Customers are saying

Customers commend the 65" Class OLED TV's picture quality, 3D capabilities, and deep black levels, with many praising the immersive viewing experience provided by the curved screen. While some users noted concerns about glare and motion issues in certain situations, the overall consensus highlights the superior image quality and ease of use. A few mentioned the higher price point as a drawback, but many felt it was justified by the TV's performance.

Wanted to also add besides still being very excited with the phenomenal performance of this OLED (Original post below), Geek Squad personnel were very accommodating to my unique TV mounting needs and completed the install perfectly! Happy Customer... ******* Was hesitant to purchase the curved C6 model at first... but do not regret it one bit... It looks really elegant and no issues with viewing angles at all. Having the 3D capability was a factor as well which was not available on the B6... The 4K video is just breathtaking especially the blacks where the colors just pop out. Family and I are enjoying this TV very much and would definitely recommend this to those who demand quality and latest tech... ******

    Best Tv you could buy

this is the tv to buy, it will have perfect black and color. This TV will have no clouding, light bleed, viewing angle wash out color, no reflection from screen, all these issues are tied to LCD, it is like plasma pioneer Kuro 200 times better resolution and deeper blacks. i wanted to get this TV in 2015 but it was way too expensive so i got the samsung SUHD tv, even though that TV is ok but i never get used to light bleed and clouding issue, added philips hue light to make is less prominent but the answer is OLED. got C6 due to 3d is discontinuing in 2017 models, LG curve screen is not deep as samsung's are which is better for reflections. PQ is stunning, setting is very easy to do, i have tried Vudu and Netflix they both look spectacular, VUDU UHD with dolby vision is amazing, i have connected this to Oppo UHD player, it is perfect player to complement this Tv. this tv is sufficiently bright for bright rooms, so don't fall for spec showing it is less bright than LCD, HDR content looks very good in bright or dark room. Direct Tv content looks ok as well, one have to get used to it as after watching 4K content 1080p will look blurry, not fault of TV. WebOS is very good as well no hiccups there. i would recommend getting 65 inch vs 55 as this tv looks lot smaller in comparison to other 65 inch LCD due to almost no bezel around. make sure to use certify HDMI 2.0 cable to get the true HDR content. definitely recommended TV.

    Best TV I've ever owned

First I would like to say that I like how thin and light weight the TV is. Then when it comes to picture quality I didn't see another TV that rivaled it. The blacks are true black, no gray blacks. No light bleed at all. Between commercials watching in a dark room the screen get's so black you would basically be sitting in the dark. I mean you would think that the TV cut off. When it comes to watching 4K content and using the HDR you can see just how much of the color spectrum that you have been missing out on from ordinary TV's. I also own a LG 4K non-OLED and I always thought that a picture couldn't get any better than that one. I was wrong OLED makes the picture quality on that look fuzzy some what, even though that TV compared to an ordinary TV looks so far beyond them. Hook this TV up to a 5.1 good quality surround system and you feel like your at the movies. I actually went to the theater to see the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie and kept thinking how my TV looks way better than this theater screen and how I can't wait for this movie comes on DVD to watch it at home for a better experience. Anyway if you can afford a TV in the price range and looking for crisp picture quality this is the TV for you. Also keep in mind that this is the last model that will have the 3D option.

As a 2D TV imaging technology, I've never seen anything before with the dynamic range, rich colors, and deep blacks of OLED. Sadly, with the dawn of 4K, plasma was being retired, and LED TV imaging was uneven and washed out; but OLED blows plasma imaging out of the water. But if you're among the niche audience who loves 3D, this is the most spectacular, most perfect TV you'll ever be able to buy, now that even LG has ceased making future 3D TV models. Active shutter and even passive LED 3D were all having some issues to my experience. But LG's passive 3D (using the same glasses as theatrical 3D) with zero cross-talk ghosting. The passive 3D uses every other pixel line for each eye, so the L/R 3D signal essentially doubles the 1080p 3D to sort of upscale to 4K on this 4K TV. (If you do get cross-talk, you may need to get the viewing height sorted out and move a bit further back from the TV.) The 3D image is so dazzlingly rich and crisp and vibrant that I've honestly been feeling like I've been getting a higher quality 3D viewing experience at home than at the movie theater. Also, I was initially skeptical about the curved screen, but quickly became a fan of that too. (Another feature that seems to have not caught on and also seems to be on its way out.) I doubt I'll ever love another piece of consumer electronics as much as I love this amazing television. Grab one of these discontinued models from remaining stock before they're all gone!

This was the year OLED prices finally became SEMI-reasonable. The color on this is beautiful, the black levels are perfect, contrast is amazing. 4K is nice, 3D is okay (but unnecessary), HDR is gorgeous! And I actually went into this expecting to get the flat B6 but the subtle curve of LG's C6 (vs the more drastic curve of the Samsungs) actually really impressed me and won me over.

