We are 7 months into this purchase. Have had 5 service codes. When trying to get service from LG took 4 calls and was disconnected 3 times. When 4th call was answered I was told before service I get service I would have to pull out washer, disconnect hoses, check and clean filter and take picture to verify this was done. When I said I’m 65 and unable to do that they said they’d transfer me to an installer to have it done. Placed on hold and after 15 minute hold..the installer said they had to have a worker order and confirmation from Lg. I would have to call and get that info and call them back. Couldn’t do that because there was no number available to call them back because lg transferred the call. Back to Best Buy to see if they could help and was told LG provides better service to customers than to the store so I would have to call them again. BUYER BEWARE OF LG. SERVICE IS THE WORST I have ever encountered.

We really like how gentle this washer is on the clothes. It also does a nice job on controlling the water level based on the load size.

Very good machine. It is serving very well and the person who delivered and installed it was very kind, he showed us how it works. I am happy with my product.

I love the LG WasherDryer set. I have the upgraded set in my main home and did not need one as big in a vacation home, but this set works every bit as great as the top of the line versions!!

The washer is wonderful, perfect size to wash my king size comforter and the clothes are clean with the small amount of detergent required. I realized I have been using to much detergent for a long time.

This LG washer and dryer were delivered and installed perfectly. During the installation the washer and dryer were tested to ensure it was working properly

I wanted to love this washer. The first time I used it I washed a sheet among other items. Well, there were some creases in it that sheet that caught all of the dirt, hair etc., so it looked filthy when I took it out and I had to rewash it. The second time it came out clean. Tonight, I washed a king size blanket, a small pet bed a table cloth and a towel. I used the bedding cycle. Again, along the edges of the pet bed was a crease that could collect dirt…and it did..see pic below. It’s filthy. I had to stop the spin cycle 3 times because it was unbalanced and I ended up removing the towel, the table cloth and the pet bed…and had to reconfigure the blanket another two times before it would spin without the tub hitting the outside. Now, I have 2 items I have to wring out by hand and one item I need to rewash. Honestly, I think if I placed 4 folded towels in the bottom of the drum, that’s exactly what they’d look like at the end of the cycle. This machine is in my kitchen during my test run, it’s not going into the basement unless I know it doesn’t need to be babysat. I don’t think it will last and the water saving feature is useless if you have to end up rewashing your clothes. I’d say it’s good for medium size loads of regular laundry, but not heavy blankets, towels..from what I have seen so far. I’m very disappointed.

absolutely awful! after submitting multiple support tickets for repair, to be told there is no authorized repair tech in my area, my washer flooded my upstairs causing major damages! Lg customer support is beyond absurd! after 60+ days and the flooding, submitted a claim w the BBB.

It has been the most awful exp. The first washer threw an error code 1E. It flooded my house. Best buy replaced the unit but their insurance team sedgwick is doing nothing to help me with floors, sheet rock that were damaged. ALL BUYERS should be aware if Bestbuy sales you a defective unit causing thousands of dollars of damage...they will not help you. They all try to blame the installers even though its an obvious defect.

On 5/25 I had my Best Buy washer dryer set install appointment. Neither of the men spoke or understood English. One was slightly better than the other but communication was beyond frustrating. I kept asking where the water was going to drain because for the old machine the water drained into the side sink. I tried asking about five times and the one who spoke better English never understood. He finally had to call his supervisor who got on the phone with me and explained I needed a plumber to bring a hose up to code. This supervisor was not much help either. As it turned out I asked for the new dryer to be installed (which they never balanced come to find out) and reinstall the old washer. They did not reinstall the old one right because water did not drain out of the washer and I had a mess. Then I attempted to call and set up a re-install for after the plumber comes the next day but kept getting told “the original instal has not cleared”. I explained multiple times I need the re-instal to happen Monday or Tuesday because I’m in a class the rest of the week. So I have had to take another day off work to get the haul away today. Nobody ever called or texted with the haul away window of time so I called last night and was on hold for 45 MINUTES before someone could give me an answer. I paid close to $2k for all of this and it was nothing short of a disaster and one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I’m sure nobody would have been happy with the days events if it had happened to them or someone they loved. Fast forward. I had a HVAC and vent cleaner out to check the work and they confirmed that BB did NOT instal the new dryer vent that was paid for. So now I have to take another day off work to get that installed. Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves.
