Great laptop

The laptop is excellent. I do miss my old laptop. This one replaced. However, they no longer sell that version. It does act weird when it needs an update; it will turn off or freeze. Once you update, you are fine. It is fast, and the screen is bright and wonderful. I enjoy the keyboard on this one and how it sounds when you are typing. I do miss the two-in-one functionality of my last laptop as well. I was disspointed when i found out a pen will not work with this laptop. It handles my schoolwork with a breeze. I find myself pulling it out more often, as it is smaller than my last and much more portable.
I have not had an issue with it getting hot. I have been on it for about 5 hours, and it is okay. The battery life is nice, and it charges quickly. The sound is excellent; I have not had to connect my buds yet. It took a while to update when you first set it up; that could be due to me transferring everything from my last laptop. Overall, it is an outstanding laptop, and I greatly enjoy it. It looks great as well and is very portable and lightweight. I can not speak for gaming as I have not played any games on it yet. Setting up and transferring the setup from my last computer was easy, except for the amount of time it took for all of the updates to go through. The backlight for the keyboard is also bright, and you can see all the keys. The start-up is a little slower than I am used to, but not so much. It's aggravating; it's just something I notice.

Good value creator laptop

Bought this as a creator laptop at a value price, and I've been really pleased at the way it performs for HD video editing. Build quality feels premium (love the all-aluminum case) and the keyboard feels superb. Battery life is a definite improvement over my older Dell XPS. It comes with a beefy (140W) power adapter, to power the Nvidia GPU. It will accept smaller USB-C PD chargers but will give you a warning. Display could be a tad brighter overall, and I wish the memory were upgradeable, but I'm okay with that.

The device has excellent battery life and good build quality. The screen brightness is great and the color accuracy is on point. Noise is very minimal but the fan does turn on with basic use sometime but that's normal.
The laptop does saty cool and you surely can feel the cold metal when you pick the laptop when not in use.

If you were able to grab this unit on sale, it's a no brainer.. It's fast, fluid, efficient overall. The screen is vibrant, touch, and fluid at 90hz. It gets amazing battery life, over 9 hours of office/web browsing/youtube use. The GTX 3050 may be long in the tooth but this is the newer 6gb version with the core count of a 3050ti and it shows, it's a faster than usual 3050. The fans are even tolerable to what i'd consider quiet even under max load while gaming. The keyboard deck always remains cool to the touch under load - this is one of my favorite Lenovo machines overall.

I got this to replace a Dell workstation laptop that only got 3 hours of battery life. I use it for CAD and office apps. It is very light, very nice and premium feeling and is faster than my old Dell at 1/3 the cost. It can also run games for when working out of town. Screen is nice.

Best windows laptop I've ever bought.

This is probably the best windows laptop I've ever owned. The design is very sleek and clean and not "gamerfied" despite being capable of gaming.
It has a 16:10 resolution at 90hz which is incredible for me. Super clear display at 2560:1600. It has a modest GPU but it works for most games besides cutting edge games.
Keys feel good, touch screen is nice, and the best part is the price when on sale. Very few laptops compete.
I only wish it had thunderbolt ports, and the ram isn't upgradeable (slim form factor obviously), but you can upgrade the drive easily. For the price though, I really can't complain much.

I got this open box fair and they must have marked it wrong because it said $413.99!!!!! I jumped all over it. Got home worked great went to go into bios….it was locked. I brought it back because open box gets same warranty as brand new. They ended up switching it out for one but the peice for fair was now marked $680. So after some moments the mangers said ill do everything in my power to see if i can just exchange n boom!! Reciept printed. Got that one that for even exchange. They asked me to sit down n make sure its not bios locked. It wasnt. But what they didnt notice is this one’s ssd was upgraded to samsung pro 1tb. I ran out the store!!!!Thank You Best Buy!!!! Gaming is amazing. Better than xbox one x!! Absolute steal. I capped games at 120fps and screen res to 1200p so that when its plugged in it eoesnt drain battery also. If you exceed then u will lose 1% battery every min. Great Open Box Buy!!!!

