My family likes this fridge, especially my wife she hated having to bend down to get to the vegetable drawer now she can access everything in the fridge without bending. The cooling is great keeps stuff fresh! It also sounds an alarm when the door has been open for too long which is a good reminder for me when I stand there for too long trying to figure out what I wanted from the fridge. It has good capacity and it’s not loud like our old fridge which used to startle me sometimes and make me think there’s an intruder in the fridge. It also looks good!

This refrigerator has afforded me to keep vegetables and fruit fresher longer I do not have a problem with things freezing in the back of the refrigerator it stays cold and everything is great I have room for all the food that is fresh I love the deli drawer makes things so much easier to keep separate the meat stays fresher in their my sandwiches as well as Cheese's don't go bad as fast as it did with my other the freezer part is even better because it gives me more room and storage for at least two weeks worth of groceries for me I can set a Pizza Flat without having to put it on its side which is the biggest thing for me and I love it I don't have any frost on the sides it's easy to open easy to close I just absolutely love it.

Like the looks of it and it keeps even temperature throughout. Some drawn backs such as lower door shelf useless. Too small to get any bottle in it. Also the vents on the crisper drawers should be flat without the knob. Also would have like to be able to split the middle shelf to raise on one side only. My Brita pitcher barely fits. I can put up with these draw back and otherwise really like the refrigerator. Love the pull out freezer and the upper drawer. I did not connect the ice cube maker as I have no need. Picture is the best I could do in my space.

It's quiet, spacious, and makes tons of ice. It's my first ice maker and I love not fussing with ice trays. It fits the space perfectly and extends out only slightly more than the 18 ft fridge it replaced. I got a great price because it was a returned item but it was in perfect condition. Elena in Appliances at the El Cajon store was super helpful and went out of her way to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Thanks El Cajon Best Buy.

I am still training myself to minimize the amount of time that I spend admiring the interior of the " fridge" everytime I open the door. One of the first things I did was place a refrigerator thermometer at eye level so I could quick check the temp. Love the bottom drawer freezer. It is always the same !

Overall, this is a great refrigerator/ freezer. The only drawback I have found so far is the fact that stainless steel really fingerprints terribly. Also, this is the first time I've had the bottom drawer freezer, clearly I didn't think it through very well. It's impossible to know what you have in that freezer. I think I prefer the top freezers where you can see what you have better. Haven't had a chance to read my instruction manuals yet, and I'm not sure if the ice maker has an automatic shut-off or if it will keep making ice until it spills over. Will look into this soon!

Very impressed with this LG Stainless Steel Refrigerator Model: LDCS24223S. The refrigerator space is very easy to access with one large door. Provides multiple adjustable shelves and vegetable/fruit/deli drawers. Bottom freezer is also large and easily accessible. Great value compared to french door refrigerators while offering more utility. Very quiet when refrigerator motor is operating. Nice interior lighting. I strongly recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a large capacity model.

Lots of space for a small opening

We've had this fridge for a couple of months now, and we love it! Even with remodeling, we could not make the space for the new fridge wider, only taller, and this fridge fit perfectly while giving us a fresh look and lots of usable space and is an excellent value! We switched from a side-by-side and are very happy with our choice. The ice maker started off slowly, but now it keeps up with our demands, and you don't lose all that space from having a door dispenser. It's super easy and convenient just to pull open the bottom and grab some ice. One drawback is the lack of space for tall items. This took a little getting used to. Only the top shelf of the door will fit any tall standing items. I've learned to just lay down items I wouldn't have before. I do wish there was a little extra support in the middle of the glass shelves, but it has held up fine. Hopefully, it will continue to hold up for years to come. There is really a ton of usable space in this fridge/freezer. Everything is working well. The new fridges sound different from older ones because the compressor is different, but the noise is not a problem. We're in a tiny space and if it doesn't bother us, it shouldn't bother anyone.

Superb in every way: use of space, energy efficiency, lighting, visual design, function. Use of space: Love the bottom freezer. We don't use the ice maker, just store ice trays there. Movable divider to allow separation of frozen foods to your liking. Two-tier roll-out shelving in freezer allows lots of room for everything. Storage in fridge door is maximized. Holds all our beverages, wine, salad dressings and condiments. Cute little storage tray on the bottom is great for quick-grab snacks and treats. And love the butter tray in the door-large enough to hold lots of butter and cream cheese. Full length deli drawer is awesome-nothing gets lost in there because you can see it all. Interior glass shelving is spacious, and veg and fruit drawers are not as deep as fridge but I like that since nothing can get lost. Energy efficiency: Love that the freezer is on the bottom, makes so much more sense in keeping things cold since heat rises. You can get rebates for energy efficient purchase and recycling your old fridge so take another $100 off the asking price with both those rebates. Lighting: You can see it all, folks. Love the LED lights. Visual Design: This is a pretty fridge. We left the plastic on the front of ours to keep the fingerprints down. Sounds tacky, but the plastic is actually see-through and you can hardly tell it's there. We took it off our freezer before realizing that you don't have to clean the doors as often if you leave it on. Mrs. Meyer's works good for cleaning (we got the stainless steel one). Stylish rounded grab bars to open and close the fridge take a good grip to open. Function: We really like that there is a digital thermostat. When we got it we kept temp at recommended 37 degrees, but since we use shelving for extra storage we increased it to 38. If you start increasing it, but want to go back down, just increase all the way to 42 or 43 and it resets to a lower number. We called the LG hotline and they walked us through that smoothly. Also we like the "alarm" that lets you know the fridge or freezer door didn't close all the way. I say "alarm" because it makes a soft tone or beep, it's not alarming at all, more of a gentle reminder. We've had this fridge since November of last year and everything about this fridge works great. All in all, it's a five star fridge for a 4 star price. You can't get any better than this.

