I had a 10 inch tablet from a different before this one and was absolutely miserable because the other tablet was woefully underpowered. This tablet is at the absolute opposite end of the spectrum. It is completely responsive with multiple tabs and applications open. The screen is crisp and bright with perfect graphics and the sound is acceptable.

This is a great tablet for reading books or some basic apps. I really was looking for something to watch movies with when I travel for business. It is lacking in being able to download larger movie files but when I download from my phone onto an SD card it is able to be played on the tablet from the SD card. Graphics are good but not great.

I bought this tablet because I was upgrading from an older Lenovo I purchased three or four years ago. It has worked very well. I needed the space to download files for research.

    Great BUDGET Tablet

This tablet is great for what it is: A budget tablet. Don’t forget that. Yes, it’s a tablet that pushes the limit on specs that blur the line between budget and high-end. But in the end… it’s a budget tablet. With that in mind I rate it 4+ stars. I bought this tablet purely for light productivity purposes - emails, web browsing and late night/bedtime reading. Pros: - 10 inches under $200 - Screen quite good. It’s clear, sharp and vibrant. No, it’s no Samsung Galaxy Tab S screen, but then again $180 vs $450. Actually one con for me here is that the screen is super bright! I do a lot of night reading and browsing, and even if I turn the screen brightness all the way down, it’s still too bright. But that’s something I can live with. - Minimal bloatware – Hallelujah! – This is the primary reason I did not end up buying a Samsung Tablet. Their use of bloatware has gotten out of control. I even looked at Apple tablets, just to get around the Samsung bloat. - It’s pretty responsive and quick on videos and games. I have had no problems watching YouTube videos (as others have reported) and playing games has been smooth. As a reference, the only real game that I play is Hay Day, and it plays pretty smoothly (although the touchscreen sometimes acts up – see cons below). Either way, Hay Day runs smooth, and the battery holds up to this battery-hogging-game. - It’s light and well balanced. At first, I felt its weight/lightness was a negative, but after using it for a few weeks, I have come to see it as a plus/positive, especially in light of the quality feel that it has combined with the lightness. I have put a portfolio style case on mine. - Battery life is great so far – I get about 16 hours of total use, while 3 days of standby gets me to 40%. I use my tablet about 4 hours a day and 4 hours of tablet use, uses about 25% of battery. - Microsoft Office is pre-loaded (is this a pro or con?). I have used Word on this tablet and it works just fine, but there is no way to take advantage of this program without a separate keyboard (and mouse), neither of which I plan to purchase. - Wifi speed is just as good as any tablet that I have had. I have “standard” wifi in my home with up to 4 people using it on most occasions and I get no lag, etc on this tablet. Cons - In my opinion the speakers could use improvement. If you turn them all the way up, they get more than loud enough to fill a small room while watching a movie. My comparison is to my last Lenovo tablet ($400) which I only needed to turn up halfway to get room filling sound. Either way, the sound is more than adequate and again… $180 - The biggest true “con” (and why it get 4 stars from me): the touchscreen is definitely not responsive to the level that it should be. Simply put, about 50% of the time when I am browsing the web, I have to hit a link multiple times before the tablet reacts. Sometimes, it moves on the first touch, but a lot of times it takes multiple touches. Whether it’s $180 or not, this shouldn’t happen (my opinion). - Nitpicky con – the volume buttons and the on/off/wake button are on the left side /middle of the tablet. It’s a nitpick because I guess I got used to the buttons being on the right side and on the top. I will/can get used to the button location. All and all, it’s a great budget tablet that I highly recommend, based on my limited experience. I can say that if you expect high-end performance (speed, lag, response, screen, etc.) then you should get another tablet (and expect to pay at least double). Oh yeah... I bought 2 of them and they both are working well.

I own ipads but I wanted another tablet that was cheaper just for the sake of it. This tablet is great. It is 10 inches and it's super light. It is fast and the display is really nice. The speakers are pretty loud too and it has a lot of great apps as well. The battery life is excellent as it doesnt drain quickly. It doesn't overheat and the price is good for a tablet that does everything you need to do. Video quality is great too as it isn't laggy and also the display is nice.

It's been 2 days I bought this tab. Its a superb 10.1" HD display. Pictures are pretty sharp. Sound ia very good to fill a room. Battery is holding up pretty nice with moderate use. Still at 50%+. It is very light weight as well. It's not as smooth as high end tabs like iPad and Samsung ones. But it does the job for watching youtube/netflix, web browsing. I played Need for Speed No limit and there is no lag. Con - The only issue is it has Android 7 which is not upgradable to Android 9. Netflix cant be upgraded to latest version as it doesnt supports Android 9. So may be some apps which might not run on Android 7. All in all, this is a good entry level 10" tab for general use, worth the price point. Wish the android version could be upgraded to 9.

