Customers enjoy the large screen size and find the monitor easy to use. Many appreciate the price and the improved multitasking capabilities due to the screen size. However, some customers point out that the resolution could be better and that the monitor lacks built-in speakers. A few also mention that the stand could be more adjustable.

Due to COVID-19 I was required to work from home and I was getting a lot of headaches from eye strain from looking at the company's laptop screen and my two BENQ 19" monitors from the 90's. I replaced them with this huge monitor and what a difference. The colors are crisp, the refresh rate at @75Hz can be noticed right away. The brightness and balance are great out of the box and optional picture modes are great features. I work mostly with MS Office applications and I can fit up to 3 windows in this monitor which allows me to multitask more efficiently. I no longer feel eye strain and headaches after a work day using HDR mode. During off work hours I read the news and watch YouTube videos at high resolution. No complaints.
I hooked it up to a my gaming PC with NVIDIA GTX 1070 at max settings and with gaming mode ON and FreSyn ON I was surprised of how well it handles FPS games like Modern Warfare. It gets a little to get used to the wide field of view but to me it was an advantage. I'm no hardcore gamer but my KDR improved from 1 to 2. The experience was unreal. On a PS4 I didn't like it, the monitor stretchers the image because it does not support this monitor resolution. Playing Blue-rays on Movie mode is like watching my Samsung LED TV, deep blacks and no blurring. The things I don't like is only has two HDMI connections, a DisplayPort would have been nice. The headset input is on the back of the monitor sucks, why not place it on the side or closer to the bottom edge of the monitor or have Bluetooth built in. This requires a headset with a large cord. I ended up just using a Bluetooth speaker and headset thru my PC. The sound was better coming from the PC anyways. Overall I recommend this monitor to get more work done and cut the clutter of having a 2 or 3 monitor set. Crossing fingers that it will last for years. 1 year warranty is not enough for the price range.

Great Monitor . . . At First

I bought this monitor for $300 in October of 2019. It worked wonderfully for about a year, offering a clear, bright picture and an ultrawide screen that made parts of the games I play into works of art. For the first year of this product's active life, I would have happily given this monitor a five star review.
Unfortunately, in January of 2021, the monitor started going black every three minutes with an accompanying flicker. I tried every solution on the internet including checking the refresh rate, ensuring that my PC's drivers were updated, using the other HDMI port, using another HDMI cable, and switching out what was connected to the monitor from a Windows 10 PC to a Windows 7 laptop to my Sega Genesis Mini. I moved all wifi devices well away from the monitor as that was listed as a solution elsewhere. Nothing worked.
After exhausting all options, I called LG's support and did a little more troubleshooting. The problem remained unsolved, and since my monitor is just a few months out of warranty, I was told that I'd have to pay $400 to get it fixed. I declined and am currently shopping for another monitor.
It's disappointing in the extreme because my previous monitor was a smaller LG that still works and will be what I'm using in the interim. It's not as if the unit was ever abused or dropped; I take great care of my possessions. Every other monitor I have ever had, LG or not, has lasted for years, and I've never actually had a monitor go bad before. I recall being at Best Buy picking out this monitor and choosing between this one and another LG because my previous monitor was so good that I wanted another LG. However, between the lack of longevity of this unit and the idea of having to pay more to get the monitor fixed than what I originally paid for it, I don't have any brand loyalty left for LG.
Maybe I just got a bad monitor and your experience may vary, but I'm disappointed, angry, and frustrated and can only give this monitor two stars. The attached picture is what I see when the monitor is "on."

100% satisfied. I use a laptop and had two monitors set up to use with it, but that meant a hub and three monitors was putting miles of wasted mouse moving. This one monitor replaced my two others and got rid of tons of wires and is much more efficient. My Remote Desktop doesn’t like the split screen functionality but I just run that on the laptop and all my other programs on this. Side by side excel documents are soooo much easier to use with this. Love it!

I love this screen. Not sure if it’s the computer (MacBook Air purchased 2019, updated)... but the screen adjusts the apps/images so you can have a lot of them open at the same time (I guess also because the screen is so big). Obviously, I’m not a tech person but this allows me to see everything at once and is easier on my eyes for 12-hour shifts.
It does wobble a bit and the stand is not adjustable (up or down).

