This laptop is surprisingly well-built. It is very compact while still has 14-in screen. There are 2 USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4, 1 USB-A and 1 HDMI. You will never have to worry about the ports. This laptop is very snappy and its cooling is very efficient. There are couple things that most reviews have missed: _ It has USB-C charging and battery by-pass, which means it will not use the battery while plug-in, hence increasing battery's longevity. _ Intel XE graphic is surprisingly good. It is integrated graphic but it can run all games at a playable frame rate if you turn down graphic setting. _ It has built-in function to limit charging your battery at 80%, which helps to prolong battery life. I am really happy with the purchase.

This is a good overall laptop. Its great to do office work and web browsing. The display is good enough to watch movies and the speakers are decent. I really like the typing experience on this laptop (I think lenovo has the best windows keyboards) and the fingerprint scanner.

I ordered a stone blue color Yoga 7i(14 intel) laptop for my sister as a gift who is in India I sent it through my friend. But I came to know that the laptop is not in stone blue but in two different color shades that my sister did not like at all. But I cannot even return it or exchange it. sadly, it is in India. However, Battery life is good(more than 10hours)

Dropped it and it was almost 85% the purchase price to replace it. I wish the product specs were good enough that I could try fixing it myself, but the secondary market for Lenovos isn't that good. You can see the costly 1.1K dent in the picture below less than 1" in length.

    In Love With My Yoga

I was deciding between a Lenovo Yoga, Samsung GalaxyBook and a Dell XPS. What I wanted: (1) Lightweight so I could lug it around to conferences; (2) 13-14 in screen; (3) Amazing battery life; (4) a great typing experience (a keyboard with a great key feel and response); and (5) I just wanted it to look cool like a Mac, which my colleagues have. I ended up first purchasing the Dell XPS 13. I loved the way it looked, it was super cool liking and so lightweight! I had a problem with the keyboard in that the color scheme I got made it hard to see the keys even when lighted, but I was willing to put up with it until three days into using it, it went utterly dead. Dead, dead, dead. So, it went back, back, back and I turned back to the two left. Obviously, I ended up choosing the Lenovo Yoga. It is WONDERFUL! First, it is lightning fast. I have another decent Lenovo laptop with an i5 and I can tell the difference with the processors even though the other specs are practically the same. Second, it is not as light as the XPS but it is super easy to haul around because of the fact that is built so beautifully! The chassis is gorgeous. A smooth metal feel and the edges are rounded, so I love to hold this laptop, or carry it, or simply run my fingers over it. I have never felt this way about a laptop, so I find this behavior odd and interesting. Third, the battery is fantastic. I have it off the charger for hours and it keeps up with me. It is hard to find a Windows laptop that can do this. I would have been happy if this was it, but then there is the fifth reason I love this laptop: it is such a joy to type with the keyboard. It has increased my writing output so now I send unnecessarily long emails and write very wordy reviews simply because I love typing with this keyboard. The clicking sound is so satisfactory and the feel of the keys is perfect. I am very happy my XPS died on the third day. I hope you enjoy this computer as much as I do.

IN LOVE! I am very picky w/ my tech. and I did more research than I care to share haha. For once, I have zero things I would change about my laptop, it fits my needs and wants to a T. ** I use this for light gaming, heavy graphic design, and heavy normal use. I have many windows open and programs at a time and never am slowed down. **** PRO's - great battery life, low fan noise, low heat, lightweight, fast, love the keyboard/touchpad feel and placement. **** CON's - Honestly, I haven't found any yet, but I will keep you posted, have had this for about a month or two and use it on a daily basis. I wouldn't return this if they gave me double.

