    Extremely Solid 4K Monitor

I've owned two LG - 27UK600-W 27" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitors for several months now and I must say that it was money well spent. As a video editor/content creator, color accuracy is extremely important and this monitor absolutely delivers. With its sRGB 99% Color Gamut, I can be confident that my content is delivered to clients with precise color representation and accuracy. The HDR 10 and AMD Freesync are also top-notch for viewing 4K content or gaming. I've played hours upon hours of various Triple-A games in 4K and have yet to notice any issues with screen tearing or inaccurate HDR. If you're worried about input lag or refresh rates for games, don't! 60hz while not ideal for fast-paced games and fast-moving images, should not be a deterrent when considering this monitor. It simply gets the job done. Con: My only issue with this monitor is that it doesn't always wake up from sleep mode on its own and I have to manually power it on. I'm not sure if this is driver or firmware related but it's definitely worth pointing out. I also would have loved to see the bottom bezel thinned out a bit to match the other three. It seems like LG wanted us all to know that is an LG product by branding the lower bezel. Not a fan of that decision because the logo could have easily been put on the back, but it is what it is. Overall, it's a minor annoyance I suppose, but it kept me from giving this a five-star review. In closing, this monitor as the perfect entry-level to mid-tier 4K monitor. Are there superior products on the market? Sure, but for the money, this will get you the best bang for your buck. 4.4 out of 5

I don't know what's not to like about this monitor. I paired it with an XPS 15 9570, Active USB-C to HDMI cable, and I get 3840x2160@60hz. The 60hz part is important. Less than that on these big screens becomes very obvious. I suggest reading the manual though. There are settings in the OSD that look like something you'd want but can have negative impacts on the viewing experience. For example: Super Resolution+ should only be turned on for gaming. It gives fonts in the desktop jaggy edges. HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color also needs to be on for 60hz. If it's off, the refresh rate slows to 30hz. Point is, read the book. It's easy to make the display look sub-optimal with the wrong settings. With the right settings, it's excellent. 150% scaling @ 3840x2160/60hz on Windows 10 with Clear Type turned on = Awesome. You can make yourself crazy looking over specs and reviews. This monitor does the job and looks great. Stop looking, get this one.

Good monitor for consoles. I have a Xbox One X and did a 4k detail check and all the requirements are checked off. One thing this monitor doesn't have is speakers which is no problem if you have a 3.5mm aux cord and can add a small speaker. Pros: HDR, 5ms response time, AMD freesync, Cons: No USB ports, no speakers, plastic built.

This monitor is great for those who have a small space and care how the monitor looks with their decor. I have a 550 sq ft condo and it's important that everything I own look modern and blend in with my decor. I purchased an HP prior to this monitor and it stood out like a sore thumb with so much black plastic on the back and all the black wires hanging down. The white back on this monitor with the white cables make it easy on the eyes. It's super thin as well! The quality of the monitor is also excellent and it's large enough to split the screen and do multiple tasks at the same time. I put a ton of time into selecting the perfect monitor so trust me that it's great!

Was looking for a large monitor to use with my laptop. In store liked the size and display quality. Got it home and WOW what a perfect fit. Perfect size not too big and works perfectly with my laptop. couldn't ask for a better buy. After months of use I still thinks its the best buy I have made. .

I purchased two of these monitors and they're pretty great for the price. They're plug and play, have now issues with the computer waking from sleep. Just an all around good monitor. My only caveat is I had to return the first two that I bought because there was a yellow discoloration in multiple areas around the border on both monitors. I exchanged them and got one monitor with no issues, and one with slight yellow discoloration issues at the bottom edge of the display. I would have exchanged the defective one again if it wasn't such a hassle to disconnect and re-pack so I just decided to deal with it. It does bother me from time to time but I try to ignore it. The picture displays these two monitors above another LG 38" Curved Monitor.

Purchase this monitor do to photoshop work for my MacBook Pro 2016 make sure you get a 4k usb-c cable for the Mac and monitor to get that true quality image of the monitor and gaming for my PS4 Pro and xbox one x. What can I say amazing!!! 4K with HDR 60Hz perfect for consoles (not for PC Gaming). I agree with everyones rating, amazing product. I think this might be one of the best monitor out there for consoles and with the touch of free sync for xbox one x users is a plus. The only con is that the monitor doesn't have built-in speakers but for $22 bucks you can buy decent Logitech speakers at best buy. it would get the job done. Color 4k HDR is sooo good to look at while playing amazing games that support it.

AWESOME 4K "HDR" IPS MONITOR FOR THE PRICE!

I got this on a deal for $319 compares to its original price of $449. I know I had to get it! Haha. Having a PS4 Pro while playing on a LED 1080p tv made this switch a magical one. The difference between 4k and 1080p was massive in my eyes. This monitor is plenty bright in a small room like mine. The customization settings the monitor offers are great! It's not true HDR, but how the monitor still simulates HDR10 is just amazing. The input lag and response time for this monitor is I would say really good for games that are hard on reaction like fighting and fps games. Pictures and videos don't do justice. You have to see it with your own eyes. >Great Price >Great Quality monitor by LG >Awesome input lag & response time >Plenty bright for a small room >Awesome 4k Graphics for my PS4 Pro >Quick Easy Setup

    Great 4k/HDR Monitor for Xbox

Bought this monitor to replace a Asus VP28U 4k monitor as i wanted hdr for my Xbox One X. This monitor ticks off all the boxes under 4k details and looks stunning. Even without any changes to settings it has much more vibrant colors. Have noticed no lag issues playing fps games either. Really impressed with this monitor from LG. Cannot recommend it enough for console gaming.