    Love My Fridge!

I have to make a disclaimer that the fridge this one replaced was over 20 years old, so probably anything would have impressed me. I've had this fridge for over 2 months now and almost every day when I open it, I say "I love my fridge"! This fridge holds a lot of stuff! I'm particularly noticing it with milk. I was a little concerned with the design of the produce drawers, because they seemed so shallow. However, I seem to be able to fit at least as much in them as my old fridge, and the meat drawer definitely holds more. The space just seems to be arranged more efficiently or something. I like the bottom freezer design--I'm able to keep track of what's in the fridge better when it's at eye level, and we've had less wasted food. Having a freezer at the bottom makes it a little harder with frozen foods, but I'm not in there as much as the fridge. The ice seems to have a slightly off taste, but that may be because the hose is new. Others have reviewed that it's noisy, but I haven't noticed that. The thermometer I keep in the fridge shows it's a degree or two warmer that what's shown on the panel, so keep that in mind. And it is a big fridge, so make sure you measure. Because of the way our kitchen is designed, that wasn't a big issue. Keep in mind that magnets won't work on the stainless steel front, but will work on the sides. Also, make sure you understand completely all involved in the delivery and setup, including hooking up the water for the ice maker. We ran into a little bit of a snag with that.

Bought this new fridge for our growing family. It has a plenty of storage in the fridge and having the freezer on the bottom is a great idea. I does have some weird spaces for storage that don't seem very practical but we managed to find items that fit in those spaces. It is very quiet but seem to make some heat that radiates out the back, but not a deal breaker. It is pretty big and spacious so make sure you can get it in all the doors and entry ways.

The upper fridge section is mostly spacious. The flat wide drawer at the bottom is great for deli meat and cheese and yogurts. The door shelves are deep and hold a lot. The light is bright so it's easy to see everything inside. It's hard to adjust the shelves because the door has to be open wide to be able to remove the shelf (which means pulling it out because the right side of the fridge is against a wall). My least favorite part of the fridge is veggie drawers because they are smaller than the ones in my old fridge. I really dislike the drawer style freezer. I wish it wasn't the in-style thing right now; I only got it because it was all that is available except for in small fridges. It's so inefficient to have drawers instead of shelves; so much space is wasted. Things get buried under other things so you can't see the stuff underneath. Why does anyone like this drawer system??? I also wish I'd waited longer for the white fridge, even though it would have taken a month longer because stainless steel is what's in fashion right now and better stocked. Stainless steel shows fingerprint smudges like crazy. It's working well enough though. Keeps my food cold. I've only had it two weeks so I can't comment on reliability, but when we did our research more people loved their LGs than any other brand; that's why we chose it.

So far we are loving our new fridge. We had to put some blocks underneath of it though, because every time we wanted to open the freezer, the entire fridge would come out with it. The only other thing we've noticed is that it is loud when filling up for the ice maker. You can even hear it when watching a movie in the next room. Not a real big deal to us though, but some might not like that. This fridge is a lot more spacious than our old one, and I love that all the bins are big and clear. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Nice unit but be careful where you put items in this refrig. Measure the temps with a thermometer and one finds out 3 degree different in some areas. Lots of space inside, we like the freezer on the bottom. However, this refrig shows fingerprints, kind of annoying to keep wiping them off (stainless steel front).

This LG bottom freezer stainless refrigerator was my first replacement frig for a 20 year old top freezer frig. I was skeptical at first choosing a bottom freezer frig and now I couldn't be more pleased with my decision on this one. Never knew how much easier it would be to have the eye level food door. No more bending over and stretching to reach items way in back. Takes a little getting used having the bottom freezer, but I do like it since I don't really have to use the freezer as much. I selected this model not only for it's nice style, it is also energy star rated. Runs pretty quiet too.

-seems to be a good value based on online reviews -attractive, great capacity for a small family -modern look but smudges easily and hard to wipe off smudges totally -good for short ppl as freezer is on bottom, which was kinda weird at first but now feels normal -don't need ice-maker or drinking water features in my household, so this item fits those needs -can't truly give 5 stars yet b/c the fridge was installed less than 2 months ago; but is operating well and I like it very much -Make sure it's set up properly so it doesn't roll out when you open it. -Handle must to be firmly shut but it beeps at you if door is open too long. -I wish it was magnetized so we could put our magnets and pics on it. But the empty look is sleeker and more formal, though lacking in warmth. No prob; we put our magnets on boards in the kitchen.
