this monitor is straight gas. i was gonna return it because i didnt think the frames you lost for 4k was worth it, but after i packaged it up i went back on my 1440p 240hz and i felt like throwing it out the window. the sharpness of 4k is just soooo good, i promise if you buy this you wont be able to go back to anything lower. 160hz isn't as smooth as 240hz obviously but its close enough that it really is a no brainer to choose this over 240 if you can actually run 4k. which means you NEED a 3080, a 3070 wont cut it. web browsing, movies, tv shows, youtube videos, text, games, it is literally a night and day difference in 4k. if you got a 3080, this is literally as good as pc gaming gets. it even trumps my ultrawide.

I got this for one of the $330 super sales they had in store only, so great value. Its a good monitor for an IPS, meaning it has good colors but horrible contrast in dark scenes. The included picture shows an exaggerated look at the IPS glow on this monitor, however in real life it doesn't look this strong. There is also a cooling fan that makes an audible noise so keep that in mind. The cable it comes with is garbage and does not work at 4k 144hz, you NEED to buy your own quality DP 1.4a cable to do that.

Love these monitors, I bought 2 they work perfect. I use them for gaming and video/photo editing and love them. The one catch is for you get the 144 Hz refresh rate you need to use the display ports not HDMI ports. But other than thank love it. One note is if you buy 2, you will not be able to use the app that allows you sync the lights to the video you have playing. ( I don't use this feature but it would be nice if it supported 2 monitors )

This is worth if if you’re a pc gamer. It lacks HDMI 2.1 but it doesn’t really matter for me cause i only game on pc. Currently paired with a RTX 3090 and this monitor is amazing! The new firmware will make it OC to 160hz! Picture is also amazing! Upgraded from a Samsung odyssey g7 and have no regrets! If it’s in stock GRAB IT! cause it sells out really fast. The RGB is also a nice touch if you’re into that kind of stuff. 4k gaming is just on whole different level and wont be going back to 1440p or 1080p. Overall its a great monitor and LG knocked this out the park! Ive had this monitor for about 3 days and have no problems with it. Hopefully it stays that way.

Awesome monitors. They do great with gaming as well with the color accuracy I need for photo editing. Love the small bezel and LED lighting. I don’t need the LED lighting but it is a nice touch. I highly recommend these if you want to game and do work with the same monitors.

This is a great monitor for gamers who are also content creators due to its 4K res, high 144hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 gamut coverage and brightness. Sure, it has the downfalls of IPS but it’s still very good. For the price, its not the best value but it is a very nice display and you’ll be happy with it (unless you buy it for HDR due to the eight dimming zones). Also, you’ll need an RTX 2000 series card or newer or an AMD GPU from 2019 onwards, except the Radeon 7. I have a Vega 56, so I’m stuck at 4K 120hz.

I was lucky enough to get the monitor while it was on clearance for a great price. The picture quality is amazing compared to my 1440p and the high refresh rate is great. My only few qualms are the fact it came worh 2000 power on hours, a very evidwnt yellow straight line on the right side of the screen, and not being able to submit a ticket to LG regarding either of these things.

WOW! What can I say. 4K, 144hz. A Beast of a monitor. I went from a 240hz 1080p TN panel to this and I am blow away at what I have been missing out on. I am in love. I play lots of pubg and cod and can manage 140-160 FPS at 4K on both games. Currently have a 3090, 10850k and 32gb 3200mhz ram. The only bad thing I can seem to find is not being able to get my hands on a second one. These are like the ps5 can’t find them anywhere!!!

This monitor is the best investment I've made for myself during COVID. I'm currently driving it with an FE 3080. Coming from a 1080p panel, the 1440p monitor I tried just did not "wow" me the way this one did. I mainly game on PC, so I don't really need HDMI 2.1. The RGB lights, while not some revolutionary feature, is definitely nice to have and creates a great ambiance. The OSD controls are phenomenal - tactile and easy to use. The monitor is sharp, bright, and my unit has a relatively minimal amount of IPS glow. At $660 open-box with basically no clear issues, this was an absolute steal.

Great monitor for playing games beautiful colors .

I use this monitor for video editing and gaming and I can say it looks stunning. The display is color accurate, the refresh rate is amazing, 4k gives good editing headroom. I'm definitely happy with this purchase. The aspect ratio is great for video editing, ultra-wides often do not have enough vertical real estate. The LED modes are fun and add some color to your room. The picture sync feature adds ambience to whatever you're watching. Not life-changing but fun anyway. This monitor has a good port selection. Wish it had USB-C and power delivery but that's not a deal breaker since I have a Caldigit that handles all that.

You will not find a monitor same as thisone. I was unlucky to have a defective display port 1.4a. When booting up the PC, the monitor flickers many times and unable to get a picture. I tried many display port cables and no luck. It works perfect if use with HDMI but it can only go to 60Hz 4K. But lucky me I got the 4 yrs insurance so when even I want I can return. Unless Best Buy tells me to swap for another one before the 30 days. I do not want to lose the insurance money.

This monitor pretty much checks all the boxes that a gamer must have. Must have a RTX 20 series or the 30 series to be able to use 4k 144hz through DP with DSC. Taking one star due to lack of HDMI 2.1.

I got a 3080, so I wanted a great editing monitor that's good at gaming too. Worked great for a bit Sometimes would struggle to wake from sleep mode because of windows, but that's not hard to deal with. And then the dead pixel showed up. At just under 18 months of ownership. ARe you kidding me.

Pros: - 4K 160Hz (OC Settings). - Great colors and very bright. - Nice monitor stand w/plenty height. - Easy to use menu. - Gsync/Freesync compatible. - Best overall price/features/colors for a 4K gaming monitor. Cons: - Terrible corner bleeding from all 4 corners (noticeable in darker scenes; pic provided). - Limited availability due to Covid so you get what you can find type of situation. (WILL claim warranty for bleeding once stock catches up). - USB 2.0 for a late 2020 model monitor is ridiculous.

Fantastic resolution, nearly frameless design, thoughtful packaging. LEDs on the back for extra bling. The only downside is that the LG app to control the LEDs only supports one monitor, and I have two. But as far as the monitor performance goes, these are great.

One of the best gaming monitors for the Xbox series X. 1440p at 144hz is nothing short of spectacular! Also the RGB is a nice touch, especially when you can control the RGB scheme from the onboard settings. Well done LG well done.

This gaming monitor is legit I like it only think I wish Hdmi 2.1 but other then that has a pretty picture the colors everything is beautiful doesn't play sound from it so u need a headset or a speaker to ay your games but ita dope... recommend if you have a RTX3080
