I really like the features of this LG washer. You can wash more clothes than a traditional washer since there is no agitator. It is quiet, easy to use and has a 10 year waranty on the motor. And it was recommended by Consumer Reports. I had it installed by Best Buy and they did an awesome job!

Purchased this LG to replace older Maytag washer with agitator. This LG uses less water and clothes are cleaner!! It also has a very large tub and easy to load and unload without an agitator in center. Main reason for selecting this LG is the more advanced direct drive motor system, it is super quite and dependable.

Good washer, cleans clothes well and spins dry well also. Easy to use and has good options. It also lets me know when it is finished washing a load. Can’t give it a 5 until I know how reliable it is going to be. My previous two washers broke within two years, and I don’t have a lot of laundry. I’m hoping this LG outlasts Maytag and Kenmore!

Love the see throw cover and safety latch features. Huge wash drum, easily put in twin comforter with room to spare which I normally would have to take to laundromat. Pre-programmed cycles are not a plus for me, used to choosing size and cycles for wash. You can override them but there are not a lot of options and also not easy to figure out, instruction manual is not helpful at all. Good for large loads but don't plan on small ones. Overall, good washer for the $, cleans well and is quiet.

I had a Kenmore washer for over 20 years. It finally stopped working. There are 4 adults living in my home and we needed a reliable washer. All my other appliances are LG so I chose this model. We LOVE it. It is so easy to use, it's quiet, and it washes our clothes great. Very happy.

Love the dashboard, works great just have to learn how long you really want to wash your clothes. Make your adjustments and stick with them. Its fun watching the clothes being washed, It might freak you out that you are not using enough water but you can add water with the extra settings. Pretty cool. Clothes come out clean.

We changed from a front-loader to a top-loader, and are quite happy we did so. This machine has no agitator and has plenty of room for large loads. It is reasonably quiet and cleans well. The audio notification that the load is done is not an annoying buzzer, but a pleasant musical sound. We are VERY happy with this washer!

I've been very happy so far with this machine. It's very quiet, large capacity. It took while to get used to not having the agitator in the middle, and using less water, but it gets clothes clean. Got in on sale, so a great buy, comes highly recommended by Consumer Reports as well.

We really love our new LG washer. It has a huge tub that fits a ton of laundry. We think the different wash cycles are very handy. Although it is much quieter than our old machine with the agitator, don’t assume it’s noiseless. It will make some noise and if your floor isn’t nice and stable it will probably vibrate due to the high speed spinning. Ours is upstairs and we can sometimes hear it, but much quieter and efficient than our old one. It also seems to use detergent more efficiently. Consumer Reports gave this washer a high rating and we agree. The controls are easy to read and manipulate. Clothes come out nice and clean. Plus, the spin cycle is so good that our drying times are much shorter.

I’m a lady who hates changing products, I like my comfort zone. However, I bought this to replace my Lg front load washer, which was twice the price of this one, but only lasted 4 years. At first I was annoyed it takes a minute to calibrate and get started, but after the first 2 loads I was sold. Its efficient, fairly quiet, and washed better than my previous one. I installed/hooked it up myself, super easy.
On a different note, my previous machine was purchased and installed by Best Buy. After having everything checked we discovered when it was installed the hose was pushed down as far as it could go into the wall drain, about 3ft on a 4ft hose. The washer had been siphoning dirty water pooled at the bottom of the drain back into the washer and gunky water/soap is what broke it. This is why i chose to install the new one myself.

This item was very highly rated on Consumer Reports and the performance has been fantastic. Bought this for my 88 year old aunt who loves the performance. This along with the matching dryer replaced a 20 year old washer and dryer. After she was taught how to use it by one of her grand children, she has started to experiment with different settings. This is someone who is afraid of change but these are easy to use! At first the installers did not switch the dryer door to go the correct way but just a few days later, they changed it with no charge!

We bought this washer per ratings by Consumer Reports. It is working great and so much quieter and faster than our last washer (Frigidaire Affinity). Very large, stainless steel drum--a new feature for us but working very well. Our last washer would agitate across the room on the spin cycle--this one is very quiet and doesn't move an inch! We are very happy with this purchase

Love it. It's very quiet compared to my 15-year old Westinghouse washer. Inside is very big and most of the time the tub is not even half full for us. Does a great job cleaning up even the dirtiest clothes.

So far a very nice washer and I'm happy with the wash quality. I had a previous front load that didn't wash well and the clothes didn't smell clean. This one cleans well and the clothes smell great. Pretty easy to use. Much quieter than our old one.

My new LG Direct Drive washing machine was selected because it has no agitator. I could not have imagined how efficient this feature is. The performance is excellent and it runs relatively quietly.

Huge capacity over our old washer - easily handles a queen size comforter. Cleans well and is easy to use. Annoying circus type musical tone plays when done - wish you could select from a couple different options. Solid design though and working well with about 6-10 loads per week.

Very happy with this washer after a month of use. Our previous washer was an LG top load, and although it performed well for over 10 years we were constantly draining and cleaning to prevent mold. The top load should avoid those issues. Ease to use, very much menu driven by pushing menu options on touch screen. Clothes are clean and as far as we can tell not stressed. The capacity is larger than our prior LG the load size we historically washed should benefit from more space in unit. It is a somewhat tall machine and to reach the bottom and pull out clothes my wife needs to stand on a short step stool. My only complaint at this time is that it is difficult to tell how much detergent has been added due to the design of the detergent holder.

I’m very pleased with my new washer. I feel the clothes are cleaner & it uses less water & energy. It’s very quiet on the spin cycle. My old washer would get off balance frequently on the spin cycle . This one doesn’t do that.
