When I first got this as a gift I though it was gimmicky. However I have found it to be great for group photos with my car club. The camera's ability to handle low light environments is poor due to lack of any flash (not practical with format). Video is ok, but my Go-Pros work better for driving events. Requires a smart phone to configure camera settings, no PC version. My older Google Tablet and my not-so-smart phone can't run the LG app, so I can't change camera settings. LG should include a PC version of their software that would allow this.

Pros: films in 360 degree video Cons: you HAVE to use the app to transfer the video from camera to phone, only THEN can you transfer the video from phone to computer. if you try to skip the phone step, the video file will not produce 360 degree content to view.

I'm loving my camera. The stitching in low light can be a tad fuzzy, but outdoor pictures look amazing.

This Camera has worked far better than I expected. I had read online some of the reviews and people had said they had trouble operating it with their phones but I haven't had any trouble taking photos and videos either with or without my phone. Upload to Facebook has been a snap as well.

Great 360 Camera for the money - - Super Cool!

Camera is VERY easy to use. A smartphone is preferred for operation BUT IS NOT REQUIRED. Files transfer from camera to phone using a wireless connection. Files are stored on the micro SD card (which is NOT included) and can be removed. You can also plug the device into a PC for access. A 20 minute video in 360 takes 4gb (so file sizes are large BUT they are in 360). There are 2 apps for smartphones. The first is LG 360 Camera Manager and the other is the LG 360 CAM Viewer. Google photos allows the 360 photos to be viewed in 360 mode using its Photosphere technology. There are also a bunch of free apps for phones that allow 360 VR viewing in VR headsets (like Var's Video Player in the Google Play Store). The first reviewer on here may have had troubles by my experience has been great!

    Excellent 360 Camera

This is a excellent 360 camera, it very easy to use and operate. The image and video quality is perfectly fine for the camera. Not sure what the first review was expecting or maybe they have a defective camera. I have a GoPro Camera and it is on par with that camera. But the LG 360 camera is a different device and so much easier to use.. The size of the device is really small and you put it in case and put it in you back or front pocket. It is very easy to set up to your LG phone and all the settings are pretty much the same on phone camera's application. It has the same manual mode settings as your LG G5 phone camera. I would recommend this to anyone looking a 360 camera. It is well worth the money.

i have owned the camera now for 2 months and love it to DEATH! All the complaints you get from it is because people can't spend the extra time it takes for it work. 1. Download the software for the PC or MAC to stitch the videos 2.Get up to date and quality video editing software to make some fun 360 videos 3. the files are large and you need to know that videos resolution before you edit the movies 4. once your done make sure to download the youtube metadata app if you want to upload your videos to youtube or facebook that support 360 videos if you dont do this the 360 video will not work 6. the videos will always look better on your pc or phone before you upload them. online sites compress the video A LOT! 7. Check out my videos on my youtube channel they were all made with the lg 360 cam and power director ultra 14 https://youtu.be/1WTwuMeY0W0

    VR 360 Fun

Strap it on your helmet and go. Just remember that everyone is going to stare and point. But you'll have the last laugh when you replay it on your VR headset and make fun of their selfie camera and bad fashion sense. Also you ever wonder what people do behind your back. No more with the LG-360.

    This camera is terrible.

Compared to the Ricoh this camera is a brick rushed to market. The footage is not even usable. There is no functioning way to get video files from the camera (stitched) and usable off the camera. Its suppose to work with any android device operating 5.0 and up, it doesn't. The LG support staff are not even familiar with the product let alone how to fix it.
