Missing air fryer tray, but love the range

This is a wonderful range. Easy to use, easy to clean, a joy to cook on. The only problem is it was delivered with the air fryer tray that the description specifically said was included. When I called BB to let them know, they sent a stove scrubber and LG was not cooperative. Would love to have the tray and guess I'll have to go to customer service at the local store to see if I can get what I paid for.

So far so good! The air fryer tray was missing but one quick call to LG and a very nice lady had me all set up and LG is sending one out. I should have it in 10-14 days.

Frustrating Satisfaction

This sharp looking range works just fine. Quick, quiet, quality construction (apparently, hopefully). However, LG's design engineers really dropped the ball with the User Interface. As senior citizens, we appreciate anything that is EASY to SEE and READ. The control panel on this unit is so inadequate (Yes, the dimensions are fine) that it is virtually impossible to discern function locations without a bright flashlight. It would have been too easy to accept all this aggravation and chalk it up to our aged eyeballs. But... Everyone who has seen this beauty in our kitchen has the same observations: "The display is impossible to see.", or "Why is the readout so dark", etc. If we had seen this model in action, we would never had ordered it. Certainly, a factory focus group would have flagged the problem at the first review. A simple back-lit panel that illuminates with a touch anywhere on the screen would have solved it. As a BestBuy Total Member, I still have a few weeks to return it. But... What to choose? We did not want a different brand. The pix illustrate the issue. Once in operation, the selected function is easy to see. Please note the clear legend when under the flashlight beam. Thanks for reading! Blessings

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding the LG Range ( LSIL6332FE) model. We understand your concern about struggling with the visibility of the control panel, especially when it comes to something as important as your range's user interface. It’s great to hear that the functionality and construction of the range itself are working well. We strive to provide high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience. A back-lit panel is a great suggestion and something we’ll certainly pass on to our design team for future consideration.
Since you're still within the return window, we respect your decision if you’re considering your options. We want to ensure you're happy with your purchase, so if you would like assistance with the return or need guidance on alternative LG models that may offer a more user-friendly display, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via private message on social media @LGUSSupport.
We appreciate your patience and hope we can find a solution that works best for you. ^Juvy

Hi there, Calesta. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your situation and the challenges you've faced with the glass door after using the self-clean function on your LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Electric Induction Range (LSIL6332FE).
When using the Self Clean cycle, condensation can sometimes occur on the glass door, especially if there’s any residual moisture inside the oven. This can cause a temporary buildup on the glass, leading to the appearance you described. To help resolve this, we recommend following these steps:
Wipe Down the Door Post-Cleaning: After the Self Clean cycle is complete and the oven has cooled, gently wipe the glass with a damp cloth to remove any condensation or residue. Check for Residual Moisture: Ensure that no moisture is trapped inside the oven door. If there is, it could contribute to the issues you're experiencing. Consider Re-running the Self Clean: If you feel the glass could benefit from another clean, please ensure you remove all racks and accessories before starting the Self Clean cycle. Also, keep in mind that this function works best with moderate to heavy soil levels. If the issue persists, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we’d be happy to further assist you. The range was delivered without oven racks. Repeated attempts to correct the problem have been to no avail. A month in and the oven is useless without racks. Best Buy is unresponsive to my requests to correct the situation. My last resort is to steal racks from a floor model and chance arrest.

When we decided to replace our range, it was our decision to try an LG Induction Range. We changed our cookware to Green Pan Induction Ready cookware, crossed our fingers and ordered our new range. We have been using it and the cookware for a while now and could not be more pleased. We love that it is Induction and confirm that it is more efficient and capable than our previous electric range. Our cookware performs flawlessly and is everything that we hoped it would be. We are very happy with the functionality and quality of our new LG Induction Range. LG makes a really great product. Not to forget our Best Buy purchase and installation experience, both were excellent!

This range replaced a 20 year old range. We love the induction and Air Fry features. The Induction works as advertised. I can boil water in only a few minutes compared to my old range that took almost 10 minutes. We used the oven for the first time during Thanksgiving. We cooked a 12lb Spiral Ham which was warmed perfectly. The range also looks great with a seamless look that integrates really well up to our backsplash. The slide in range just makes the countertops look more sleek and makes it appear your have more countertop space.

We converted from a gas range to this induction one, and we love it! It's been about a month since we got it. There was a slight learning/adjustment period, but mainly because we had been used to eyeballing gas flames to determine the heat levels, but now we have to rely on numbers. The induction is very fast and responsive. We really like the flat smooth surfaces of the top and control panel that are easy to keep clean.

The oven works really well. Cooked a 17 pound turkey in 2 1/2 hours and had very crispy skin while leaving the meat really moist. The cooktop seems very durable so far, but I've only had it for a month. It does heat up very quickly and cleans up easily too. I also like that it pairs with my OTR microwave so that the light and fan kick on as soon as i turn on a burner

Induction Range is Great

The induction range is a game changer. Boiling water is super fast. Before the induction range it used to take up to 15 minutes, but now it is less that 3 minutes. The downside is the control panel has no back light feature and sometimes it is hard to see the buttons to select.
The convention oven is nice and heats evenly. Setting the timer is a little frustrating at times because when I push the + button to add time, it goes from 1 to 2 to 10 to 20 and when I need to set 17 it takes a little time to get there. I am patient and I work with it.
I have tried the Air Fry mode and I am not happy with the performance. I tried some tater tots and chicken nuggets. I cooked according to directions, and checked they were still frozen. I continued cooking for the same amount of time, still not cooked. I changed to convention back and cooked according to directions and the were cooked. It could have been users error, I purchased and used the air fryer basket. Not satisfied with the performance. There is not enough directions in the user manual to inform me how to properly use this setting.
I have downloaded the LG ThinQ app and I do like getting notified when then oven is preheat or the timer ends. I have not successfully been able to use or activate any features from the LG ThinQ app. Every time I select the range in the app, it just spins. Again, maybe it is user error.

I am very impressed with this range. It is my first induction cooktop, and as others have said in their reviews, that takes a bit of adjustment to get used to. Water boils much faster, pans seem to heat up faster, and overall I feel like it's much more effective in helping me to quickly prepare dinner than my old electric stove. Cleaning is a breeze, as things can't really burn to the cooktop, and being knob-less, there are less things to clean around. The touch panel for control is easy to use - I know a few other reviews mention that the text is hard to read, and I agree that backlighting would have been a nice touch, but overall I think that everything is still clear and easy to read/use/understand. The 10 levels of adjustment for the burners provide plenty of control for temperature. The oven seems to heat evenly and works well too - so far we've only baked cookies, and they turned out great! Some of the smart features are nice too - I like that the range is connected to my microwave and can turn on the vent fan automatically when cooking, it's a nice feature! I appreciate the cleaning reminders too. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this range.

Absolutely amazing range. I love the placement of the burners when using 3 at a time. Induction is a no brainer for me now and I'm so glad I made the switch. All the benefits of both gas and electric with none of the downsides of either!

The burners heat up super fast and the up and down buttons to operate them are easier to use than I expected.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to use the oven yet much because Best Buy messed up our delivery and didn't leave the oven racks. Then took two weeks during the holiday season to bring them. And getting through the chat bots, etc. to get a faster resolution is an exercise in futility. So, stove so far so good... Best Buy? Not so much.

So far so good. Our last LG induction range broke 3 1/2 years after we purchased, which was conveniently six months after the extended warranty I bought. I got the five-year warranty this time and hope that we have better luck. I like that there’s no knobs to collect food particles. It’s much easier to keep Klien with the push buttons, but difficult to read as the font is very small.
