After about a week of studying up on frig's, and talking with a Lowe's expert in that dept, I came to a conclusion that LG one of the few brands that stands behind their product and delivers an overall quality product. Between Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Samsung, amongst others, LG was the top brand to get. I nearly purchased a Samsung but then was told about frost in the freezer... people returning them for that reason... Frigidaire for having bad motors and stuff that generally goes bad. Now I have my LG and couldn't be happier. It's a SOLID unit. Great lighting, great cooling all over. There are no cold spots in the frig. The shelving is sturdy though I REALLY would have preferred spill-proof shelves. An auto-light in the dispenser area also would be a plus. You can either turn the light on or off manually, that's it. Our current main Kenmore Elite has a sensor to adjust automatically the lighting in the dispenser area. I personally wouldn't mind having wheels on the front bottom in addition to the back. It makes for an easier move to pull out and not scratch up the floor as we light to keep that area clean. Overall, still, the best frig out there is LG. This particular model we liked... getting a french door model really does take away some of the storage space with all the dividing compartments. Highly recommend.

Even though I made this decision on short notice it has been a great! I had only closed on my house just weeks before it had died. I wasn't anticipating replacing it so quickly but I was glad I went with this model. It wasn't crazy expensive , it has a lot of room, and I got 0% financing!

Love the space inside of this fridge as well as the tray that you can pull out to rest a water pitcher on while filling it, takes some getting used to for family and friends since the water comes out towards the front so you can easily fill glasses and pitchers that wouldn’t fit on most built in systems.

This fridge is amazing. So spacious in both departments. Easy clean up with glass and plastic. No way for any juice to hide in cracks. Kids can't climb the shelves(I have dare devils apparently)

Nice refrigerator tons of storage space and a nice sleek look

I walked in ready to buy a Kitchen Aid fridge but I after seeing the space and sturdy drawers of this LG, I was sold. I've owned it for almost 3 months; no leakage issues; great ice-maker; easy to clean; normal-to-low sound; shiny front-doors, but simple to clean fingerprints. Tiny-con: Tall items (like gallon of milk) will not fit up-right on the inner-shelves, but will on the door shelves.

Overall the fridge is easy to use and looks great. A few flaws and a large flaw should be looked before making an LG purchase. The water dispenser is not user friendly. My family and others that come to my home constantly spill water all over the fridge and floor. The idea of the water dispenser location is a good idea for large water bottles and such but it splashes EVERYWHERE!!! My other large complaint is, we didnt have any issues until the fridge was 2 years old. Then the water dispenser area starting cracking. Like someone smashed into it, but it just cracked out of no where. I had it replaced under warranty and 1 week later it cracked again. The pictures are what can be expected from the cracks. I let this one go for 3 months.. so it's really bad. But honestly, it cracking like this is unacceptable.

We wanted to buy a new fridge since we've had our last one for more than 6 years and it's old and wanted a updated one. We went and compared prices and quality and LG was our best bet. We really love our new stainless LG side by side fridge. Has a lot of good features too

I love our new LG fridge, it even has button lock for when our kids start playing with the ice maker or playing in the water dispenser, I've already had to lock it..lol

We just needed a basic fridge and this one was perfect. Looks sleek. Works perfect!

We purchased this one to replace a samsung lemon we ended up with. It was a french door with the freezer on the bottom. NEVER AGAIN!!! The insulation for the ice maker was horrible and it would constantly leak, and the ice would melt into one solid hard rock. In come this beauty. Love the design. I feel like its very spacious and the way the ice maker is laid out saves you a lot of space! Lots of gallon storage shelves in the door and as a whole I feel like there isn't any wasted space. The water dispenser is tall and I can fit my hydroflask with ease. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is because it is a little noisy. Not excessive but enough for me to notice in the other room if its quiet (which in a house with 3 kids that's hardly the case!). Overall I wouldn't hesitate for a second about purchasing this again.

This is easily the best, and nicest, fridge I’ve ever owned. The design allows for more storage, compared for other side by side refrigerators, and plenty of shelf space. We actually didn’t wind up buying a chest freezer, since all of our frozen meats and vegetables fit. It’s also very quiet. No more hearing a compressor like noise from the fridge at 2 AM. The water dispenser is a bit different, compared to others. It sits above the ice dispenser, and not inside the door. This leads to a bit of confusion from guests trying to use it for water, but once you know where it is, it’s not an issue. It’s designed to allow you the ability to fill a pitcher, or larger cup. This has been super convenient when I’m going for a run, and fill up my water bottle (never fit in the door on other fridges). If you want a lot more space for storing frozen or cold items, this is the fridge to get! We purchased the stainless steel model, and absolutely love it!

