Solid monitor with fantastic image quality. Be aware that the stand on this specific model tilts and turns but does not raise/lower. It also does not have internal speakers, USB-C input or the ability to act as a USB hub -- those features are included on step-up models. The included HDMI cable is bulky so use your own for a clean look.

I purchased this monitor as an open box item. Everything that was in the original box was in this box so i didnt have to purchase anything extra, This 4k monitor is a dream. Bright vivid images, easy to connect the cables up, I needed a monitor stand to get it at my eye level (i'm 6' 2") and ever since im nothing but happy with my purchase. The sales person was helpful, understood what i was looking for in terms of price, size, and type of monitor. If you are using this for anything BUT gaming, its worth it. If you are playing FPS games, look at a gaming monitor.

LG 4K Monitor from Best Buy - A Solid Choice

I bought the LG 4K monitor at Best Buy recently, and it has definitely met my expectations. Here’s a straightforward review: Visual Quality (5/5): The LG 4K monitor delivers stunning visual quality. The 4K resolution ensures sharp images with vibrant colors. It’s great for work and entertainment, with excellent clarity and detail. The IPS panel provides wide viewing angles and accurate colors. Design and Build (4/5): The monitor looks sleek and modern, fitting well in any setup. However, the stand is a bit wobbly, and it lacks some adjustability options like height and swivel. Connectivity (4/5): It offers a good variety of ports, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C, allowing for flexible device connections. Some ports’ placement on the back can be a bit inconvenient. Performance (4/5): The monitor performs well with a fast refresh rate and low input lag, making it suitable for gaming and working with my MacMini M2 (which was also purchased from Bestbuy) HDR support enhances visuals, though it might not match pricier HDR displays. Features (3/5): While it offers useful features like Split Screen and Picture-in-Picture, the menu navigation isn’t the most user-friendly. It takes some getting used to. In summary, the LG 4K monitor is a solid choice if you’re looking for impressive visuals and versatility for an unbeatable price. Despite a few drawbacks like the wobbly stand and menu navigation, its stunning 4K display and overall performance make it a compelling option for those on a budget. Great monitor lighting and easy to set up. Wasn't sure I wanted to go full 4k, but it's a great picture and the price was right. Was also worried about being an OLED and burn in or ghosting.None to speak of and I have ran many AAA games on hear. No tearing and stutters to speak of. It's great for the price.

This is my second time buying this exact same monitor. You cannot beat the quality of this monitor for $200 (when on sale) anywhere. The next best 27" monitor would be purchasing this monitor at regular price. Everything about it feels like the screen of a macbook pro, crisp, sharp and color rich.

Bought for MacBook Air external monitor. Brilliant color and very similar to MacBook screen. Small cons are just 1) power is by adapter which comes with kind of big rectangular box, 2) display seems to catch dust easily. I knew it didn’t come with height adjustment but it is $$ cheaper than the model with it and I’m thinking of getting a monitor arm. One button display is unique and I am not yet familiar but I don’t think it’s an issue as I don’t often change anyway. I hope this monitor will last long as I see quite a few reviews concerning it.

I recently purchased a 4K monitor for $200, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The visual clarity and detail are outstanding, making it perfect for photo editing, video streaming, and gaming. Setup was straightforward, and the monitor's sleek design fits seamlessly into my workspace. Despite its budget-friendly price, it doesn't compromise on quality, offering vibrant colors and multiple connectivity options. Overall, this 4K monitor is an excellent investment, delivering exceptional quality and performance at a fraction of the cost of other high-end models. Highly recommended!

I have a 2021 MacBook Pro. This is the first time having a monitor attached. The choices were overwhelming and I’m not a gamer.

This was on sale and I had a $150 Best Buy Gift card because I bought a washer/dryer. So I got it at great price.

I love the 27” size. I have a F.lux app so I can adjust the color on the screen as the normal daylight/blue light irritates my eyes.

Picture quality on movies is not 100% clear/crisp, but it is very good. Maybe if I had an ethernet I would notice it better, but for my needs it’s more than adequate.
Youtube - excellent super crisp and clear
 Netflix - very good
Amazon Prime - very good I had trouble setting it up. When it was attached to a multiport USB-C hub, every window shrunk and it was impossible to work with.

