I love this product, beautiful & stunning , work great, however the screen made of glass, so it is delicate. Beautiful & sharp image. This is my 2nd one, I returned the 1st one due to cracked screen in less than 6 months, and best buy/Lenovo couldn't repair, they refunded me to get another laptop. I bought the same kind and still using it after 2 years. But I alternate using this one with my other laptop, used a lot when working remotely, big screen but thin & light compare the similar screen size.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i has so many great features and is reasonably priced. The 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1185G7 processor is great. Love the touch-screen, the Dolby sound bar is great for watching movies, and the ability to flip and fold my pc to tablet or tent mode are some of my favorite things about it. Would highly recommend this pc. Best of all is that it's light weight at less than 3 lbs!

This is actually a system we purchased to replace my wife's desktop PC that finally died. I researched small, lightweight laptops in the 12-14 inch display range. Our criteria: had to have a touchscreen, needed to be as capable as a desktop when docked, had to have a good battery life, needed to be Windows-based, and preferably would be a 2-in-1 convertible system. Candidates were: Dell XPS-13 2-in-1, HP Spectre x360, and (discovered late) this Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 2-in-1. The HP Spectre led the race through most reviews, but I confess that its angular "gem-cut" design didn't appeal to me--the sharp edges didn't seem to be there for a functional reason, and I believe that form should follow function. The Yoga 9i 14 is a fast system. Love that its stylus is always there, tucked away in its charging hole. The keyboard was pleasant to type upon (though perhaps louder than my own google pixelbook). So far, no complaints from my wife. The system is lightweight, has a solid battery (got the Intel Evo Platform Core i7 - 16GB with 512 Gb SSD and Mica style), and appears to be fast and stable. The track pad is very smooth, accurate, and pleasant to use. Cons: no IR camera for facial recognition unlocking, but this was minor for us. Only the two USB-C ports (and the headphone jack), but his is probably enough with the right Thunderbolt dock. Note: the web cam privacy shield is really subtle, behind the glass. You have to look very closely to see where one can physically toggle it with ones fingernail.

This computer is a hot rod! Bought it from my daughter and she says her Minecraft Frames per second is off the charts! It was easy to set up, has both touch screen and the included stylus (stylus is a little flimsy) has it's own storage right on the laptop! Really a nice, thin, light machine with tons of battery life (but not quite the advertised 15 hours)

Okay so I am coming to this from a Razer laptop, and the two things I love about this laptop are the keyboard and the battery. My biggest issues with the Razer laptop were the terrible battery life there, and the spongy keys. This laptop is perfect, as its small and transportable, as well as very springy keys that feel so nice to type on (I do wish the keys didnt have a grey on grey kind of color pattern, as it can make it difficult to see sometimes). Its got a good processor and its got decent memory, nothing spectacular on the storage, but it gets all my basic tasks done. I can actually game on it, but mostly story related stuff that doesnt require super high specs. All around, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I have always like Lenovo products

Great 2 in 1 convertible laptop. I have had really good luck with Lenovo in the past. I have a Dell 15.3, i like it, but i wanted something more portable, lightweight, fast, nice keyboard layout and well made. The Lenovo 9i with the Intel Evo Platform i7 is almost perfect. I read the reviews prior to buying and a few criticized the feel of the keyboard. For me the keyboard is perfect. I am usually running 2 o3 3 MS Office programs at once and have 6 or 7 webpages open and it never hangs up and is speedy. So I love this laptop. I would have given it 5 stars except there are is one feature i would have liked to see included and one feature that needs improvement. Would have liked to have seen facial recognition instead of fingerprint for secure logon. I have facial recognition on my bigger Dell and love it...however, the fingerprint works fine. The thing that needs slight improvement is the mouse touch pad. When you want to move the cursor you have to get your finger very close to the left lower corner of the pad or it lags a bit...it is ok but not super. Otherwise this is a great machine. I got it on sale for 300 dollars off and haven't seen that sale again. So for the features i got, i7 1085, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD, EVO platform it was a great buy from Best Buy.

Thank you for choosing the Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. If you continue to have issues with the touchpad, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

I just purchased one of these on 12/16/2020, so this review is based on first impressions. I have been searching to replace my desktop for a while, and wanted to stay with a windows machine, but really desired a 14-15" laptop. I wanted a high quality unit, that was not dated the day I purchased it, felt substantial and was under $1400. The Lenovo Yoga 9i hit the sweet spot. I was immediately impressed when I unboxed the unit, Unlike most comparable laptops it was shipped inside a neatly packaged box, that was inside the shipping box. Very classy in appearance the box also served to provide increased protection. Startup/setup was a breeze and after removing McAfee there is really no bloatware left to deal with. The unit is all metal and feels every bit as high quality as my wife's Macbook. Maybe better. It is seriously fast and I love the keyboard and the touch screen. Everything just works as it should. My only knock is that there is a shortage of USB connections with only one USB-3 and 2 USB-C, nor does it have an HDMI port. This will not be an issue for me, and you can always use a hub, but it might be for some folks.

I got this open box for like $600 and what an amazing machine. It's a beautiful design, the screen is gorgeous, keyboard is a pleasure to use, it's thin and fairly light. Even though it's last year's model you will not regret. And if you get open box, you get a premium machine for the cost of an entry level laptop. You can't go wrong.

I both love and hate this laptop. I purchased about 5 of them in order to get one that worked properly. The reason I went to all that effort is because it had all the specs I wanted, was lightweight, had a stylus included, great sound, super fast, beautiful and solid casing, and a fantastic screen until it wasn't fantastic. Basically the biggest issue with all the Yoga 9i's I tried was that in full screen mode the top or bottom of the screen would have ghosting issues where the top 2-3 inches would flicker and the picture wouldnt catch up the rest of the screen or would just freeze. I called lenovo tech support and they were pretty useless. I may return #5 as well, as yesterday I started getting the screen issue again. *insert crying emoji*

We are sorry to hear that you are having screen issues with your Intel Evo-Certified Yoga 9i-14, model number 82BG000CUS. Since you say the issue has occurred across five different Yoga 9i-14 models, be sure any software you are installing is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

This lenovo laptop deserves a 5 star rating. Best buy not so much. First the computer - well built (FAR better than lenovo's I've owned a decade ago), FAST, bright screen, good (great) battery life, and excellent sound. Now - as to BB - FAR more difficult to deal with than my purchase should have been. Was sent to a 2nd store after purchasing in Cedar Park, Tx and then FORCED to wait 30+ minutes for my computer - and - the staff had an attitude in the Georgetown store.

Had to replace my beloved Yoga 900. After 4.5 years the trackpad started to act up. Had been my most dependable laptop to date (and I have had them since they were first put on the market). Bought two C940s and returned them due to a faulty control key for one and a non-operating USB port on the other. Was disappointed and started to look at a Dell Inspiron and HP Spectre. At the 11th hour I stumbled upon the new 9i. Bought it on the spot even though it had less than a handful of reviews. Like it better than the C940: it is faster and has better battery life. I find the display quality excellent and for my daily usage see no difference with the 4k offered by the C940. I use this laptop mostly for business. It has everything I need. It is great replacement of my Yoga 900 and hope it will last 4.5 years as well.