Most Honest Review of the Lenovo Yoga 7i – Only 3 days in Keep in mind I’m only three days into my new purchase of the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14, but so far I’m really impressed. After returning my M2 Macbook Air Last October, I had been in the market for a new laptop for quite some time, and the Yoga was always something I was considering. The no touchscreen on the Macbook Air simply wasn’t cutting it for me, which is why I ended up returning it despite my relative investment in the Apple ecosystem (ipad pro m1, iphone 12 pro, airpods pro) My model: i7 1255U, 16GB DDR5 Memory, 512GB SSD Performance: So far, the performance has been great. Not sure if it’s the marketing gimmick, but the evo certified i7 CPU is quick and extremely responsive in ways that my desktop isn’t. For quick tasks such as opening your apps from the taskbar or simply interacting with the Windows UI, it’s a very snappy chip that has yet to disappoint whatsoever. The 16GB of DDR5 memory is also impressive here, and I’m able to keep dozens of tabs open on Microsoft Edge without any hassle. Definitely think the upgrade was worth it in this sense, 8GB just never seems to cut it these days. Display: One of the best features of this laptop, and is Dolby Vision certified. It has a really nice looking and glossy 2K resolution that looks great from writing documents to watching Netflix–you can definitely notice the upgraded resolution in this sense. I’ve heard some complaints about the display being too glossy, but I prefer it over a matte finish because it feels nicer to navigate on when in touch mode (although it can become a fingerprint magnet at times). Keyboard: Keeping this section short and simple. The BEST laptop keyboard I’ve ever typed on. When I first tried it, I was shocked at the switches’ tactility and it was honestly a bit harsh but I’m getting more used to it. Trackpad: Not the best. One of the few downsides of this laptop. The material feels nice, but its touch sensitivity could be improved. Battery Life: Also, not the worst but could be better. I’ve been using battery savings mode on Windows 11 which has seemed to mitigate some of the battery life issues I was initially having. I believe Lenovo advertises over 10 hours and I’m just not sure that’s accurate for my workflow. OVERALL: Great laptop, 2 in 1 functionality is awesome and feels really polished with Windows 11. Stone Blue color is also awesome and would recommend!! 4.5/5 overall.

I recently acquired the Lenovo Yoga 7i, a 14" 2-in-1 laptop in Stone Blue, and it has been an absolute game-changer for both my work and personal use. The 2.2K touch display is stunning, offering vivid colors and crisp details that make every visual aspect from movies to presentations look fantastic. The Intel Evo Platform with a Core i7-1255U processor paired with 16GB of memory ensures that this laptop handles multitasking effortlessly. Whether it's running complex software for work or streaming media, the performance is consistently smooth and fast. One of the standout features is its 2-in-1 capability. The Yoga 7i easily transitions between a traditional laptop and a tablet, adding a level of versatility that is perfect for my dynamic needs. The touch screen is responsive and enhances my interaction with various applications. Additionally, the 512GB SSD offers ample storage space for all my files and contributes to the laptop's quick boot and load times. The design is sleek, and the Stone Blue finish gives it a unique and stylish look. Battery life is another strong point. It lasts through a full day of use, which is incredibly convenient for someone like me who is often on the move. In summary, the Lenovo Yoga 7i has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, versatility, and design. It's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a powerful and adaptable laptop.

    Fantastic Laptop, Minor Annoyances

Overall, I absolutely love this laptop and would recommend it to others. It looks nice, it feels nice, it's responsive. The touchscreen and stylus work great (buy a Lenovo Active Pen for it). I should note that I took the time to "downgrade" it to Windows 10, as I'm not quite ready to make the jump to Windows 11... I was able to find all of the drivers after digging around the Lenovo website/doing some googling. Windows 11 is probably fine though, I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you're experienced with computers. First, the cons. First annoyance: WiFi range is not as good as a macbook. It's great if you're in your home/apartment, and the wifi router isn't far away. No issues with connection stability, nice and speedy. BUT! In public spaces, there have been multiple instances where my signal is too poor to work, while someone next to me is doing fine on their mac. At least my laptop is faster than theirs and I paid less, I guess? Annoyance 2: If you close the lid when the laptop is charged, then put it in your bag, don't expect it to have a charge the next day. I don't know if this is a Windows problem or a Lenovo problem, or somewhere in between. But if this laptop has been unplugged for awhile, I can't rely on it powering on without plugging it in. Even worse, if the battery has been depleted, you can't even plug it in and immediately turn it on. It will turn right back off. You have to let it charge for a few minutes first. So if you're a student or work from home, and you want to hop out of bed in the morning to send an email... It will annoy you. You have to get used to plugging the laptop in and then going to brush your teeth or get some breakfast BEFORE you can use the computer. If you actually shut down in the start menu, before closing the lid, it should help. You just can't pick up where you left off. Back to the good stuff: cheap dongles with passthrough charging and extra HDMI ports work great on this thing. I can fold it down into "tablet" mode to draw on it with a stylus, plug my main monitor into the HDMI port, and plug another dongle with wired internet, an additional monitor, mouse/keyboard, and a power adapter preattached, and use this laptop across 3 screens very comfortably at my desk in seconds. It's a fantastic setup, and that dongle was maybe $20? I picked up another Lenovo charger off of Ebay to leave at my desk permanently, while I keep the original in my laptop bag (the generic chargers will die on you, get a used name brand USB-C charger). Annoyance 3: They put the power button RIGHT where I like to hold the laptop when I pick it up. So if I'm moving to my desk, or moving away from my desk... I accidentally hit it all the time. And I've been using this laptop for months. They either need to make the button more "noticeable" (it's so smooth you have no idea your finger is on it), or they should move it somewhere else. If I could give it a 4.5/5, I would. I'm not disappointed in this laptop at all, it's just not perfect.

