This is the best TV I have ever laid my eyes on and I could not be happier with the fact that I spent my money on the LG C2! I only wish I had purchased it sooner. I play XBOX Series X on my C2, this is actually the main reason I purchased an LG C2. Because of LG's recent reputation as being the best TV's out there for gaming. Well, I can tell you from plenty of personal experience, that this reputation must be something that LG does not take lightly, because they did an absolutely amazing job with this display. It is absolutely gorgeous! I realize that "gorgeous" is a pretty deep word to use in describing the picture one's television can deliver, but to use a lesser word, or means of description, would just be doing it an injustice at the very least. The colors this television puts out, and the depth at which it does so, are nothing short of awe inspiring! To watch a movie on this television, especially with our new Onkyo TX-NR6100 audio/video receiver, and it's 5.2.2 channels of Dolby Atmos (or DTS:X) audio, is not to "watch" a movie at all, but rather, to experience the absolute best that today's home theater possibilities have to offer, and in doing so, find one's self completely immersed in this amazing picture and these incredible sounds! And if you thought it ends there, you were sorely mistaken, because as fun and awesome an experience as it certainly is to enjoy a 4K UHD Bluray (this is by far the pinnacle of movie watching experiences, and without a doubt, a far more superior way to enjoy one's favorite films, than to stream them, regardless which app one may use do to so... the picture and sound on 4K UHD Bluray is just plain better!) on this television, you still have not experienced true immersion, until you have played any one of plenty of titles available on the XBOX Series X gaming console!! I cannot speak to the Playstation 5 experience, as I do not own one, though I imagine it is pretty amazing as well. I had a Hisense U7G when I first purchased my XBOX, but I upgraded to the C2, and while the U7G is no doubt a great and beautiful display in it's own rite, and certainly plenty capable for gaming, even at 4K/120Hz... Still, upgrading to the C2 proved that until doing so, we were not getting the absolute most we could possibly get out of our gaming experiences. With the LG C2, things are just more vivid, more interactive, and just overall, more ALIVE!!! And I can say without a doubt, that gaming on the LG C2 (again, including our Onkyo TX-NR6100 boosting our audio to a whole nother level..) is without a doubt, as close as one can get to "virtual reality", without actually strapping on a set of VR goggles, from something like, say, an Occulus sytem, or something of that like. The difference between XBOX and the Occulus, is definition and resolution... The XBOX looks more like reality than anything any VR device can come close to currently. So with a setup like the XBOX Series X, an Onkyo TX-NR6100, THX certified audio video receiver, pushing quality Bowers and Wilkins speakers, carefully placed throughout the room (and two subwoofers to ensure those lows are able to be felt as much as they are heard!) and finally, the 65 inch LG C2 (or any other size I would imagine) OLED EVO 4K UHD television, you are EXPERIENCING (not just "watching" or "playing") the very BEST of what our modern technology has to offer by way of home entertainment!!! And let me tell you... It is an absolute BLAST, and a thing that I thoroughly enjoy on a daily basis!! And I am as grateful as I can be, that I find myself fortunate enough to be able to share these experiences with those who are closest to me, and who mean more to me than anything else in this world!! My family, and our friends! Movie nights are a whole thing in our house now, and rather than fussing that there is something else they would rather be doing, the kids instead, are happy to sit and watch whatever new 4K UHD Bluray Mom and/or Dad brought home this time, or to hang out and play a game! It's been the best of fun for me personally, and I enjoy plenty of games on my own too, but it has created an environment where my family is happy to gather as well, and that is a thing that you just cannot put a price on these days. I know some time, the "newness" will die down, and goofy toys, or worse, the spiney, infectious tendrils of social media will once again win out over watching a movie with Mom and Dad. But for now, I couldn't be happier with everything these new purchases have granted us. It certainly is far more than I ever expected or even dared to hope for, and so, like so many other things in life, we choose to just soak it up and enjoy it while it's happening. If I am honest, these purchases were fueled by motives which were indefinitely self-centered, and a bi-product of my deep seeded, and long-standing obsession with home theater! I could have continued watching and playing on my U7G, and listening via my dated Onkyo TX-NR929 (which still works 