Everything worked pretty easily, surprisingly light but doesn't feel cheap. 75hz is a nice addition along with HDR.
Been great for photo and music work. No image problems so far on Mac beta 10.15.3 - just make sure to download the drivers.
Would recommend for those that want a hassle free crisp image that don't watch to get into 4k range.
Only complaint is lack of volume control from headphone out Port unless you reach for the monitor, external devices solve that but integration into the OS would have been nice.

What I liked about this screen is that it acts like 2 monitors. When I touch an active window to the left or the right, it automatically sixes the window to take half of the monitor. I can have two active windows at the same time. Definitely a good screen for video editing. Has an active HDR.

Love this monitor! Main reason for purchase is I needed more room for Photoshop and Illustrator so I opted for the widescreen. Using with a 2009 Mac Pro that runs just fine. Had to purchase/download SwitchResX to increase the resolution needed for the monitor to display correctly.

This is a great ultra-wide monitor. The on screen control works. I had to download this by the way. I bought a second one so I can view more screens (4 at a time). And it works perfectly. What a joy! Takes multi-tasking on another level. Working remotely has never been better. If you need do a lot of systems monitoring or spreadsheets, and do occasional movies, this is for you. If you’re a gamer or passionate with high performance, look elsewhere. LG has that, just not this one. Price is just about right too, for the boost of productivity it can give you. It pays for itself.

I purchased 20 to setup our new office and besides looking great on everyone's desk they remove the need for a second monitor. This equates to less cabling and more productivity. Our modern office layout called for simplicity and functionality. We achieved that with the help of these monitors.
Pros: Large screen size and wide format allows for 2-3 windows being open on the same screen and viewing them all at once. Simple setup and clean front and rear profiles. They are also great for watching videos or zoom meetings because they allow you to use a portion of the screen to look at emails or documents pertaining to the meeting.
Cons: for some purchasing 2 monitors for the same or lower price might be a better deal. It really depends on the application.

Needed a new screen now that we are streaming our church service and have many windows open. It works perfectly and we can now see everything that's going on without having to open and close windows. Just wish the stand was adjustable.

I work from home on the computer all day so I had been wanting to upgrade my monitor(s). I had 2) 27" so when one died, I decided to upgrade to a 43". I received and returned that one immediately as it was too large. My new monitor just arrived (3 days late but it finally arrived) and I love it. It's a perfect size but I neglected to notice on the specs it is not adjustable in height. If it can be mounted to my desk, that might resolve the issue however just using the stand, it's too high. With the stand, the bottom of the monitor to the desk is 5.75". For me, the ideal height would be 2.75". Does anyone know what mounting bracket would work best?

This monitor is a perfect fix for someone who wants duel screen real estate is a cleaner setup. The resolution is good enough for schoolwork and most video watching. As long as you don't edit photo/ video or need 4k this monitor is great especially for the price! For the past month I have enjoyed doing work at my desk much more with this 34" widescreen. My favorite feature is the easy one button HDMI switch if like me you need two computers on one monitor. I have my MacBook and work computer both plugged in at all times with an easy transition.

This products works well like it should and I enjoy the extra wide screen for my works projects. I do not use it for gaming, only for work and YouTubing. The next time I purchase one, I will end up getting a curved monitor because at my work I use 2 monitors and I angle them. I would have like to see it have more port options, but for the budget I had, and needing one at the at moment, this is a very good product. My only “negatives” are just personal preferences.

I am very happy with this monitor. So far I have had very good luck with LG products in general, this monitor did not disappoint. I use the monitor every day for work it is my center monitor making it my focal point monitor. The screen is wide allowing me to place my requirement documents adjacent to my development screens as well as have plenty of room for side by side code panels.

Added this monitor to an existing 3 monitor setup that was already using VGA and DMI and a jCreate adapter. Since this monitor uses only HDMI connections and my HP Envy doesn't have any I had to get a USB to HDMI adapter (Plugable brand) that uses DisplayLink drivers that rendered my jCreate adapter useless. So although I now still have 3 monitors, the LG 34" ultrawide using their OnScreen Control PC application where I can split the screens in several ways, I end up with 4 screens in essence. I'm a sales guy online & on phone all day so the 4 screens help to bounce around to different apps and internet pages without having to Alt-Tab to move back and forth.
