I purchased this LG - 43" Class - LED - UJ6300 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR because I needed a more up to date, easy to use tv. I was happy to see that it was larger than I thought. The image is so crisp and clear that it took me a couple of days to get used to it after watching my older television. Great price, too. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Got this tv during Black Friday deals to replace 12 year old LG tv. The older one worked fine except it put out too much heat and not HD. I love this new LG - no heat, super light, awesome picture with both 4K and non 4k programs. The OS is really good with free LG shows and content. The tv is very customizable with easy menu system and setup. It is controllable through wifi so i can use Alexa with it and use automations using free app AnyMote. The only thing missing is HDR but i knew that when purchasibg and reason for very good deal on it.

Paired with a PS4 pro or Xbox One X, 4k and HDR you cant beat this LG TV for the price. Quick response time playing games with no noticeable input lag. Picture is great with some tweaking and colors are nice. I don't bother with the smart functionality I just use my PS4 so I wont review that part. Overall great TV worth the price.

From the start, i noticed the TV was not bright at all. And i had a LG prior, so i thought maybe it just had something to do with the energy saving, or ambient room eye strain relief. But even after messing with the settings and putting the brightness, LED backlight, and Contract all to 100. they did not do the TV justice. if anything, it just bled all bright pictures on the screen into white, and all the black was a grey color.
on top of this fact, the 4k i tested through youtube (my only source of 4k video so far) was unsatisfatory. i actually bought TWO tv's from bestbuy, just to compare them side by side, and the cheaper/less popular brand, looked SO much clearer & brighter.. this review is 1 big Con put together, the only Pro i have for it --- the ONLY Pro, is the internal speakers were phenomenal!. Sound quality was so great, and booming. but not worth it as far as picture quality goes.

This was the first smart TV that we have owned and we couldn't be happier with how it has performed. Connecting to the WiFi and using the the apps is very fast and reliable. It's very lightweight which is good because it makes lifting and mounting it easier.

I got this TV to use in my bedroom as a 3rd computer screen just to watch my movies on. I'm still surprised at how lightweight it is and i'm super excited at the clarity of the picture. I currently have it wall mounted which was a simple process so I can see it from my bed or the couch or tilt it a bit to see right at my desk.

I bought this TV because I was sold on LG after I purchased a 65” OLED. The primary use for this TV is gaming and streaming Apps. Absolutely satisfied! The quality and size is perfect for what I’m using it for and I couldn’t be happier, no complaints here.

I bought this 43" LG Smart TV for my daughter. She is watching Netflix on her laptop computer bec. of wifi connection, so I bought this TV so she can watch it on bigger screen. It was so easy to connect to WiFi. Now she is very happy to watch it on bigger screen TV instead of her laptop computer.

I'm using this TV as the movie screen for my computer setup. It was easy to wall mount and get all set up through it's menu system. The user interface is very straightforward. The video and audio are excellent. Interfacing the TV to my phone and computer was an absolute breeze!

I bought this TV at the beginning of May, 2018 as a replacement for an old 32"Philips 720p set in the bedroom that died. The price had been lowered from $399.00 to $249.99, in the weekly ad flyer, on line, so I went to my local Best Buy and bought it on Tuesday.
About 10 days later the price was reduced to 329.99. so I got $20.00 beck in a price match. at the store, Another 10 days later, the price was reduced down to $299.99, so I was able to get $30.00 refunded
The TV was extremely easy to set up. The two legs went on easily with two screws each, and the power cord easily plugged into the back of the set. I plugged the Comcast/Xfinity X1 cable box into HDMI input #1, and the Sony Blu-ray player to HDMI input #2, both with the new HDMI version 2 cables, able to carry 4K UHD HDR signals.
The longest part of the setup was a call to Comcast to get my X1 remote control unit synched to control the TVs power, volume and channel changing functions. The LG TVs have a nice feature in the on-screen menu that allows the owner to enter in names to the on-screen legends for the HDMI inputs. So my HDMI #1 input is now labeled "Comcast," and HDMI #2 is labeled "Sony Blu-ray Player."
At first, I was a bit disappointed in the brightness of the set. It seemed much darker then the top-of-the-line models from Sony, Samsung, and yes, even LG. But reading through the Q&A's on this TV's webpage, on bestbuy.com, I found out that through some answers to questions about the TV, that the brightness level could be greatly increased by turning off the energy saving mode, in the on-screen adjustments.
With some additional tweaks of the color, tint, brightness and sharpness levels, the TV now has deep, rich colors, extreme sharpness and very natural skin tones, especially on "live" shows, such as news and late night talk/comedy shows like Kimmel and Colbert.
Via the on-screen menu controls, I was able to change the audio quality to pump up a little more bass, and it sounds wonderfully crisp and low, especially in a moderate sized bedroom. I don't think I'll need to buy a sound bar to improve the sound
This TV is virtually the same width as the armoire chest-of-drawers that it sits on, and the 43" screen seems so much larger than my old 32' unit. Watching it while stretched out on the bed, the experience is much like watching my LG 55" set in the living room, with the closer viewing distance.
With proper adjustments, this is an awesome set, for the bedroom, or even as a living room set. For $299.99, (or, maybe even less) this mid-range LG 43 inch set delivers a outstanding picture and great sound at a very affordable price. Do check this set out while cross-shopping Sony and Samsung. It's an awesome set at a price that's just around the lower quality budget brands such as Hitachi, Sanyo, RCA or Magnavox.

This is my second 43" LG and is even better than the model 43UH6030 we bought last year. I find that the picture in the 43UJ6300's standard mode is excellent for my needs and really didn't require much tweaking. The IPS panel affords a wide viewing angle there are enough options in screen type(vivid, standard, game, Cinema, HDR Effect) to likely please everyone and all modes can be adjusted to user preference if desired. The Web OS 3.5 interface works very well. We subscribe to Netflix which offers a great amount of 4K and 4K HDR programming which takes advantage of this TV's capabilities. The TV will up-convert standard TV images to close to 4K also. There is an option to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi but I chose to run a Cat 5 Cable to the network input on the TV. Works great! For a very reasonable price this TV offers a great picture, decent sound and a lot of technology. I'm definitely an LG fan...
