Excellent TV!!!!
Easy setup, outstanding picture. I did not notice the TV being too dark as other reviewers noticed.
Went online and researched the settings, only made a few adjustments.
Hooked up a soundbar and TV immediately recognized the sound bar, no additional sound adjustments were necessary.

My review is based on this TV vs. a low-end S*****g 49 inch 4K TV that is a few years old.
In many ways this TV was a downgrade for me.
-No ExFAT support. TV requires FAT or NTFS formatted storage for USB drives that needs to connect to the TV. FAT cannot handle files larger than 4GB, and NTFS is only supported by Windows. ExFat, which the S*****g TV supports, works both in Windows, macOS, iOS, and on Android, and "practically" no file size limit, making file transfers from any of those systems to the USB drive seamless.
-4:4:4 Chroma support couldn't be achieved 100%. I tried both the 120Hz HDMI ports as well as the standard HDMI ports with PC mode specified, UHD Deep Color on/off, Aspect Ratio set to original and Just Scan to 'on', scaling disabled in PC graphics settings and trying different color formats, HDR color on/off on the PC, and setting refresh rates to 30, 60, 120Hz on the PC. Using the same cable I am able to achieve full chroma on the S*****g @ 4K 60Hz.
-TV build quality is just bad. TV wobbles a bit with the slightest vibrations of just walking across the floor. It would have been fine but I can hear the wobble making a "tick tick tick.." sound from the stand making on/off contacts with other surfaces it's touching. All stand mounting screws are tightened well enough and the TV sits on a solid level surface. The S*****g TV also has a center-mounted stand like this LG TV, but there is no wobble or sound, and although it doesn't look as pretty as the LG, it is still thin but yet looks and feels solid. The ports panel on the back of the LG TV makes a creaking sound that can make your teeth grind when connecting/disconnecting cables. It sounds like broken glasses scraping together along it's sharp edges. LG didn't want to spend extra efforts to have the internals mounted together properly on its "premium" product. LG also needs to implement deep pockets on the back of the TV so hands have a place to slip in and grab the TV when moving/setting it up. There is really no place to grab which makes it a frightening experience to handle because the panel is so thin and it feels like it can break any time with the slightest pressure.
-Some dim scenes are made too dim. I'm not sure if this is an issue with LG's Auto Brightness Limiter algorithm. I've tried setting Dynamic Tone to on but that only helps a little to brighten up the image. I noticed that as more bright scenes enter into the view, the the more the TV dims the entire view rather than just dimming the bright areas. Isn't this what OLED should have control of since it is using individual lit pixels?. I usually turn off all special effects and settings so content is viewed as it was intended to be. I also think it is funny that LG says that the TV shouldn't be used to watch content that has black bars at the top and bottom, but only content that covers the entire screen to prevent burn-in/image issues. So many movies and content are made with a narrower aspect ratio than the TV's 16:9 ratio, so LG is saying we can't use the TV for what is was made for?
-TV takes around 10 seconds to send a wake up signal to the A/V receiver when powered on. The S*****g does it as soon as the TV is turned on.
-The settings menu always has to spend time loading each time you access it. The boasted a7 processor is just for show. The S*****g settings menu always pops up instantly and that TV is probably using some "micky-mouse" processor.
-Viewing angles other than dead center has greenish hue but not enough to distract the viewer. The S*****g also has some slight color shifts when going off center that is not too bothersome, but it is a significantly lower-end TV.
-Custom picture settings needed to be re-configured for every mode such as Live TV, LG Channels, Screen Sharing, and USB. The "Apply to all input" option does not solve this issue, as I believe it just for the HDMI inputs. This is a quite redundant and annoying experience. I'm sure LG can solve this easily through software configurations.
-User Agreements and data collection. Way too much privacy compromise here for a TV you've bought and own. There are some settings to limit ad tracking, which is disabled by default, and an option for "Do not sell my information," which is enabled by default. These settings should be the opposite, and the user should be able to decide if he/she wants to share more information. At least, it is not required to agree to all of the many listed agreements if the feature is not used. The S*****g is similar in this area but with a little less amount of agreements.
-Remote sensor. Having the sensor in the middle of the TV made it difficult for it to receive remote signals due to the center speaker being in the way. I wish LG could have put the sensor in a different location or have multiple sensors.
Now on to the things that were good about this TV:
-120Hz for PC use/gaming & G-Sync. Using an OLED display this big with low latency and smoothness of high refresh rate is an awesome experience, although there were some slight annoyances with ABL as mentioned above. Although the S*****g does not have 120Hz, it still has a low input lag that makes it great for PC use and gaming. It is also really nice that the LG TV supports G-Sync but unfortunately, it is limited to certain GPU models.
-Contrast. The main strength of OLED is that is has excellent contrast. In my experience, when I was viewing content which doesn't have pure blacks, like live TV news, it looked too similar to the S*****g. Viewing the same 4K HDR film on both the LG and the S*****g, I was hard pressed to find a big enough difference in picture quality. To me, majority of the picture quality was only slightly better, with a little less faded look on the LG where darker scenes are involved, and pure blacks are best on the LG of course. You'd have to see both TVs side by side to notice the difference. The contrast on the S*****g was actually surprisingly decent, which is probably due to the custom picture configurations and calibrations I've set. One thing I realized is that the content displayed in-store on the OLED TV's are tailored for that technology so yes, those images you see in the store looks brilliant, but you are not going to be viewing bold colors flying across the screen in slow motion with pitch black backgrounds most of your time when watching the TV.
-Style. TV looks amazing, style-wise. It's sleek, has thin borders, and looks excellent, but again those poor physical build quality issues are a lot to worry about when you've paid a premium price.
-Remote. It was a pleasure to use the remote with the pointer. I found it to be quite practical. It did stop working with the TV once and I had to re-pair it.
Conclusion
-OLED is nice to have but I don't think LG did a great job on this TV overall, especially with its build quality, image issues, and limitations on storage formats. In addition to this, there are also OLED risks and limitations to worry about such as burn-ins for static images, and brightness degradation over time. I do find it odd that the TV is said to be geared towards gaming as it supports G-Sync, but games usually have static images, which can cause burn-ins. In regards to the brightness degradation, this TV's max brightness level is already at the minimum a TV should be at so I don't feel very confident about its future performance. I wanted to like this TV and keep it for 10+ years but all these issues and concerns just makes this product a really bad investment and causes a worrisome experience. The LG cost about 6 times as much as the S*****g, so is the LG 6 times better than the S*****g? Absolutely not. I also wish LG would offer more than a 1 year warranty on their premium products, if it is great as they say it is. A 5 year warranty should be the minimum. I would have thought LG would have matured their OLED TVs by now but it seems not so. With all this said, the average user might not look at all these technical things, and will enjoy the TV, I think, especially if it expected to last only a few years, but as for me, it does not live up to its cost.

