Excellent burning capabilities. Burns all types of media such as blu Rays, DVDs, and CDs very well. Comes with a lot of software too that can be used for burning and/or watching these types of media mentioned above.

The drive was very easy to install and works perfectly. I would have preferred if it had LightScribe, since so far it has been nearly standard on LG drives.

I wanted a blueray to use with my system. the software on this product is complex and commading but also needs adjustments. Geeksquad helped me after initial install at bestbuy. Still need to adjust volume and settings with various blueray discs. Also, need to address a command everytime I turn on the computer, which I will eventually take care of but is a bit annoying.

This was a great investment for my computer plays movies great I have not burned bluray yet so I am not sure how quick the process wil be

Easy to install and extremely reliable. The bundled software installs quickly and is very reliable.

These burner provide very quality Blue Ray copies, I have some concerns about the speed but in general is very good product.

Off to a good start. Burned 20 DVD's at 16x without a single failure. Have not tried the M-Disk yet.

My trusty NEC PC DVD internal drive died on me after many years of service so I needed a replacement. This drive rips my CDs to the HHD much faster than the previous drive and I think with better accuracy. I am also impressed by the quiet running. I have read on many reviews on several sites about various brands and models of drives (including LG's) that numerous complaints pertain to drives being too loud. Not so with this one. The unit comes packaged with a short SATA cable (I think it was 18") so bear in mind you need to measure ahead of time the distance from rear of the drive in your PC to the SATA connection port on your motherboard. You may have to purchase a longer cable if your connection is longer than 18". Also included in the package is a DVD driver software and some screws to attach to the drive bay. I did not need the screws as my case utilizes quick release drive bays. Yes, you pay more for these cases but they are sooo user friendly and convenient.

Purchased this item to back up family and vacation videos! The included software makes basic video editing very quick and simple!

Blu-Ray burner that can burn BDXL discs for $100. Got it on sale. Got the burner because I did not have one and wanted something that would work on multiple formats. Installation was a snap and Win 7 recognized it right away.

This LG ELECTRONICS USA, INC. - 16x Internal Blu-Ray Disc Double-Layer DVD� RW/CD-RW Drive installed with ease and the drivers also installed with no problems. My first movie back-up went smoothly and I did not get confused like I normally would. I would give this product five stars.

I was in desperate need of an external Blu-Ray Disc DVD RW/CD-RW Drive. So when I typed that this in; to my surprise, this popped up and I failed to look at the full description and automatically ordered it. When it arrived, my husband told me I could not use this and I needed to return it. So thankfully the store had exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this for my computer so I could play Blu-ray and it was quite an easy switch... I would recommend this product as it has lasted me 3 years now and it's still going strong and I hv had no problems with it whatsoever...Very satisfied.

Replaced a standard DVD/RW drive after catastrophic failure of the old drive. This was the perfect replacement and the full software package is great. I haven't used it a ton, but have had zero problems. Fairly quiet and works perfectly in my custom PC case.

I would recommend it to a friends it is good quality it does what it says it does.

Haven't had a single issue. Nice drive and comes with all hardware and cable plus some software. Nice looking face and super quiet drawer motor/mech. Would buy another.

The Internal Blu-Ray Disc Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive was a great buy. It was easy to install and now I'm able to play my Blu-ray disc on my computer. It also works great to copy my dvd's to my computer.
