This LG top loader was delivered on time, and was surprisingly easy for me to install and set up. The large capacity has been nice for my fam of 6. The quality of the wash, i.e. how clean the clothes come out, is top notch. But what really surprised me was that this machine is very quiet, even on the high speed spin. I recommend this washing machine.

I had to replace my broken Samsung dryer, but wanted a set. After researching decided to go with the LG and very happy I did. Very similar in looks and features to my prior, but the LG is much quieter and more thorough cleaning, but gentler. Capacity is nice and large (I don't like to do laundry often) and it is a great matching LG dryer.

I recently had a Samsung front-load washer that I just couldn't deal with cleaning any longer. This LG is a huge departure from that. There are a few things that are must-haves in any washer for me and I think this ticks all of the boxes; top-loading, no agitator, spacious, stays clean, and has an easy to use interface. The bonus was finding out I can get a phone notification when my wash cycle is done. I keep the door to the laundry room closed as I often have both machines going simultaneously. The notification is pretty cool because I otherwise don't hear the song it plays when it's done.

My wife and I have been using this new washing machine for several weeks now and just love it. It holds a huge amount of clothes, is very quiet, and does an excellent job in cleaning everything. I would highly recommend this LG high-efficiency washer.

After having used a front loader for the last 12 years, we moved back to a top loader. Much easier to load and unload. I bought this model because of the direct drive system. Clothes get clean, and it's easy to use. I find that most cycles are also quicker than our previous front loader, which always took at least an hour for any cycle.

So far, so good. We're happy with this washer thus far. We purchased this, begrudgingly, because our Samsung washer purchased four years ago crapped out with the 5C error code. We were unfortunately out of warranty, and the cost to fix it ranged anywhere from $150-250 without the cost of parts. We were already dissatisfied with how often the previous washer would be thrown out of balance so often, so we figured it would be best to buy new. We rolled with this based on the reviews I scoured over the internet and certain YouTube videos I saw. And now, after owning it, I echo much of the positive aspects from the reviews. This one does has not been thrown out of balance so far, so we're very happy with that. It's also really easy to use, and it's whisper quiet! We're very happy with this purchase so I give it a solid 5 stars.

Love the washer without the plunger in the middle, I can now wash my bedding with ease. I like the chime that tells me my laundry is done so I don’t forget it. Very quiet and easy to operate along with great brand recognition

Bought to replace a 15 y/o maytag washer that was noisy and starting to leak water from drive shaft. I really like the capacity of this washer. with my old one it took two loads versus one for the lg. very happy with how well it cleans and the quietness of it. I think you will be happy with it too!

Very quiet, very easy to use. Only issue I find is that sometimes there is white residue on my black shirts. not armpit area where deodorant is, but other areas. Still trying to figure out why. It's huge.... don't have to do laundry as often.

Like do many items with chips today we had to wait a while for this washer, but it was worth it. During selection and discussion with the BB Associate we covered everything from build quality to repair history to agitator vs no agitator. They answered them all with candor and honesty. At home the washer has performed very well. It is quiet, and handles all the loads of towels, bedding, jeans and the like very nicely. The clothes come out clean and spun well. Although the cycle selection might seem sparse compared to other models, the panel to the right will let you make all kinds of adjustments. Well built washer; nice selection of cycles and adjustments; quiet; and capable of larger loads. It was good purchase.

This is the best thing I’ve ever bought (other than my car.) Seriously, you won’t regret this washing machine. So many different settings, easy to use, quick wash option, super quiet, fast and efficient. You can even connect WiFi and start a load of laundry from the comfort of your bed.

Bought this for my townhouse I bought a few months ago and it has worked wonderfully. The large volume and smart connectivity makes it really easy to keep track of when loads are finished and the abundance of features are amazing. Installation by Best Buy techs was quick and easy and had it working right away The lack of the center vertical agitator worried me, but the associate at best buy assured me this new style of washer was gentler on clothes. Works great! Takes about 90 min to wash something. The load sensing tech within the washer ensures im not wasting much water. I bought these during an appliance shortage that week so luckily I got two that matched right away, but the sleek exterior makes them easy on the eyes.

We originally were going to get a washer with a agitator because the maytag we had didn't have one and it just didn't seem to get clothes that clean. But we took a good look at this LG which we hadn't owned this brand washer before. I read the reviews and I was impressed with them, the large stainless steel basket and all the settings you have to choose from. I'm glad we decided to go with this one. Unlike our old maytag, it gets the clothes really clean and does an excellent job of moving the clothes around. Now we usually just fill it up half way cause larger loads will always stand a chance of not coming really clean in any washer though since we haven't done that with this one, it might be fine. The fact you can adjust temperature, soil settings quite easily is nice. The app you can get for your phone is nice too. Tells you when a load is done and when you need to put tub cleaner in it. Overall I highly recommend this washer.

I love how quiet it is and really cleans wonderfully

I was very skeptical of the new "energy efficient" washers. They use so little water that the clothes are not even fully submerged in water. That doesn't seem like it will clean well. Plus without an agitator the detergent doesn't seem to splash around very vigorously so you don't see any suds. However, i watched the clothes through an entire cycle. They all get swished around very thoroughly and pulled underneath again and again. In the end the clothes come out very clean.

Loving this washer so much! I’m noticing our clothes have no residue and are so much cleaner! The overall capacity is great and as a shorter person, I find this model so much easier to get clothes out of!!

A great washing machine that is quiet, adaptive to the amount of laundry you put in the machine and you can control it from your smart phone thru the LG app. A little pricy but well worth the extra cost. A top of the line product at a mid level price point.

I gave 4 stars because I have not used the machine long enough to form any long-term conclusions. However, after our old machine died, we had a week’s worth of laundry piled up waiting to give the new machine a real test. On the very first load, I thought let’s see what this thing is made of. Filled the tub to the top with apparel type of items, set it for normal wash and hit the start button. Hung around and watched all of the cycles. 59 minutes later, the wash was complete and it did a really good job getting everything clean. Since then, I have washed towels, whites, bed linen both large and small loads with the same results. There is not consistent or typical washing cycle. The machine is smart enough to figure out just what it has to do to clean the size and type of load it has been challenged with. Last week I did 4 different loads with basically the same normal settings, but all 4 were washed in a different style and all were clean. I’ve given up trying to outguess the washer and just resigned myself to the fact it knows what it’s doing and leave it at that. I will say this, the water usage vs. my old washer is much less. The spin cycle is definitely much faster than previous machines allowing for a shorter drying time. Also, items are not all mangled and twisted as with agitator machines. Think I’m going to like it. Controls are back lite, easy to read and intuitive.

Love it! No agitator tearing up my clothes. Clear lid so you can watch it treating your clothes with soapy love. Almost hypnotic...beautiful inside. My clothes look like new with every wash. Quiet too!

We absolutely love our LG top loading washing machine. It is so roomy and will fit so much clothing and even a washable comforter. It does a great job cleaning, is very quiet and plays a pleasant song when it is done. We are very happy with our purchase.
