run at a solid 60 fps on my 2560 x 1440p monitor at high settings. I’ve been having so much fun playing Age of Wonders 4 that I almost didn’t have enough time to write this review!
External expandability is very good. The top panel of the case provides 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports and headphone and mic jacks.
In the back, the motherboard provides 2 USB-A 2.0 ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 (Gen 2) ports, 1 USB-C (3.2 Gen 2) port, 3 Audio connectors, and a 2.5G ethernet connector.
Internal expandability is also good as there are 4 DDR5 UDIMM slots for memory (2 of them are currently filled with 8 GB sticks) and 1 available M.2 slot for another internal NVMe SSD. There are also SATA3 ports available and a storage bay for two 3.5 inch drives in the bottom of the case.
The one small concern that I have is that some of the literature I’ve seen indicates that the maximum amount of memory you can expand to is limited to 32 GB. I’m hoping that this isn’t correct as I was hoping to be able to expand the memory to 64 GB. Most likely, I would never really need more than 32 GB but I would like the extra headroom in case I need to work with large data sets.
Overall, I’ve been extremely impressed with the Lenovo Legion Tower 5. In its stock configuration, it has handled all my tasks and gaming with ease. It’s been super responsive and super stable during my time with it. And I really love how it looks. I think it’s one of the best looking prebuilt gaming towers out there.
And the case is not only good looking but very practical. Since it uses mostly standard parts, it should also be very easy to upgrade as your needs grow. I can easily recommend this computer for anyone looking for a well-designed mid-tier gaming system that can grow with you as your needs grow.

It's a great machine on several fronts: Its build quality is excellent, it runs fast, it is extremely attractive, and it is built for expandability, with cabling already installed and ready for additional 3.5" and 2.5" SSDs/HDDs.

I was in the market for a new system that could multitask smoothly and after looking at different systems out there i decided on this Legion. I had enough performance to handle business and gaming. I was pleased with the price and how balanced the system is, as well as the ability to expand and how quiet the system is even under load. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a budget friendly performance pc.

Gaming computer that crashes when trying to play games. This is more a review for Best Buy than anything else though. CPU didn’t work for its intended purpose. Lenovo was willing to have me send it in to repair it under the manufacturer warranty. Since it was brand new, that feels like paying full price for a refurbished unit so I decided to just exchange it for a new one with Best Buy. Best Buy agreed to ship a replacement to be delivered the next day but then it didn’t arrive. 3 days later I get an email saying they cancelled the replacement order and will send me a refund so I can buy it again. This was a birthday present for my son who was excited to get it all set up only to run into issues that should have easily been resolved by Best Buy. They decided to make things difficult. Now I’m just returning it for a refund and will buy it from somewhere else. I’ve honestly never had a great experience with Best Buy customer service and they didn’t do anything to change my opinion this time either. Will never buy anything else from Best Buy.

When I first set my eyes on the Lenovo Legion Tower 5, I was instantly captivated by its sleek design and robust build. The storm gray finish gives it a modern, understated look that fits perfectly with my gaming setup. Unboxing it was a delight, and the inclusion of a wired keyboard and mouse was a pleasant surprise, saving me the hassle of hunting for peripherals. From the moment I powered it up, I could tell this was a machine built with gamers in mind, ready to tackle any challenge thrown its way.
Equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processor, this desktop truly shines when it comes to performance. In my experience, it handles everything from the latest AAA titles to intense esports games without breaking a sweat. The processing power is evident in the smooth, high FPS gameplay, giving me a competitive edge. Whether I was exploring vast virtual worlds or engaging in fast-paced multiplayer matches, the Legion Tower 5 delivered consistent, lag-free performance.
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card is another standout feature that took my gaming to the next level. The visuals are stunning, with lifelike details and vibrant colors that immerse me in the game. I noticed a significant improvement in the quality of my virtual environments and the fluidity of the animations. For creators, the GPU also offers impressive capabilities, making video editing and rendering tasks faster and more efficient. It's a true game-changer in every sense.
One aspect that truly impressed me was the cooling system. Gaming desktops are notorious for getting hot and noisy, but the Legion Tower 5 stays cool and quiet even during intense gaming sessions. The high-performance air cooling system and meshed front bezel work together to keep airflow unobstructed, ensuring the CPU remains at peak performance without overheating. The whisper-quiet operation means I can fully immerse myself in the game without any distracting fan noise.
The design of the Legion Tower 5 is both functional and stylish. The battlestation-inspired chassis with its enmeshed front bezel not only enhances airflow but also gives the desktop a unique, commanding presence. The toolless panel is a nice touch, allowing easy access to the internals for upgrades or maintenance. It's clear that Lenovo put a lot of thought into the design, creating a desktop that looks as good as it performs.
Setting up the Legion Tower 5 was a breeze. The quick start user manual provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and I had everything up and running in no time. The inclusion of a power cord, wired keyboard, and mouse meant I had everything I needed right out of the box. This thoughtful inclusion makes it a great option for gamers who want a hassle-free setup experience.
In my opinion, the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 is an excellent choice for both casual gamers and enthusiasts. It offers good 1080p gaming performance, stunning graphics, and a reliable cooling system, all housed in a stylish and functional chassis. Whether you're looking to dominate in esports or lose yourself in the latest open-world adventure, this desktop has you covered. It's an affordable machine that delivers on all fronts.

I am very pleased with this computer. It was well packaged. Included the computer, keyboard and mouse and power cord. The HDMI cord did not come with it, and this is something I feel should have been included. I used one from my old computer.
I love the look of this computer. One side is clear and shows the inside of the machine. It does not light up, which is something my older machine did, but not a deal breaker. The computer has some weight to it, for a strong sturdy build. The keyboard is not great, it is a hard plastic which I feel will crack and break easily. The mouse is flimsy as well. For such a nice computer, I feel the keyboard and mouse could have been much better.
When setting up computer, it was very quick and easy. It took mere minutes. No delays or lag time going through setup.
This computer is mainly for playing our Sims game. This is a household favorite. Everything was set up quickly and easily. The speed of this machine is amazing. There was no lag when playing the game, which was refreshing. I have other games, which also worked well. The speed is a winner, very fast. I highly recommend for games. So far, no issues. I love it.