Where else can you get an OLED 4K, Curved, Passive 3D TV? This thing has everything I need in a TV. You have to see it to believe it. No light leakage around the corners like you have with other LED or LCD TVs. When the screen goes black between programming or commercials, it really looks like the TV is off- it is that black! HDR and upconversion are very good.

The LG65C6P was exactly what I was looking for. OLED, 3D, fairly large, HDR support (both formats) all ports HDCP 2.2! OLED is amazing. Sure, you really can't tell unless you see one next to a non-OLED, but it doesn't detract from AMAZING. Brilliant colors, strong blacks and whites. Worth it. Sure, a lot of people may argue against 3D but I enjoy it. This doesn't disappoint. 2D to 3D look great, and that old passive 1080P interlacing effect is non-existent. It's a clear, sharp 3D image. Was happy to see all HDMI were HDCP 2.2 and not one as I found on my other 4K Vizzy set. Size is all relative to the viewer, so I'll leave that aside. HDR support is a little tricky. There is a setting called LG Ultra HD Deep Color that MUST be turned on each HDMI port you want HDR to happen on. This settings is found in Settings --> All Settings --> General and you'll see it at the bottom "HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color" If it's not on, HDR WILL NOT WORK. That being said, HDR looks neat, I guess. Can't tell if it's the HDR or the OLED. In any case, "Picture, goooood..." I bought it on sale and although the curve wasn't needed, it was the same price as another LG TV, so I figured why not? The curve does not seem as extreme as say in a Sammy TV, and is not really noticeable. Only recommendation is at least one more port. Having only three may push it for some (not a deal breaker though), especially if they don't have a receiver with a bazillion HDMI pass through inputs. The remote works well enough, but I'm not too sold on the wheel/button combination. Definitely go see this in store if you have any doubts! The home theater guys at the Best Buy I go to are big helps. They pulled out 3D glasses for me to check out 3D content, showed me the features of the WebOS (which also runs smoothly) and a lot more. Overall, EXCELLENT TV and a definite recommendation!

Surprised hubby with this LG for Father's Day. It was his dream tv. So far it has truly been his dream come true! The picture is ridiculous! The magic remote is a TRUE universal remote, which is so nice - since we've experienced others that just couldn't *quiiiite* control everything. It even has the capability to convincingly turn most non-3D movies into 3D. We also discovered that it can make split screen video game play into full screen. (Glasses for this are pretty cheap at about $12/pair online) Players sit on opposite sides of tv with right & left side glasses on and only see their part of the game play in full screen. I'm no gamer but it is pretty cool. Teen son loved it! We're still discovering more things about this beauty and despite the price tag, have not experienced ANY buyers remorse. If you want to grab a 3D TV before they're gone and can afford to ball out a bit and treat yourself, I say go for it!!! Also, the curve really is minimal which was a concern of mine.

I did my homework before purchasing this tv. The OLED screen is exceptional, the contrast, rich dark colors, HDR, and Sound are unique. I chose the curve model since i wanted to obtain a better vantage point from every angle of my living room.

If you have any doubts, trust me and buy it, you will not be disappointed! I originally purchased the Sony X850D 75” and the PQ was beyond horrible at night. I was convinced there was an issue and had Geeksquad out and they said it was normal operation for that TV. I decided to replace it with the LG C6 OLED and cannot get over how amazing the PQ is in the ISF picture modes right out of the box. I would still suggest following the first part of rtings.com calibration settings to get the most out of the TV, without having it professionally calibrated (link below). My only criticism is not with the TV itself, but the stand. The clear part makes the TV look like its floating, but there is no way to hide the wires! www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c6/settings

I've had this TV for about a month now and I could not be happier. The perfect black levels on this TV are amazing. Wasn't looking for a curved TV but I really wanted 3D so decided on this instead of the B. I'm glad I chose the C over the B. I don't notice the curve when watching and this TV has the best 3D i've ever seen. Also very happy with the on board apps as they are a great source of 4K/HDR content through amazon and netflix. I could have saved $1k with going the vizio p series(which is also nice) but I'm glad I went with the OLED as it is noticeably better in my opinion due to those black levels. Best picture I've ever seen.

The LG OLED 65C6P has a fantastic picture. Easy to set up and configure to your network. The remote is much less finick to control the the Samsung 4K it replaces. Got this because of the 3D as opposed to the new model which eliminates that feature. There are very few control points to make adjustments as compared to the Samsung, which may be a good thing for some. Don't like the auto sleep feature which takes you to a slide show without the ability to turn it off. Be very careful with the HDMI ports they appear to be very fragile, and the first set we received all3 ports were dead. The replacement has been working fine however. This is a known issue with the LG is you search the web. Don't force and don't wiggle to connect or disconnect cables. For safety, I would user a 4K splitter and leave in place, just messing with the splitter side if you must make and re-make connections to reduce risk of damage to the small traces that connect the ports to the main circuitry.

