Soundbar and wireless speakers

Sound cutting out

Contacted lg support and they recommended returning the product to lg. No way since it was brand new. I did get a call from lg product development and they said it was a firmware issue and the fix could be downloaded and then uploaded to the sound bar, but I had already returned the product for a Sony sound bar.

Not a good sound bar

The sound bar kept intermittently pausing and it would make a loud whining sound when it did work. I had to turn the sound bar off to get it to stop. It also turned off on its own for no reason.

Good Sound

I don't have any mutes, as mentioned in other reviews, despite using the included optical audio cable. My previous soundbar was a Visio, and it had a loud static cherp any time I started playing 4K content from the TV. It also wouldn't sync with the the TV, so I had to use either the soundbar or the internal speakers exclusively. I don't have any of those sound issues with this LG soundbar. It paired perfectly with the TV and sync'd automatically so that I can use it in conjunction with the internal speakers.