I went to Total Tech and they put the HDMI cord into the dedicated HDMI port on the laptop and that fixed it.

Got this monitor a couple months back and it's been working flawlessly since. Think I picked it up for $200 and for the price I think it's pretty good. Using it with my Mac mini M1. This does not have any speakers or additional output USB ports, would have been great if it did. Visually the monitor is quite clear for SDR content, HDR did not really make much of a difference to me. Using this along side a Dell ultra sharp 30 inch monitor and this is quite clear. The dell is 2.5K resolution and is much older though. I have this mounted on a monitor arm and did not use the stand that came with it. Power usage wise I saw it pulling only around 20watts during my usage, my Dell Ultra sharp monitor(2.5K) pulls around 50watts.

This is a really good entry level 4k monitor. It's only 60hz so not ideal for competitive gamers, but for a casual gamer like me that wants to get some great visuals out of that shiny new graphics card, this shows it off without breaking the bank (like the GPU did). It is gsync compatible which does a great job of solving screen tearing. The colors look nice and rich and the backlight shows no noticeable bright and dim spots even on a black screen. It really can't be beat at this price

I like it so far. Colors look good and its bright enough for me. The whole HDR400 will probably confuse some folks. Personally I would just take the HDR400 tags off of the marketing for this monitor. It will probably cause more confusion than anything else. Folks don't like to do research, it's easier to complain than to look up what something means. The IPS panel is good, not really worried about off angle viewing. Controls are easy to operate. The FreeSync is a neat bit of tech. Ghost Recon Breakpoint looks pretty good. My previous monitor was a 27" 1080P monitor that was 10 years old. Unit shipped with HDMI and Display Port cables which is a plus. No speakers in the monitor so headphones or external. You can plug them into the headphone jack on the back of the monitor. The stand is okay, would have been great if it went up and down instead of just tilting. I have a 5500XT driving this and I am pleased, did I say that already? One last thing. It has thin bezels but the image from the panel adds some additional black space between the the edge of the viewable screen and the bezel (see pic). Time will tell how this holds up as far as longevity is concerned but for now. It's good. I'd recommend picking this up especially if its on sale.

I only used this monitor for about 8 weeks cause i left it at my parents house, but in the short time with it, it has been excellent. i have a spyderx colorimeter and after calibration things were really good, i did a display analysis and from memory i think it was like 100% srgb and like 96% dcip3. i still have the contrast at various white point settings: (4700k) - brightness 352.1 - contrast 870:1 (6500k) - brightness 412 - contrast 1020:1 (9900k) - brightness 368 - contrast 910:1 6500k is generally the sweet spot, and thats a very respectable contrast and brightness for an ips display anyway, the screen looks great and it gets nice and bright too. i used this for vfx work, which demands some color accuracy and this is perfectly good for that. hdr works but i didnt really use it much, so i cant give a proper review. i did play some light games, nothing too competitive, and it was fine, didnt notice any obvious smearing or ghosting. my main complaint is that the OSD has this thing where it plays a tone every time you click anything, or when the monitor goes to sleep, and that gets pretty annoying. there might be a way to turn that off, not sure though. also, the stand doesnt go up or down, and im not even sure if it swivels, but i dont remember for sure. if you're like me though, that isnt a big deal overall, i bought this for $200 and thats an absolute steal, but even at full price, this is quite good. you might consider the asus proart which is also very accurate and quite good, and has better range of adjustments for the stand, but is about 100$ more

I had to return the 1st one I bought, because it was missing the screws to attach the stand. Screen is very nice. I have this paired with an Apple Studio Display. The build quality, stand, etc are nowhere near the Studio Display, but the clarity & coloring of the screen seems pretty similar…. Perfect as a 2nd display since It has no speakers or camera. It sits an inch or so lower than the Studio display, and is not height adjustable. The cords could be a little longer imho. I didn’t measure them, but i imagine they’re around 5ft

Bought it on sale. Very satisfied with my purchase. Excellent model, although I do wish it had built in speakers. Connected my JBL speaker with an aux cable; problem solved! I bought this monitor to use with my PS5 and it definitely is a match made in aesthetic heaven. The monitor matches colors with my PS5 and provides a beautiful crisp and clear image that still has me staring at my monitor in awe. A really good pick if you’re looking for a monitor that provides a great image at a reasonable price.
