We’ve had this LG fridge for about two months and we like the space in it and how it keeps everything cold. The freezer could have a bit more space but overall love it. Reason we gave it 4 stars was because the InstaView door latch sometimes doesn’t click and the door will not close. When that happens we have to gently hold the door shut and will latch on. We’ve contacted LG and now just waiting for a technician to contact us so they can come out and fix the issue. We’ve been waiting a few weeks now and due to the pandemic it might be a while. Overall we would recommend this LG InstaView fridge to family & friends.

We needed a new refrigerator for the condo we were moving into and it had to be counter depth. Best Buy is my go-to for open box items and they did not disappoint. Got this for almost half the original price just for some minor (to me) cosmetic damage. Best Buy delivered it on time and the install went well. The refrigerator works great and we are loving the door in door feature and a lot of the features as well. There is ample room for what we need.

Really debated on the "knock knock" feature - everyone told me I'd get tired of it. NOT! It's fun, and it looks awesome on the front of the refrigerator. We put milk, iced tea and soda mostly in the front door, and it's nice not to have to open the whole refrigerator to retrieve those items. So far it's working great, and we are very pleased. We bought the "counter depth" which does decrease the drawer space, but there are only two of us, so it's plenty of room. And as far as the freezer, it has enough room also. The "counter depth" is also nice for us as we have a very small kitchen, and the refrigerator takes up less room than the larger one we had.

Even though I only had it a short time - I just ABSOLUTELY love this fridge!!! From the glass door that you can tap on to see what is inside to the separate ice and water dispensers - it is just absolutely perfect for me and my husband. The fact that it is counter-sunk (meaning that it is not as deep as some of the full sized fridges) is perfect for me as I'm not very tall and have short arms - I can reach everything in this fridge. I also feel nothing will be 'lost' in the back of the fridge the way the shelves are set up. The deep drawers in the the freezer are great for organizing your frozen foods. Like I said in my summary, this is a great fridge for a couple or a small family. It has just enough room for the amount of food we purchase and keep on hand. If you have a large family or tend to buy a lot of food then you might want to go with the full-sized of this style of fridge. The side panel (for choosing ice or the temp of the fridge) is very easy to operate and see as it lights up at a touch. When you tap on the glass door it lights up to show you what is in the one side and is great for storing drinks like tea and soda or what ever you reach for on a regular basis. I put my lunch for work in it so it is easy to grab the next morning. The door with the ice and water panel has a few shelves for condiments, but they are too wide so some things like pickle jar or large jars of jelly wouldn't fit. This is not a problem for me. If you purchase this fridge, keep in mind that you will have to plug it in and let the temperature get cold before you run water through the dispenser. Otherwise, it pretty much is a plug-in and start using once you have it delivered. I added a couple of picture before we got it home as you can see they pack it well. I did get the black stainless even though in the one picture it looks like regular stainless. I like the black stainless as it matches better in my kitchens and seems easier to keep clean (just wipe with damp cloth). I think if you purchase this fridge you will be very happy with it.

Counter-depth refrigerator looks fantastic in our new kitchen. Love the beverage door that opens separate from main door at the push of a button. We were surprised at how much we appreciate the width of the upper half of the refrigerator despite the smaller depth. We can easily view all of the contents and if necessary, can place a cookie sheet onto a shelf because of the ability to open both doors at once. The bottom drawer freezer is fantastic. So happy!

Great fridge, has lots of space and great design, best

This is the coolest refrigerator we have ever owned. The knock knock feature is really a cool feature to show off to company but I’m the only one that really uses it. It’s very nice looking and is working great.

This is the best refrigerator we have ever owned. We love all the features, especially the see through door, and all the pull out trays. You can see all the food without having to move everything around. The freezer has so much room, and three trays to organize the food .Wonderful purchase!!!

I needed a refrigerator that was spacious and modern for my kitchen and this one made the cut! It’s roomy and comes with drawers, which is one of my favorite features. I definitely would recommend.

I am an LG refrigerator fan. This is the sixth that I have bought and by far the very best. I couldn't be happier with it!