That pretty much covers it. It has good sound, is lightweight, a decent screen, and an energizer bunny when it comes to battery life! That is the main reason I bought this tablet, because of Lenovo's touted battery, and it's come darned close. I'm a heavy media consumer so it's important to me to have to ability to go a full day on a charge. You can't go wrong. Just buy yourself a good case to keep it protected.

Purchased for my wife after my experience with a Tab4 8 which I've enjoyed. This has not only a bigger screen but also more memory in its updated form. Fast responding, good picture quality, works well for streaming. I might even buy another for myself.

Definitely 10x better than the Amazon Fire 7 & 8 tablets! More responsive processor in the Lenovo, comes with more storage, battery lasts a long time and secure kids account with many apps to choose from. The only complaints I have for this tablet is the screen/resolution, 1200x800 IPS, quality is not that good and DDR3 RAM/2 GB!? 4 GB/DDR4 should be the minimum in tablets now...Overall my daughter enjoys it and I don't mind it for quick browsing on my account. Good product.

First off this is a great tablet. I did have some minor touchscreen issues that I noticed when I first powered it up including onscreen keyboard issues however once I ran the system updates the problems went away. You need to run the system updates once you power it up and have a fully charged battery. There were 3 updates for my tablet. Once I installed the updates to the firmware and operating system updates the tablet worked like a champ. No more issues with the touchscreen now. The tablet comes installed with Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system and mine upgraded to Android 8.1 (Oreo) after all the updates completed. The battery life is rather good with the default screen brightness under 50%. I had it running for several hours with still well over 50% power with minimal touchscreen use. The cameras aren’t the best compared to most cellphone cameras nowadays but they still do an OK job for basic use. The on-board dual speakers audio quality isn't too bad considering the size. There is also a standard headphone jack that will work with a cellphone headset with a microphone for audio recording. Also there is Bluetooth available for a Bluetooth keyboard, headset etc... Overall I recommend this to anyone looking for a new tablet that doesn't want to spend a lot of money and with 32GB internal storage there is adequate space to install some larger apps.

I looked at budget tablets for months before deciding on the Lenovo - Tab4 10. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I wasn't trying to buy anything that needed demanding hardware but wanted a good screen, decent sound, and a long lasting battery. The battery is the best feature as it seems to last forever. I can literally go for days on a single charge. The screen is really nice, especially for the price range. and the speakers are some of the best I've heard on a tablet.

I bought this to replace my 2 1/2 year old Samsung Tab S 7" screen. I was looking for a bigger screen along with regular updates. My Samsung hadn't had firmware update in over a year and some of the apps were disappearing due to this. Was very disappointed with the Samsung due to this fact. The Lenovo seems to be a good tablet for the price and I bought a 128 GB Micro SD card on sale to add space for music and photos. So far the tablet it working great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 was because my Samsung was HD and the picture was not as sharp, but good for what I needed.

Got this for my 86 year old mother. She does a lot of reading on her cellphone (newspaper, google search, email) and needed something that would be easier on her eyes. This tablet is light and fast enough for these purposes, had a quick learning curve for an andriod user and was considerably less expensive than the Samsung or Apple equivalent. She used it to borrow an ebook from the library and it turns out to be a very nice ereader. No regrets on this purchase...thinking of getting one for myself.

I use this tablet for all my online need s. Facebook, shopping, email, and anything else that comes up. It does an excellent job!! If I am typing a long email or writing a page-long item to save on a memory stick, I sometimes regret not having aphysical keyboard, but those are not everyday things. Having a great tablet with lots of memory IS an everyday BLESSING!! I also have trouble getting the timer/alarm function to set the alarm time correctly, but I didn't get it because I needed an alarm clock. I am happy as is.

Speedy and lightweight. I purchased this as a replacement for an older Lenovo tablet (that I passed on to my wife). It took a few hours to get used to the new layout but it was worth it in the end. I added a 64GB SD card as I watch a lot of videos. I use my Tab4 to surf the internet and of course read emails. This is a great buy. As some may have mentioned, there is sometimes a delay between the tap on the display and a response, but I use a stylus and this eliminated this problem in my case (Your mileage may vary). Do yourself a favor and purchase a case for this tablet. Your tablet will thank you.