Great laptop that packs a punch with a decent battery life. Expect only about 8-9 hours if surfing the web/ watching videos. The keyboard feels good although the little feeler knobs on the keys are not noticeable. I lose my position on this board quite a bit but I'm still getting used to it.
I wish the screen came a little less glossy. Fingerprints aren't much of an issue but the reflection is a bit of a challenge.
I play league of legends, world of Warcraft, counterstrike, and other graphically similar games and I get over 100 frames on close to max settings. Also, I edit videos on Devinci resolve with very minimal issues so far.
Don't skip this one if you want a hybrid work/gaming rig.

I bought this for my daughter for school and some light gaming. I set it up and began to do my usual debloating of unnecessary programs. I also put steam on it and put it through a few test. I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of a 3050 card. This thing surprised the heck out of me. It played the games i teat very well. I remember Hogwarts Legacy on high 1440p settings was getting around the 70s in fps whichis really good. The sound on this thing seems like alien technology, because something this small shouldn't sound so good. I think the screen is very sharp and beautiful. I am highly considering buying another one for myself. Its between this and another i saw with an iled and a 4060.

Great laptop with solid battery life. It will last me 2 days of work without a charge with battery saver on and lower brightness. It's lightweight and small which is excellent for portability. All metal chassis makes the laptop super solid. 10/10 for me

Picked this up for college. Really cant complain. Works for gaming if you need. Can average most games about 120 fps on low settings. No trouble with adobe editing sophware. Screen is amazing. Cant say i use the touchscreen much but thats just me. Ive had problems with lenovo hinges in the past but as long as you treat it right you should be fine. Went through a small window of creaking but its gone now. Figure it was just the hinges settling. Looks like a macbook at a 4th the price and 4x the power. Love it.

I think this laptop works well overall. The design feels smooth and sleek, the display colors are vibrant, and the fan doesn't turn on often. When the fans do turn on, they're not too noticeable. It runs games like Minecraft decently, though it can't handle higher-end shaders. Coming from an older Asus laptop, I have no complaints about this laptop's battery life- it lasts long enough for me, and the battery charges up rapidly.
This laptop includes some features like motion-sensing and a camera shutter which are pretty useful. When you walk near the laptop while the display is off, it'll turn back on, and the camera shutter offers an ease of mind privacy-wise. Also, I don't use the touchscreen feature often, but it works smoothly, and the screen is nice to the touch.

Ok so I’ll get straight to what the people want. Yes this laptop is well built like most Lenovo products and well worth it. The 2.8k ips screen is wonderful like no other, could it be better yes if it was OLED with the super blacks. But I would still settle for this screen without thinking twice about it. The key strokes are nice and buttery with a nice slight travel. When the say slim that is exactly what you get. I haven’t had it long enough to speak on battery life or if the laptop runs hot. I will update my post in a week or two. AMD normally gets pretty decent battery life, but the Nvidia 3050 might cost a slight hit in battery. Honestly for what its worth if you can grab one do so because this item will be rare compared to the intel models. So far I love it and would purchase again if needed be.

Great battery life comparted to AMD U version CPU

I was deciding between this computer and one with an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U. The reviewers always added from 3-4 hours for the U-based version in battery tests. I got both and did my own for how I'll use this. Mostly office-type stuff and the web. That said, still wanted a more powerful cpu this has with the graphics card for video and photo editing. Turns out on power saving config this laptop for my needs lasted as long as the U version. So editing vids and photos uses more battery but I'll proably be at a desk with a monitor and power supply so no issues there. Best of both worlds.
Also a great machine but it does weight 3.5 pounds not the 3.3 BB has on this site. It's all good. the power supply by the way is a bit big but charges with 140 watts so crasy fast. I use a 65 watt one for travel that works ok too. the other laptop had a OLED screen which side by side looked better but this one is still great so no worries on that. Plus the U cpu's so far don't have USB 4.0 so without that and now Thunderbolt AMD is limited to what can be connected with only low speed things.

Solid build quality and great IPS screen. The Ryzen 7735 is paired nicely with the RTX 3050 for a well-balanced laptop that can handle day-to-day work and light gaming at full resolution. Ultra fast RAM and a fast SSD mean that the machine operates quickly and seamlessly under most conditions . Battery life is also good considering the power and weight.