Exchanged my Macbook Pro 14” M1 for this unit, 14” 7i Yoga core i7 unit which came at the recommendation of Best Buy. This was an open box unit, so some degree of skepticism, but risk I was willing to take due to the Lenovo brand name. So far, so great! The Macbook Pro 14” M1 was overkill and frankly overspending. I would never use that kind of power and I’m finding Macs to be boring. Lack of intimacy with no touch, pen and little flexibility. Limited App Store where everything largely must be bought. This Lenovo unit is smooth, responsive with a reasonably good screen. Less quality than the M1 14”, sure, but solid nonetheless. The unit has a 10 months of remaining warranty and I am considering extending. Keyboard is great to include brightness options for backlit needs. I love the door for the camera, but it would have been nice to have 1080p, however for the price, I understand. 512gb SSD which is in the pocket for my needs. Surfing the web has been great with the EVO 12th Gen core i7; movie watching was splendid. Snappy with opening apps; no speed lost with having numerous windows open. Have yet to experience any speed dragging which is great. Don’t understand a prior battery life complaint ..for PCs, this is solid. Haven’t pushed it full tilt, but I am tracking around 9-10 hrs of battery life (at 50% brightness, set at mid-level performance). Only Apple truly delivers to advertised battery life….I’m quite pleased here. Solidly built, all metal body, nice blue stone color. Keyboard keys are great to includes what appears to be a glass surface trackpad. Speakers are descent, not great, nevertheless effective. Dolby Atmos works superb (far better than my experience with the Samsung Book 2 360 Pro). Fingers crossed my experience remains this positive / fully expecting isuch. Nice unit, Lenovo!!

Pretty solid little machine, well-built chassis and nice smooth hinges. The keyboard is ok, not as good as Thinkpad keyboards but still decent key travel. Good selection of ports with 2 thunderbolt 4's and a full size USB which is becoming a rarity. Speakers are surprisingly good with 2 top and 2 bottom firing. Battery life is pretty great. I get anywhere between 9 and 13 hours depending on the task. The only improvement i'd ask for is a screen to be a tad brighter as this has a 300 nits display which is adequate indoors but a little dim when working outside, but it's still acceptable and delivers crisp, punchy colors.

The sleek design, coupled with the 2-in-1 feature, has added a new level of versatility to my computing experience. The 11th Gen Intel Core processor ensures snappy responsiveness, making multitasking a breeze. Looked at several 2 in 1 laptops to replace an older Dell. Researched Dell, HP, MS Surface, Asus and Lenovo. Some brands had good features, but overall, the Lenovo 7i 14 inch laptop had the best overall combination of features I desired. A 2k screen, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 2 in 1 functionality, and good battery life. I am still getting to know this device and Windows 11. I am pleased with the laptop’s quick startup, nice screen (wish it was a matte finish), battery life and portability. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am having some issues with an active pen (Bamboo Ink Plus) writing smoothly. I don’t think this is the laptop’s fault though. If you are looking for a good 2 in 1 that won’t break the bank, consider this one!

Was looking for a halfway decent laptop for my daughter who start’s college this year. I usually stick with the bigger name products but after doing some research, this sounded like a good buy. Glad I did - very light, extremely fast boot up, massive battery life, plenty of bells and whistles. All for under $1000, which is unheard of given the specs on this laptop. Daughter loves it. Great purchase. Would highly recommend.

I got this laptop after trying a Lenovo Yoga 6 ryzen. I returned the initial laptop and got this as the i7 processor is amazing. Between the speed, the display, and overall battery life - this is a great laptop! I'm used to Macbooks and Thinkpads, so this is my first Yoga, but I love it and could not recommend it enough.
