Customers frequently mention the large screen size and vivid colors as significant advantages, along with its ease of use and good value for the price. Bought this to use in my home office. I look at multiple documents and webpages at a time and I’ve been able to view five side-by-side without difficulty seeing them clearly. It’s a crisp, clear picture and auto adjusted to the optimal resolution when I attached my laptop through the HDMI. Advice...use 4K Ultra HDMI cables, you’ll definitely see a difference. The only downfall are the built-in speakers. But who is going to use stock speakers anyway?

Everything works fine, I connected my surface pro 4 to it so I can have 2 screen, I am really happy with my setup. Everything syncs perfectly. I even have my PS4 connected to my monitor and the screen view is excellent. I am really happy with the price compared to other Monitors with the same size and my Bose companion 2 series III speakers work awesome also a recommendation if you are looking for speakers.

I had a dream of 3 27" monitors using Eyefinety. While that looked gorgeous, I didn't have the room to set far enough away from the displays to be practicle. I opted for this 34" screen instead. (I have 27" IPS monitors for sale now LOL). This display has 2 HDMI outputs and a 3.5 mm jack for your headphones. The detail on the picture is terrific. I'm playing ARK: SURVIVAL EVOVLED on epic settings and the detail is amazing. You should have no worries with this display!

Caught this when it was on sale ($280), and was a amazing value for the money. I used to have a dual 24" monitor setup, but the bezels in the center of the monitors prevented me from looking directly at my content. With the 34" LG Ultrawide, this is no longer a problem. I have enough screen real estate for a Safari tab open to browse the net, and sidebars for mail, messages, activity monitor, and photos all at the same time... without the distracting bezels of a dual monitor setup directly in front of my vision. For video editing, the 34" screen is amazing. Even though it's "only" 1080p, images, video, and even text are sharp. Highly recommended.

Purchased this widescreen monitor to use for multi-tasking when I work at home. Two monitors would not be an option for me due to space limitations so I got the widest single monitor in the store.
The picture on this monitor is fantastic and the widescreen is plenty of space to place all of my windows when working.

I use my monitor with my laptop and I love to have a wide screen to have multiple windows to make ease of transitioning to emails and internet on one screen with out having to minimize one window. The screen color is great and don't have any viewing issues, clear visual aspects.

I’m using this monitor with a Apple MacBook Pro 2017 w/ Touch Bar.
It works great with my MBP. I use my MBP for editing photos and videos. Monitor has so much real estate, it makes editing videos much easier because of all the room.
For what it’s worth, I am pleased with the quality. It does the job

Great quality panel, very bright, text looks sharp and videos pretty accurate in color. I can literally work and watch Netflix at the same time. I setup 4 for a temp office and everyone loves them.

I bought this monitor to use primarily for video editing. The wider screen allows me much more real estate for my video timelines and for all the controls that are necessary for editing. It worked just as I hoped it would. The screen is very bright (my calibration software actually took the brightness down a lot), and the resolution looks great. The only downside is that text in certain applications can sometimes not be perfectly sharp. I messed with the ClearText settings a bit, but still not as crisp as my old Apple Cinema display, but that's a high bar to reach. With 2 HDMI inputs I can easily switch between my different workstations as well. Very happy so far.

Got this on sale so I can’t really complain about the price. The monitor itself is pretty awesome, currently using it as a monitor for my pc. Only taking one star off because it doesn’t come with built in speakers, granted it’s meant to be used as a pc monitor so I guess they assume you already have something set up for sound but still it would have been nice if it included even some small built in speakers. But other than that this monitor is pretty great and met all my expectations.

Envy of my gamer son. Looks great on the MMO games I play even using an Nvidia card. There was only one G-sync monitor at Best Buy when I went and it was way too expensive- Yea that aint happening.
I prefer the 1080 tall instead of 1440 as I sit in front of it. My eyes can take it in better. Most of my games scale nicely at this resolution. Watching Netflix is a treat either full screen or in a box while I use the rest of the screen for something else. Amazes me every day I have a screen this nice and wide.

I’ve tested out this monitor in various ways (work, gaming, programming, movie watching, etc) and I must say the picture is great no matter what you are doing. I like that you can switch the input or split screen without having to unplug cables. Putting it together was easy. Comes with an HDMI cable. No complaints yet!

My Day Trading Monitor

I started "daytrading" stocks again in January. I have a iMac and a MacBook Air. The iMac, 27" monitor, wasn't strong enough to run TD Ameritrade's software without any stutters as I had many windows open at the same time it used up all my RAM. My MacBook Air is brand new and has the capability to run the software and have many open windows at the same time, however, the screen on my Air is only 13 inches. My solution to this dilemma is the LG 34'' Ultrawide monitor. I used this monitor as the extended screen or a mirror of my Air. This enables me to have multiple windows open at the same time on one screen and see many moving parts in one glance. Like the description says, "The broad 21:9 aspect ratio lets you view multiple documents on the same screen for maximum efficiency."

This is a nice, large, clear screen. I purchased one brand new and returned to purchase another one, an open box version, for my daughter so she would leave mine alone. Best Buy made one error in listing the open box item as excellent condition with all of its original parts. Unfortunately the item arrived with a missing HDMI cord. They have since replaced the cord so they corrected the problem. I would highly recommend the screen. It looks good and works well.

Simple enough from a reputable brand. While there are specs that some gamers would want to see (maybe 100-144hz refresh vs the more dated feeling 75hz), if you're coming from 1080p 60hz then this is a good stepping stone for someone on a budget wanting an ultrawide and is okay with this not being a 1440p display.
The panel itself is super light which makes using it's VESA 100 mount on other stands a breeze. I was able to throw it on an old stand I have that does rotate and swivel and that has helped. The stand that is otherwise included leaves a lot to be desired but this seems true for any sub 500$ ultrawide monitor.
Aside from stand and refresh rate, my only other observation worth noting is that the color could be better. That may be on my end and require me to do a little more tweaking and calibrating, but I feel like they're just not as vibrant as they are on my decade old TN displays
Overall, I am happy with this monitor given what my previous display setup was and look forward to keeping it around once I finally make the jump to better and nicer displays. The price point definitely helped.

I’ve been gaming on pc for 40years now and it was time for a new monitor. This one is beautiful and huge at a great price. Spending over $500 for a “gaming” monitor never made sense to me and neither does buying junk. Since you can’t actually pay screen-shot level attention to moving graphics in the heat of an FPS firefight, this one does the trick more than nicely.
It has plenty of display options and enough inputs to be reasonable without having so much going on, (and into it) to jack up the price needlessly.
Perfect for my uses.

Do your homework. This is a great work monitor. The ultrawide provides a lot of desktop space for work. I wouldn't recommend this for games. Many games do not support this resolution. So you will have either a really stretch game screen or two black bars on the left and right of the screen. Ultimately, you will be playing a 27ich screen if your game doesn't support the resolution. This is NOT a 2k screen and no built in speakers. I also got it on sale so it is worth it.

I have now bought 3 of these and love them all! I ha e a dual 34” monitor set up and it has been amazing with the quality and dual inputs. I have a sff tower and a laptop docking station connected and I do t have to reconnect anything when I switch between then. The inputs are switched and I’m off and running. Great monitor to purchase. Good color, easy on the eyes (which is very important for me) and nice Looking. If I dock anything it’s the stand and profile cause them to sit lower than I like. So I added a monitor stand for both and the are perfect height now.