I was so excited to get this to hook up to my Xbox Series X and enjoy the 120hz and HDR/Dolby Vision gaming. This TV goes above and beyond when you have the proper content to display using the technology in this TV. It's not as bright when in HDR but I mainly watch movies at night so it perfect for this.

I had a LG OLED B8, I loved it. I had an issue an needed to replace the TV so I went with the BX, do not buy the A1 from 2021 it’s exactly like my B8 60hz, if you want to play Xbox Series X in 4K HDR or watch Dolby Vision movies this is the best tv for the buck!

This was not what I went to Best Buy to purchase, but when I saw the quality of the display, I made a quick decision to buy! I have no regrets, I love everything about this TV. Some things I didn't think I would be able to figure out, and the delivery person told me I didn't need them, but I felt I needed to learn how everything worked! So now it's pretty much good.

This is my second OLED. Perfect Blacks, 4k at 120hz and HDMI 2.1, what's not to love? Any LG OLED is a flawless experience. OLED is the only TV I'll purchase until something better comes to market. In my opinion, this is the o ly TV on the market, everything else is a waste of time and money.

My older TV's were Sony, and Samsung i bought them for the quality clear picture they put out, but this is my first LG TV i just bought this TV it beat up my older TV's by a mile in quality, clarity, and easy to use. The movies come to life you can even see the split ends on people's hair while watching a movie. LG is the way to go.

This Tv is excellent and at a great price for an Openbox, it is even better. It is just as good as a CX see https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/lg-cx-oled-vs-lg-bx-oled/10619/13773 for comparison charts. Although the Bx only has 2 HDMI's 2.1. For now, I believe it is the best choice at a lower price.

you can't ask for more in a TV. However, if you have an older
sound system, receiver, etc... Be prepared to update those + installation costs if you are not a techie! The remote is complex and
difficult, so I opted to get another that would do anything I wanted by voice commands. No regrets, I have an incredible sound system and TV now!!!!

Product is good. Menue button is hidden and sometimes when you press a designated button meant for menue and other features, occasionally you see menue button. That's not good. The magic remote control should have Information and menue buttons displayed on magic remote control unit.

So far, we are loving this TV! The picture is vivid. There is an obvious difference with the picture quality with the OLED TV. Sound is fine. We already had and use a sound bar which includes personal speakers for my husband and me. Very much worth the price.