Two negatives the Best Buy representative warned me about with this fridge we're that it has no meat/deli bin, and the water dispenses out through a top valve instead of putting your glass underneath to get it like you do the ice. For the former, this is an inconvenience, as the top produce bin has effectively become the deli bin. For the latter, this is not a problem, and, in fact, is always a party gag. The purpose of it being where it is is to help with water bottles, which it does. When friends or family come over for the first time, we always watch to see if they'll get sprayed, which always happens. Therefore, this inconvenience to others actually works well for us because we use water bottles quite a bit, and it is entertaining. Everything else is similar to other fridges. One thing, it tends to be loud at times. Other than that, it is spacious, produces good-tasting water, and cools as it should.

I originally purchased a Samsung refrigerator but after having a bunch of issues, Best Buy offered to upgrade me through their Black Tie protection plan. This new LG has a bunch more room than my previous refrigerator, especially in the freezer with the in-door ice maker, I also love the extra tall ice/water dispensers. I do sort of miss having a deli drawer but not enough to go back to a Samsung. Pros: Lots of space In-door ice maker Extra tall water/ice dispensers Cons: No deli drawer Ice maker is not large (this is typical in side by side and french door models)

I was surprised at how much space this refrigerator has. It looks good on the outside too. The ice maker has a sensitive touch and the first few times I used it, I overflowed the container. But now it works well. There are two large drawers in the freezer for meats, etc. Other items are easily found on the shelves in the freezer. Temperature controls are digital on the door, so it is easy to make changes. There is even a chip so that in case of problems, you call LG on your smart phone and hold the phone up to the chip and they diagnose the problem. I'm glad I chose this refrigerator.

We have enjoyed this fridge since buying it back a few months ago. The ease of storage is great! We used to have the drawer freezer and everything got buried. This fridge allows you to find what you need in a smooth way. The design is nice and looks great in our kitchen. We also love the ice maker. You can pull out the reserve and dump in into coolers etc.

The LG side-by-side refrigerator looks great, is very spacious and we love the ice maker and the water dispenser on the door. It makes plenty of ice for us and our friends. the lighting is excellent and we definitely will tell all our friends about it, it's very quiet. We had a more than excellent experience with Best Buy they're very friendly very helpful and in fact we bought it a week before Labor Day and our refrigerator went on sale and they gave us the sale price they helped us load it. My wife is very happy with our purchase of the LG side-by-side refrigerator.

I have owned this fridge for a month now and absolutely LOVE it. It has a ton of space in it. We went from a 24.6 to 26.2 and there is a big difference. It can fit full size pizza boxes with ease. My main focus when buying was quality and space. I didn't like the ones where the ice maker took up half the freezer. Glad I got this one. Leaves me with more room in the freezer. It's quiet and looks good. I also love that the water dispenser area is larger for bigger cups/pitchers and the bottom part slides out to hold them!

I did my research in looking for a refrigerator. On-line, talked to numerous retailers, and checked consumer reports. Almost went with a "cheaper" model, and realized for a few hundred $'s more, I would get so much more. The water dispenser feature (allows for pitcher dispensing) is used a lot. Digital display is a must. LED lighting is 10X better then incandescent. The delivery personnel were professional and knew what they were doing. The front door to the house had to be removed to get the refrigerator in the house, and to get into the kitchen, they had to remove the doors of the refrigerator. They knew the model well, and were able to get the refrigerator installed back to how it was when it came off the truck. Took them a good 45-minutes to install due to all the obstacles, but they never gave up, and did a great job. The buying experience was phenomenal. The manager at the Best Buy where I purchased, knew his stuff. Never pushed me, and was very knowledgeable and helpful (5-stars to Scott at Best Buy). I did not buy the first visit, and when I did buy, Scott (the manager) was not working. The associate that actually sold me the unit, called Scott to ensure that I got the best deal possible. Truly satisfied with my purchase and the service revived from purchase to delivery. KUDO's to Best Buy....
