We were in the market for a new over-the-range microwave when the handle broke off of our old one and the replacement handle was obsolete. I had just got a gift card for Best Buy and decided it was a perfect opportunity to look for a new microwave. We went to the store rather than looking online to ensure we got the right size/fit that was within the budget of the amount on the gift card. We had some requirements on what we wanted so the sales rep pretty much left us alone to look. The LG had a sleek design and nice features as well as being reasonably priced. It was easy to install and the templates it came with to assist with the install were quite accurate. We haven't had it long so I do not know all of the features but one thing that is nice is the hi/lo light setting. Also, it runs quiet and the 4 fan settings make it easy to regulate the fan noise and fan powered needed. It looks amazing and so far I love it.

I put a sweet potatoe in a 12 year old microwave, folded laundry and found smoke filling my kitchen and my microwave was fried. I bought this one because it matches my range/oven and the features it has. It was easy to install. My husband & I did it alone! It is very attractive and I love the dark inside. It has 4 speed fan, but whatever speed you shut it off, is where it is when you turn it on (strange feature). I am 5'2" and I can not see inside the microwave while it is cooking unless I stand on my toes. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is I don't think it has a one touch button for 1 min, 2 mins, etc, which my old one had and a feature I used all the time. It is a very nice appliance and getting it on sale was even better.

I purchased this unit so I could co.plete my kitchen with all new and matching appliances! I am not disappointed at all with everything this microwave can do and I am still learning about more things I can cook and use this appliance for! The display is very easy to read for my clock and I love how I can open the and with a quick reference quite for cooking, reheating, softening butter, and so many other things! I was shocked at the metal rack inside the microwave as I have always been told no metal in your microwave ovens but there has been no issues using it! So far we have made popcorn, thawed out meat(quickly), softened butter, and so many other side dishes!!!! Plus I love the black stainless look and the smudge free finish to keep the outside clean!!!

I love everything about this microwave. Rated excellent by consumer reports I decided to get this one and am glad I did. I like the sensor cooking/reheat option which I have used and it makes my food hot. The fans is great; however, I don't know if i'll ever use the high setting. It really blows a lot of air. Lights good, energy saver option to turn off the clock is great as I already have a clock on the oven below the microwave so I don't need 2. Easy clean interior is great too. I personally don't care about the dark door not being able to see in. I've always opened the door to stir or whatever anyway. I probably won't use the rack but it's nice to have just in case. The installers had to do some light carpentry to get it installed, but that's my cabinets being the issue not the microwave

We've had this microwave for a couple of months now and it works great. This microwave is quiet and has a powerful fan (the fan is a little noisy which is to be expected). I love how easy it is to clean, however I do wish it was fingerprint resistant.

In terms of performance, very good. The ``cheat sheet'' for settings on the frame are helpful and useful. I miss the express settings -- hitting `1' or `2' for instance for a 1- or 2-minute heating cycle -- on our old GE. One MAJOR concern already, just two weeks into use, is that the numbers on the touchpad are already rubbing off and disappearing. (See photos: the ``2'' is half gone and it's supposed to say ``4 Speed'' under the word Vent.)

We have had this product for two months. This microwave is both better looking and quieter than our old microwave, and has comparable features. We got this on sale at a great price.

I was thrilled to find a brand new open box LG black stainless microwave. I had been shopping for one for at least 4 months to upgrade our kitchen appliance suite. I got one of LG’s best microwaves for the price of their entry level ones. Love it. Convenient purchase online and pick up at store. Super helpful employees, too. Can’t beat a great product at a great price with great customer service.

The LG over the stove microwave is Top Notch quality! Virtually fingerprint proof and never really gets food splashed inside. Easy to clean. With 4 teenage sons, it’s a miracle. Love it!

I am um'd and rrr'd about awarding this 3 or4 stars Overall we are happy with this purchase but in the end I deducted two stars because 1) Per the photo attached there seems to be some kind of recatangular 'residue' mark on the stainless steel above the display obviously left by a sticky label at some point. I suspect it is somehow under the print proof stainless steel coating as it will not come off and the surface of the coating seems smooth. You only see it at a certain angle when the light shines on it a certain way. I do not want to try cleaning it any harder in case I damage the print proof surface so now I try not to look at it :( 2) If you look at the picture of the door the see through window is the smaller inside light grey area. It is very small and set quite high when the Microwave is mounted above the counter top. I am 5 feet 5 inch tall and even standing on tip toe struggle to see through the window when I am trying to see how a plate or cup is reheating. 3) Related to point 2) the clock is not easily viewable since the actual display digits are set back maybe an a half inch behind the front glass and relatively small. To see well you either need to be looking at it straight on which is a challenge unless you are 5 feet 8 plus or up close with your kneck cricked back which is uncomfortable. 4) The lighting on the bottom could be better and seem to generate a lot of heat so inefficient energy usage. Other than that the only other comment I would make is it does not seem as 'solid' as my old GE one which lasted 20 years. When you open and close the door the whole thing seems to shudder and I worry at some point it will fall !

Simple to use. Best Buy geek squad did a fantastic job with the installation. The product is easy to use and elegant looking.

This microwave replaced an existing microwave that was malfunctioning and it matches with the new range purchased. Easy to use and easy to clean. The touch pad is sensitive and fun to use. I have used the microwave for a casserole, cooking swordfish and reheating many dishes.

It looks very good over the oven. Black stainless is very sleek looking (not to dark not to light). As far as the function of the microwave it’s a microwave. But the warming element is by far the strongest I’ve dealt with. I’ve dealt with quite a few brands. Definitely recommend this unit.

This microwave has a lot cool presets that are not very hard to use such as, melting chocolate and softening butter. It hears food up quickly. I love it! Looks great too! Wish it had a quick minute, 2 minute button. And like other reviewers said , the light is really low. Can’t even tell it’s on. That’s why I gave it a 4 star.

I love this microwave! I was surprised at how fast and evenly it warms things up! Love all the features! Matches my new LG convection range perfectly!

This was the last appliance for my newly renovated kitchen. Bought the LG range with dual oven at Best Buy, along with a Samsung French door refrigerator. I wanted to match the handles of the microwave with the LG stove and researched all models. Bought this microwave and my husband installed. Clean lines and very attractive. Got lots of compliments on it, especially how sensitive the buttons are to touch. I love the energy saver feature (LCD readout only lights up when in use) which is fine since the microwave is mounted over the range and the range has a constant illuminated clock. Love the "30 second" button, too. Quiet operation. Now if I can only get my husband to stop touching everywhere but the handle!! Very pleased!!

I've had this microwave for a month now, which means I've used it a couple of hundred times. I've used a lot of the features and they all work. I've made some messes and it's very easy to clean. It was worth the money.

Love my microwave no complaints easy to use purchased with my other LG appliances and they all look and work great!

Great looking microwave and functions as it’s supposed to. Install went smooth as I had a range hood removed and this microwave installed. The installers were quick and professional. Sleek look and great match to the other LG suite appliances I purchased.