Picked up this monitor after my 12 year old Asus Gaming monitor finally died. (I used that, and now this, as my second screen for Streaming and extra space.) The screen real estate in 4k is INCREDIBLE! I can fit an insane amount of windows and content in the space, which helps workflow a lot. Comes with HDMI and a Displayport cable. I have no idea how the stand is, as I mounted this on desk arm mounts immediately after unboxing it. The monitor settings are fine. Nothing special hidden in there. (I only notice this because my main monitor is an Acer Predator 24inch 180hz... That screen has A TON of settings to dig through) I have a NVIDIA GPU, so the FreeSync is a useless feature for me. Actually played the Black OPS 4 Blackout Beta, which supports 4k and HDR. STUNNING, especially for a COD game. I couldn't really recommend this as a gaming monitor, at least for shooters. The 5MS is good enough. The 60HZ is kind of painful for gaming (All in my opinion... Keep in mind I run a 180hz monitor as my main. These little nit pickey things are massive for me.) Despite my little complaints, this is an amazing screen for the money. Even better if you can get it Open Box.

I had previously purchased the Lgud69P For my PS4 pro, I ended up having issues with the stand and base, picture quality was good I was satisfied but I was forced to return it since the base/stand screw stripped out and was no longer able to use it. I decided to do more looking around for another monitor since I did t want to have the same issue and lucky for me I came across this monitor on the best buy website, it's lowered priced but hdr capable unlike the one I returned. I was a little skeptical on it but decided to give it a go, the panel itself is beautiful and the picture is amazing, hdr is definitely the way to go, the only reason this is priced cheaper is because the stand only tilts front to back but after using the monitor and seeing how great it looks I honestly would much rather have great picture over a fully adjustable stand. Best bang for your buck!!

    Hardcore Console Gaming

I usually never review but I had to with this monitor... I was skeptical to use a 4k monitor for my consol gaming (PS4 Pro), only because I play FPS more than anything so fast movement and responsiveness is extremely important to me and I was worried about blur and being glitchy since its 60hz and 5ms response being an IPS panel. Yes I love a snappy fast monitor but I also love great picture quality and vibrance with colors. So I guess you can say I'm a hardcore gamer with a taste for visual quality but needs the best workability at the same time during competition. Let me just say now, this monitor blew me away! The picture with HDR is amazing! (although with HDR I belive it's at 9ms) It's still extremely fast and responsive, no drag across the screen or glitchy pictures during fast movement, super fluid! If you want 5ms response you will have to turn off HDR on the consol and customize the settings on the monitor to "Fastest" response under game settings but the difference is worth just keeping the HDR on. On the topic of settings, this menu has so many options to fit the picky user like me! You can customize the quality according to your taste adjusting every color (and I mean even colors other than RGB) and blackness levels which is a huge plus with dark games. I would say that you have just enough settings to play with right before it becomes overkill, so long story short: you have options. To keep this review short bottom line is: If you're a hardcore consol gamer that relies on responsiveness but also love great visual quality and color, buy this right now!! Worth every penny (even though it's super affordable lol) Ask me questions and I'll reply as fast as I can to help!

I've been using this monitor a lot now with my Xbox One X, and it has an excellent picture quality! The LG as an extremely crisp 4K display, brilliant colors, and impressive contrast. The monitor itself is light and with the capability of Freesync has made the game play look very smooth with the One X. The HDR may need a little tweaking and the stand does not have much adjustment to it however the overall monitor itself with the ability to use a DP and HDMI makes this a good monitor for a PC and Console system. Another nice thing is that through the display port you can view 4k video at 60hz. The audio is adequate, however it would be better to use headphones through your PC or Console system.

I purchased this monitor for $329 then later price matched for $310. I would definitely recommend this monitor for this price for your average wknd warrior photographer, console gamer, or mixed use web surf/business usage. I bought it exclusively for Xbox one x gaming. It is the perfect size, perfect brightness and has a very low 8-10ms input lag. The HDR is lacking as in it doesn't change things much at all so I set my Xbox to disable hdr10 while using this monitor and use the custom mode to configure it how I want. For the price and the features it is a 5 star monitor. For a console gaming 4k monitor if you get it for $330 or less nothing else beats it. One thing to know going in, a monitor will not look as good as a decent 4k hdr TV. TVs are meant to look great. Monitors are meant to perform great. My 4k TV has a near 7000-1 contrast ratio. You're not finding a monitor with a ratio like that unless you spend thousand. The pixels are crisp though as 4k @ 27 inches offers a super high pixel density. The color is also very good. Just don't expect TV contrast levels. Also the 650 is the same monitor with an adjustable stand. The 600w is the same monitor with the ability to get slightly brighter in some situations that allowed it to achieve hdr 400 ratings. This will be the best value out of all of them and if I were to spend more money it would be for the better stand as 30-50nits of brightness won't matter for the hdr performance.

This monitor looks fantastic. I previously had a Samsung 27” 1440p VA panel and I was skeptical that a 27” 4k IPS monitor would look any better at my viewing distance of about 3 feet. It looks WAY better. When connected to my MacBook Pro via DisplayPort to USB-C cable, it is recognized as a retina monitor and the MacBook gives me the ability to change text/icon scaling while still taking full advantage of the 4k resolution. It is way better for emails, spreadsheets, and web browsing. Easier on my eyes because the text is so smooth and sharp with no jaggies or fuzzinesss. For the Xbox One X connected via HDMI, it supports Freesync for variable refresh rate support, and 4K HDR output. Since brightness is limited to around 350 nits, there isn’t much difference between HDR and no HDR, however. Either way, games looks excellent in 4k.
