Great unit and it is very loud! Very easy to set up as well. Phone always connects easily and so does the tv. Only complaint is that the subwoofer seems like it drops off momentarily constantly. My friends that come over instantly asked me if it was supposed to do that so I gather from their response it must not be normal. I kind of thought maybe that was something you had to deal with when having a wireless subwoofer.. maybe not. Also I purchased a open box item and I did not get all the contents and they did not provide me with any form of complaint or request for the missing items which was the cable and bracket hardware.

My new LG sound bar works perfectly with my LG 4k television. While I know there are better sound bars available, for the price and quality, this is a great buy from Best Buy

For the money spent on it I am very pleased with the product. It enhances my movies and gaming experience to another level from my old Boston Acoustic computer speakers were giving me.

Out of the box, plugged it in and it worked great.

My TV sound was good for TV type programs but for the quality movies it was clearly lacking. So, I bought the sound bar. It would only take the provided fiber cable (not the Monster high quality cable I already had) which was disappointing. It was pretty easy to set up, configures itself. The sound is really great even for movies now. The woofer on the other side of the room is wireless and also configured itself. Another reviewer doesn't like the speaker facing out and I agree that ascetically it is not as appealing but it works and was not expensive. The sound is slightly slower than the TV so I have to mute the TV. Now I must use two remotes, one for controlling the TV and one for the sound so it is not a convenient as having the sound come from the TV. I think if it had been able to accommodate my Monster cable there would not have been a problem.

I noticed this soundbar was on sale for under $150 and decided to research some online reviews. They were pretty good overall so decided to see and hear it at the store. It sounded pretty loud in store and it was cheaper ($129.99) than the Weekly Ad price so decided to give it a try. Very easy to setup. Only one INPUT via digital optical cable from your TV. Used it to watch a movie and we were pleased as it's better than just the TV speakers. A couple of negatives I need to point out. First there's no volume indicator or way to tell how loud it actually is. Second there's a way to sync the speaker to turn off once you turn off your TV but there is NO DOCUMENTATION included on how to do this. I'll have to research online how best to set this up.

This is an amazing product that has many great things about it. The subwoofer works great, providing an excellent partner to the sound bar. It works with Bluetooth so you can connect any device straight up to it (Including any phone that provides Bluetooth). The soundbar has 3 different default settings that you can use: Standard, Voice, and Cinema for whatever your needs may be. The remote is able to adjust the subwoofer level, change the function of the soundbar (Whether it be bluetooth for a device, optical straight to your TV, or portable). The sound is amazing, providing excellent clarity and volume. I bought it out of box for around $130 so it has exceeded my expectations for how inexpensive it was. The set up was very easy, and I decided to mount it to my wall which was also with much ease.

I purchased this sound bar around Christmas. It was out of stock at the store. I ordered it while in the store and was able to pick it up several days later. It was easy to install and the wireless subwoofer connected with the soundbar immediately. It was great that I was able to use my TV remote to adjust the volume on the soundbar. The sound was a world of difference compared to the sound on my 55in flat screen speakers, which were not bad. I loved the different choices for sound and the subwoofer has great base. 300 watts really brings out the volume. This is my first soundbar with subwoofer and I very pleased with its performance. Can't do better for the money. I removed my old surround sound system.

I purchased this LG to replace a Samsung HW-J450 that I returned for lack of bass and settings issues. I like to hear the bass when the situation calls for it, action movies, video games, music, and the Samsung just didn't have it, even when bass and sub volume were maxed out.This LG unit is rated for the same 300 total watts and it sounds like they actually use them. I also noticed the subwoofer itself is a similar size to the Samsung but weighs twice as much as if it is built with better components. The soundbar is a bit bulky and lacks an LCD display for feedback, instead it uses a red LED that flashes when you change a setting, but not a deal breaker. Settings are limited and the remote is cheap and boring compared to the Samsung, but I look past all of these for the much improved sound. Let's face it, we buy a soundbar for the sound not the remote, and the LG makes some really nice sound. Oh and its cheaper too :)

I was looking to upgrade my sound from my Toshiba TV speakers. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and didn't want wires running everywhere. This sound bar looked to be the one to work for me. The sales associate recommended JBL at 3X the price of this unit. After listening, I felt the sound on this was good enough. I bought at $199 on sale, which later this unit went down to $139. For that price, this sounds excellent!! It really enhances movies and sports. I would recommend this product for sure.

This was a gift for my girlfriends dad for Christmas and boy did he love it. The sound is rich and the bass is deep. He was partying like a rockstar for New Years. The best part was the price on Black Friday. This is a must buy if your looking for some umph without getting a full 5.1 system. I would recommend this for a bedroom setup.

I was looking to increase the sound on my new LG TV but with limited funds. This one did the trick. It was affordable, easy fiber cable TV hookup, and great sound quality. It comes on when the LG TV is powered on and volume adjusts with TV. Not surround sound but great substitute.

I spent quite some time doing researches before buying this sound bar. I ended up purchasing this one on sale, at a great price. With so many positive reviews, I thought it would definitely be a good deal. I have owned this sound bar for about 2 months now and I am very happy with it. If you are looking for an affordable way to improve your TV sound, this is it! This is not comparable to a full home theater experience, of course, but it offers decent sound, at a very reasonable price. I honestly think no other option at this price range beats this bar. The wireless sub-woofer is definitely a plus and gives flexibility on where to put it. Also, set up is easy and, since my TV is also an LG, it connects well with the bar and makes is very simple to use. Bluetooth is also another plus, if you want to play sound from other devices. I recommend it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Since I didn't know much about audio, I read many reviews before I purchased this one. It seemed to have the best reviews for a very reasonable price. My husband seems to be really impressed with the sound and it was simple to set up. He's very pleased and so am I.

Was looking for a soundbar to add some better sound to my living room, and I found just what I was looking for at a great price. More so, the set up couldn't have been easier. Just plug in the soundbar to the TV and the wall, and subwoofer connects automatically. Way better than my TV's sound, highly recommend it!

This is my first sound bar purchase. I have no talent for or interest in setting up a full sound system. My wife has no interest in additional wires running around the living room. This seemed a good choice for upgrading our audio and we have been pleased with the results. Set up was easy and quick. The sound is very good, a nice improvement over the TV speakers. It has worked pretty well as a speaker for my phone via bluetooth when I want to listen to some music. The only things keeping it from getting 5 stars are the fact that occasionally the bluetooth connection is a little glitchy. Mostly at the beginning, and then it seems to work pretty well. The other problem is when it occasionally decides not to come on. It's a rare problem, but sometimes it doesn't want to come on. It will work with the Apple TV, but then not for the Blu-Ray player when switched over, or vice versa. Typically I have fixed that by turning everything off and then back on. Not the end of the world, but not something I prefer to deal with. Almost 5 stars. Almost.

I compared this Soundbar to several others in a store, some costing three times as much, and kept coming back to this one. It just sounded better to me, and BTW, I'm pretty knowledgable about audio. Turns out this model is last year's and was discounted even more, although I had to wait a few days to get one delivered from another store. I have a Samsung tv and thought a Samsung Soundbar would integrate better, so I had had two of them before, but they sounded boxy and didn't even integrate well. Anyway, I got this unit home and not only did it sound great but if worked very well with my tv, much better than the Samsung bar. And the sound--this was the first value priced unit I've heard that really sounds good, not at all boxy but very big and open. I think the reason it may be so cheap is that it only has an optical input, no hdmi. But, if you can use it, I can't recommend this unit highly enough.
