We bought this because we thought an upgrade from a 24" TV was needed. WOW! we should of done this sooner. The picture on this LG is amazing. But, going from 24" to 55" is such a difference. TV is easy to operate, the picture and color are amazing. We sat all day just going from TV program to another. We are so happy we did this. The install was fantastic. The salesperson that sold us the TV gave us a lot of info on TV. We told him what we wanted and what we didn't want. He recommended this TV and we're happy. I put in this review a picture of what we had before and then the new after. Happy, Happy!

Great price and picture quality. Light weight and very easy to set up. Sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. Was able to compare and research on-line. Best Buy made the purchase easy, convenient and safe with online ordering, pickup and questions about product over the phone.

This TV works great as an economical 55" 4K LED LCD TV. I immediately noticed that the Spotify App on the smart TV would not play certain albums. I also have a Roku so I just used that. But then I was thinking... what if there's a software update? Well if you go into the TV menu and "check for update" it said there was "no update" available. But then... after more thinking... I went to the LG website under Support and looked for an updated software/firmware/ OS etc. And yes there was an Updated Software (very large 1 GB download). https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-55UN7000PUB.AUS You have to drag that 1 GB software download file onto a USB drive into a new folder which must be called LG_DTV. Then you eject the USB, and put it into the USB slot on the LG TV and it will ask you to "update". It will take quite a while ~30 mins to update the OS/firmware/software. But then, for me, the Spotify App would play any album like normal. There may be other bugs that would be fixed with the software update, so you may want to update your TV to see if it fixes stuff. The Smart WebOS though does not have a large variety of Apps for it... not a lot of news channel apps, etc. The Roku has many Apps for it. That being said I usually use the Roku stick+. However for a cheap $350 4K LED LCD TV, I think its really great. The last TV was an LG Plasma 50" TV 720p from 2012. Still worked fine, gave it away free to someone in need. I also hooked up my power monitor and this UN7000 uses 95 watts. The old plasma used 300 watts. 95 watts is pretty impressive for a 55" TV. There is also paired with this TV a Samsung HW-T450 sound bar and bass. Stock sound is really bad. I already had the sound bar, otherwise I would have paired it with a LG sound bar since you can use the LG TV remote for the LG sound bar volume instead of having 2 remotes. Also due to all the complaints I read about shipping damage, you may want to seriously consider doing a pickup from Best Buy instead of shipping. Not that you cannot get a refund, its just a hassle. I did pickup, quick and easy.

This is my first Smart TV and I love it! Once we got it attached to the wall, it was simple to set it up. I don't have, nor do I want cable, so I'm using the Leaf antenna to get regular channels. Once my son connected the antenna, he turned on the TV and was able to set-up everything in no time. We have hundreds of channels! My son gave me a quick tutorial on how to access YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, etc., and then how to get back to regular television. I love it that I can sit in my living room to view YouTube instead of sitting in front of my computer at my desk. We were able to watch my niece's wedding on Facebook Live recently. Again, how wonderful it was to be able to sit comfortably on the couch instead of crowded around the small computer screen to watch such an important event. The remote is also fairly easy to figure out. I played around with it to see what everything did BEFORE I read the directions, and that was okay. It is simple and the commands are practical. I really detest the remotes that are so complicated that everyone in the house gets upset because "someone" changed the settings. The quality of the picture is fantastic and the sound is great! No, I didn't get a soundbar - there's no need to. Even when the TV is turned at an angle so I can see it from my dining room, there is no glare or "blind spot" in the picture. The quality and color are still perfect! I love my LG-UHD Smart WebOS TV and I highly recommend it! P.S. - I was concerned that the 55" screen would be too big for my small house, but it's fine. It's like being in the movie theater, except there's no annoying chatter or sticky floor to contend with.

The Geek squad was here today!!!!! Jesus was awesome, very nice and explained everything about the TV and asked me if I had any questions! This LG for the price, you can’t go wrong, beautiful picture easy remote! Setting my apps was a breeze, and I’m 71 years old... not very tech savvy Lol If you’re thinking about this TV think no more go buy it it’s a great deal!!!!!

My family and I love it! We bought the 54 in. one. The 4K picture is nice and it was easy to set up. We had an LG tv before this one, same size, so we knew we wanted the same brand. We love that on the remote it has Amazon Prime and Netflix buttons. It was a bit of a challenge to pair our LG soundbar with this TV, but we we got it to work. All in all, we like our purchase.

Excellent for the price. Picture is good. Smooth 4K resolution. Easy to setup and navigate. I love that you can even adjust the eq, so I can fine tune my sound bar.

It is worth you pay the extra $100-$150, and get an LG tv set. Clear image, and easy to set up. Best image compared to similar brands.

We are not gamers and the f/x of superhero movies are wasted on us because that’s just not our thing. Sound and picture are great. NFL games look great (even though the refresh rate is 60Hz). Really love the channels/apps that come pre-loaded. This is a great TV for people who have eschewed cable/satellite and want to make the most of streaming options. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

My 4+ yr old 55UH6150 was a good TV, but the speaker audio had been degrading for a year, but I had cheaped out with only a 2 yr. warranty. When the picture finally died, I jumped on Bestbuy's deal for this 55UN7000. The picture is bright, sharp, and amazingly better. Sound is great. The WebOS and Apps are improved, but still familiar (part of my decision to stick with LG). And, with a 5 yr. Geek Squad plan, I'm set. With 1 Ethernet, 2 USB, 3 HDMI, 1 shared Component/Composite AV, and Optical audio out, I have all the connectivity I need.

Smart purchase! This TV was very easy to set up, the colors are very vivid and the picture quality is superb. We’re glad the salesman recommended this TV.

The picture on this tv shows great. It is less than comparable TVs with more features and worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Nice TV. I like the size and the way it looks in my home office. The picture quality is good but I have to still play around with it to see how to maximize its 4K power. I purchased this TV for its screen sharing capabilities and thus far, it does what I need it to do.

It’s has a great picture and has tons of adjustments for color. The sound from the speakers are really surprising. Not tiny sound usually from flat screens. I originally went to bestbuy for a different tv and it was sold out so I choose this one and can’t be happier. The Black Friday deal I couldn’t pass up.

Excellent and well-priced 2020 4K TV set with a faster processor, it has amazing picture when fed with high resolution signal, bright screen and colors, I bought it for my garage and I couldn’t be happier with the image, I’m watching it with a Fire Stick and my games look great.