This instaview, French, door-in-door exceeded my expectations. The black stainless steel is a beautiful finish. We could not be happier with this choice.

We bought our fridge at the Outlet but it was in brand new condition! It was delivered to us in the same condition we bought it and they set everything up for us! Been loving all the features!

I purchased this refrigerator after many months of pondering whether to buy this brand or another brand. My final decision was based on a discussion with my sister who works for an appliances repair company. So far I haven't experienced any problems after reading and following all the written directions. The ice maker makes plenty of ice. My food, especially the produce and dairy items, are staying fresh longer. No problems with the instant door features. The counter depth has less space than a regular refrigerator, but performance is still top notched. I'm happy with the purchased.

This is a beautiful refrigerator. Perfect for our house. We bought the counter depth because in our old fridge stuff kept getting shoved to the back of the shelves and then I'd discover unidentifiable things. I love the instaview door for coffee cream and my water bottles I use for hikes and the gym. There are just two of in the house and the size of the fridge is perfect for us. The freezer has a deep enough space to keep my iced tea popsicles (peppermint tea makes THE BEST popsicles ever.) Also room for some chicken, beef, and sausage, and a loaf of bread, and frozen fruit and veggies. The installer showed me how to use the water dispenser, which is different from my old fridge. The delivery team was punctual and thorough, so no complaints there. The door is stainless but I just wipe it off with a dish cloth if it looks spotty, but it isn't like it's hard to keep clean. We have an open floor plan and the kitchen is behind the great room, so I was thinking about the noise factor, but this refrigerator has not been a problem at all. i love this fridge. It's stylish and exactly serves my needs.

After 30 years our old GE stopped making ice. So we spent a year looking for a suitable replacement. We had a problem that the space the old frig was in was not easily expanded. So we had to narrow our search to a counter depth. We love the ice and water on the door and the door in door option. Checking consumer reports and Googling french door refrigerators i ended up at the Best Buy site. Best surprise was that they had it on sale. We went to the store and looked at all the french door refrigerators and decided on this model, had the features we wanted, fit the space, and we were able to delay the delivery so we had time to prepare. The Best Buy delivery, instalation team was great. They handled every challenge professionally and courtious. They installed the new water hookup line and moved the old GE to the garage, yes it still works. Great product, great service, great experience.

Our household just acquired the LSFXC2496D french door refrigerator and so far it is performing to our satisfaction. My immediate concern being reliability issues with all LG refrigerators using their "linear compressor" technology which are failing at very alarming rates. Other concern is the refrigerator compartment will not go any lower than 28 degrees fahrenheit no matter how low you adjust the temperature via the membrane pad. Freezer compartment on the other hand is adjustable in temperature as validated by using a thermometer. My finally concern is LG will not provide either service manuals or part numbers for any of the components with their refrigerators. This is a extremely expensive appliance and after the warranty runs out I want to be able to source replacement parts to replace myself. This is a refrigerator LG...we are not attempting to send a man to the moon so fix this if you want better reviews. If LG monitors all these reviews they will see that the weakest link is still their "sealed system" along with their linear compressor which still to this day are failing at very alarming rates

We love this new counter depth refrigerator. The Insta-View door is wonderful! It holds a gallon container easily. We keep butter, condiments, a gallon of orange juice, and coffee creamers in this section so they are easy to get to. The fresh vegetables and fruit stay crisp quite a bit longer than our previous GE Profile side by side refrigerator.

So far, so good! We love our new fridge! The knock feature door in door we use for the kid's snacks so they aren't constantly opening the entire fridge. Know that the amazing solid piece drawers are NOT available in a counter depth model....nor is the glide n access shelf. Despite not having these two features, we LOVE it! Tremendously more space than a side by side model. The lower freezer drawer is great with its shallow middle drawer, great for freezing berries, broths etc!

The design is good. Look nice and beautiful. The InstaView is a fancy function but it turns out we rarely use it. This refrigerator has a big door in door storage bin which you can put 2 1-gallon milk. However, the cold air is easily gone when you open the door often and we found out that the milk stored in door-in-door bin easily get sour. We have wasted many 1-gallon milk there.