I could nerd out going into all the tech specs of the 2016 C6, but if you're like me you've already thoroughly researched it and know it's capabilities. I had last year's model (EF9500). As impressed as I was with it, the C6 blows it away. The addition of Dolby Vision (how widely this will be used compared to HDR10 remains to be seen), wider color gamut and brighter light levels for greater contrast make this a phenomenal TV. I wasn't sure if I would like the curve, but it's very subtle compared to most curved TVs, so you'll barely notice it. I've actually gotten used to it and almost prefer it to the flat models now. The C6 can do 3-D (unlike the B6) and is the same price, so I definitely prefer it's versatility. If you have the money for it, I can't recommend this TV enough. If you haven't done much research yet, I recommend you do it since everyone's situation, preferences and budget is different.

What an amazing TV. Coupled with an Oppo 203 4k bluray player, this setup totally rocks. Amazing blacks, beautiful colors, truly amazing passive 3D without any ghosting. Perfect panel out of the box... This set is absolutely one of the best out there. Went into BB looking to buy another Samsung to upgrade after 7 years to a larger screen (55-65) and, hopefully a better pictures, although our Sammy 8000 series was still going strong. The wife and I were blown away by how much better the picture was on the LG...no comparison at all...made the new Sammy's look inadequate by comparison. We had a 7 year old Oppo 93 and were happy with the pic and 3D, but then I got the new 203 model...WOW, just WOW...this combo just blows us away. Never seen a better pic, and the salesman said the panel and processor were identical on the C model and up and the differences were just in the audio. Can't praise this unit more.....once you see it, you'll understand. We have a perfect setup for the slight curve, too...in the corner on a stand (salesman said the curved wasn't really designed to be mounted on a wall and they saw some breakage due to the curve on wall mounts). Sammy has a much more emphasized curve, the LG is slight, by comparison, but just enough to impress people watching with us and get rid of most all reflections issues and give all viewers the same picture, unlike our older LED, which was best from straight on only. VERY HAPPY with this unit and glad we got the 2016 model, which still includes the 3D, which the wife and I still enjoy watching. If you are in the market, and especially looking for the 3D capabilities, this is the unit to buy.

I own a LG OLED 2nd generation 55inch 1080p I thought it could get no better as it blew away newer 4k UHD panels until I saw this picture WOW!!! this is hands down the best Picture ever and the interface webos 3.0 with remote is seamless when working with my sound bar and cable box controls everything . The 4k is flawless its just future proof with HDR and Dolby-Vision it's edge to edge picture with black levels its almost 3D I am impressed it was definitely worth the extra cash ....its a phenomenal picture

I have direct tv. After purchasing this tv I find out you need a 4K box from direct tv to see anything in 4K, not a problem but they have to send a tech to put it in. The box has many flaws. Read direct tv 4K box reviews. After the tv was set up I had many problems with motion. I tried everything. Probably anyone that buys this tv will use a av receiver for sound. I used a HDMI cable to run from the 4K box to the receiver and then to the tv. This did not work well. Picture was not good. Blurred and juttered. So I switched it and used a HDMI and went directly to the tv and then ran a optical to my receiver. (I have a pioneer elite sc95.). This set up works great. Best picture I have ever seen clear, no jutter, good motion. Colors are amazing, OLED is by far the best there is. And my sound is also amazing. The sound on the tv is pretty good also if your going to use it. I would tell everyone to get this tv, just understand it takes some set up out of the box, even if your not using a receiver. No my only problem is the direct tv box, not working like it's supposed to so they are sending me a new one.

This is one great television. The color is fantastic and very realistic The HDR from 4K blu-rays really snap. I read that some people were having trouble with fast motion. After two weeks, I couldn't be happier and believe this to be the best 4K TV with 3D for a very reasonable price. Excellent picture quality, even with non-4K content thanks to the upscaling. I'm very pleased with the quality, features, ease of use, and design. Highly recommended.

Picture is unbelievable with many awesome reviews from other owners which I agree. 1St off I wanted to say my intention was on model uhd 9500 but was discontinue by the manufacturing leaving me with uhd 8500 series. After doing some more research found out that uhd 9500 wasn't discontinue so now I'm asking myself should I take a risk in this than my wife said no go with oled or uhd 8500. I said no way I don't want to pay and picture is too dark for me so I'll go with uhd 8500.as I was walking to the tv 8500 bout to ask for that model I seen how the oled look with Batman DVD playing. And let me say it was awesome so now I turned around asking the wife about oled or uhd 8500 and she replying oled than the sales person said blacks in the black will bring out the color so I said OK I guess I'll go oled and spend the money. I'm glad I made that choice picture does look good but I will warn you net flex and the other streamers don't have a lot of 4k movies as of yet like DVD s when they 1St came into play so 4k is future proof. I purchase a 4k DVD player and the pictures are stunning I mean you can see the zits on the face and even open pours. Just wanted to say overall buying this tv you can't go wrong and I'm happy I purchase with the 4k DVD player
