This washing machine does a great job and has so many features. Its easy to use too!

First off let me start by saying I am just an average consumer. We were adding a laundry room in our home and wanted a new washer and dryer. I had always just bough the cheapest top load washer with an agitator. I spent many hours reading reviews of the different types of top load and the front load washers before buying this set. To make this as short as possible this washer and the matching dryer are excellent. The washer undoubtedly cleans better than a top load. Really it does. It is a noticeably difference. It does take some getting used to. They operate much differently than a top load. Wash cycles do take a little longer but its worth it to get cleaner clothes. And yes the biggest con is the maintenance. You have to wipe down the seal every time you are finished using it. Its an extra task that I don't care for but I knew what I was getting into when I bought a front load. Its not hard to wipe down but its just an extra step. I would recommend to everyone who buys this front load or any front load to read the MANUAL. Its will tell you how to care for it. A lot of people who complain about mold and mildew probably does not do what the manufacturer recommends. Overall this washer has been excellent for us. Very happy thus far. Some cons: It is relatively noisy. All front loads sound like a jet engine on spin cycle. A way around that is to turn the spin speed down to medium instead of high or very high. For us it sits in a separate room down our hallway so its not a problem. But I wouldn't say its any louder than any other front load washer.

My first front door washer so it took a little to get used to. I like that you have so many options and trust me I have tried them all. So far I am very pleased with its performance. Only drawback is that you have to make sure the door is dried or left open after you do your wash. It keeps the humidity out. If you follow all the maintenance instructions you will be pretty happy too

Machine is very quiet. Clothes came out clean. Cubic space big enough for a comforter cleaning.

The door may start to smell after awhile if there is not correct ventilation/is not perpetually cleaned and mold eventually develops. The cleaning is efficient and thorough as all the clothes come out very clean without using too much water (& they were very grass stained due to rugby practices going in). Overall good machine.

I lovelovelove this washing machine. It is easy to use and has all the features that you could want. It is also a large capacity. After having an old Kenmore that finally died, this is a real treasure. Hope it lives a long life! If only we could get it to play jazz!!!

Silent and easy to use washer, much better than my ond one

This is my 2nd LG Front Load purchase. First was brought in 2013. The inside of this machine is a little larger than my first machine. It cleans clothing as well as the first machine which I love... I have noticed that this machine is much quieter than my first laundry machine. (I pray this machine last longer than 4 years) .

Little to no washer noise compared to my old front load. Most noticeable change, hardly any lint when clothes are dried. Cloths still come out clean (actually seem cleaner than old machine) but less damage to the clothing fibers so less lint in the drier. Impressive.

Got this on sale. Heard LG was more reliable than Samsung. Very happy so far. Quiet, nice chime, easy to use. Actually washes out visible dirt unlike our old washer. Wish the LG Smart ThinQ app showed in-cycle progress and time remaining. Used the steam function once and it removed the odor from a damp quilt. 10/10

Great washer. Large loads, fairly quiet easy to use

I have been using this machine for over a month now and I can say it's a good buy. It's not too loud and it washes the clothes the way they are supposed to wash. After washes(when leaving the machine empty) I'd recommend leaving the door open for awhile(maybe at least 20 minutes) before closing it. This way it airs out and doesn't leave any odors in the machine. It's a good machine though.

This front loader replaces a LG top loader that we inherited when we bought our house. This works great. Easy to use including the programing modes. Nice having the door open left which allows for easy loading of the dryer that opens right. 2 days after purchase Best Buy announced a sale on the machine refunding the difference.

Have had this for one year and so far it does a great job. More features than we use. Pretty quiet. Family of 4 so doing 5 -10 loads of laundry a week. This replaced a 5-year old Samsung front loader that developed bearing problems that weren't worth paying to fix. Hope this one lasts longer than that!

After experiencing multiple issues with 2 prior top loaders, i really wanted a front loader. The only issue was that most front loaders are too deep to fit into my gully styled laundry room. These units are only 29.75 inches deep and not the normal 34 inches without compromising capacity. I absolutely love this washer. Pros: - Spins super dry - Shortest wash cycle still cleans extremely well - It's super quiet - Zero mold buildup after using the machine for 3 months. - Love the steam function for cleaning pillows or other delicates. Cons: The NFC smart tag custom wash cycle function can be finicky at times to pair with your smartphone. Overall a great purchase.

We've had a couple of these washer/dryers and we love the features and how they work. The biggest feature I love is that the drum doesn't use belts to spin - the mechanism uses magnets. This results in a very quiet and very smooth operation. On top of that it has great features and washes our clothes extremely well.

I love this washer! My clothes smell so fresh and feel much cleaner than when I used commerical front load washers at the laundromat. The capacity is pretty amazing, I can put a queen size quilt, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow cases, and still have plenty of space left over. I love this powerful little washer!

Our 7yo LG washer would get so unstable that the drum would get unhooked and make loud banging sounds. The load capacity was also smaller. We weren't going to get another LG brand washer but from the reviews and articles written, we thought this model has added new features that address the unstableness of the loads and be quieter overall. So far, we are able to wash bigger loads and it's definitely quieter than before. But the best part is our stress over unhooking drum anxiety is gone now. Before we always worry about drum unhooking itself because it couldn't recover or stop itself from unbalanced loads. Then we had to open up the machine to hook the drum back up ourselves. It was 7 years of washer anxiety that is finally over! We are happy with this new LG machine so far and hope it will last longer than its predecessor.

Old top loading washer broke and replaced it with this combo. Really love it. Towel mode is great for doing a load of towels (really fast spin mode to get excess water out for quicker and complete drying). Good capacity too. Runs quietly, seems good so far after 2 or so months of use.

After having a Samsung Front-Loader for years, with lots of trouble and poor service from another store, I'm glad I switched to this LG. Our clothes look and smell better. It's easy and intuitive to use the washer and we love all the choices of cycles. Very happy with the washer so far.