100%, including the remote, after 10 plus years in constant service, but I sold it so someone else could realize the beginnings of their own obsession with the same), and things would have still been nice and enjoyable. But when I saw the perfect (or near to it as is possible) contrast that was possible with OLED televisions, and then I saw that same contrast, along with the colors and brightness present in the LG C2 display, along with the gaming features, unrivaled by other televisions - FUN FACT....the LG C2 and G2 are the ONLY displays capable of "Dolby Vision for gaming" as of now... because Dolby laboratories would not certify any other displays to carry the feature, as they themselves did not find other displays capable of rendering Dolby Vision for Gaming properly, or effectively enough that they felt comfortable with putting their stamp of approval on any of them, save the C2 and G2. And so, the C2 and G2 are the only displays available currently, upon which one can play their games in true Dolby Vision for Gaming. No other displays can tick that box just yet... And that speaks volumes to me personally... Especially considering just about all of the other companies, if not every one of them, period, are actually using LG panels to manufacture their own TVs... If you don't believe this, just email any of the other big name brands, and ask them, ON the record of course, what type of panel is used in their manufacturing process of their OLED televisions. And see what type of responses you get. I can assure you that while they will never freely admit it, so long as you inform them that you are asking ON the record, they will not deny it either. And they certainly would not dare lie to you, as they are far too afraid of the repercussions from that, as they have no way of knowing whether or not you might be someone digging for dirt for the competition... It is a cut-throat business after all, to be sure! - I knew without a doubt, that settling for what I had been watching was just not going to be an option, and that I had to have one to bring home, that I could call my own, and that is why I purchased my LG C2. However, I freely admit, that I had no idea at the time, just how many experiences it would prove to provide me to have WITH my family and friends! This was an unforeseen bit of amazing fun and enjoyment - as previously mentioned - that seemed to occur as if it were a side-effect of purchasing these devices... It was all an after-thought, to be completely fair and honest. But a factor that has definitely occurred nonetheless, and one that both I and my wife have both been aware of, appreciative of, and ever so immensely pleased with at the end of the day!
Whether you are a Dad (or Mom) looking for a cool way to try and get your whole family back into the living room at the same time, and for more time than 5 minutes... Or a Dad (or Mom, or anyone else) looking for a killer display upon which to play your own video games, during time that you spend on your own - otherwise known as "me-time" in our household - and as far away from the kids as is humanly possible, while under the same roof... No matter WHO you are, or how you might describe yourself... The LG C2 would be a more than welcome addition into your household, and into your life! And while I can't promise you that it will bring your family together more as it did my own... I can however assure you that it will, without a doubt, vastly improve the way that you see the world as you view it through whatever may be playing on your screen right now!! Unless of course that is a C2, in which case I would say that it is a smidge odd - at the least - that you would be reading reviews written of the C2, when you are already all too familiar with it's capability and functionality! So, if you are looking for the right television to bring home, and are not sure where to begin, or quite what to pick... And it also happens you have been reading this review. Well, first of all, I thank you for reading this review in its entirety! And second of all, but more importantly, stop looking around and wasting time with a bunch of researching this spec and that spec, and comparing this feature to that feature, as you could do this till the cows come home, and still never really be able to comfortably decide upon a television that is right for you! A television - especially one like this - is not a small nor insignificant purchase by any stretch of the imagination! I get it, believe me, I do. But I'll put it to you like this... You could keep looking, and "researching", until those cows do come home. But all that is pretty counter-productive once you have already taken a look at, and read the reviews for, the one that would be the best fit! So stop wasting time "researching", and get busy enjoying! The C2 WILL NOT let you down! You can thank me later!

Coming from a 12 year old 1080p plasma TV, this TV is phenomenal. The colors are bright and vivid and light my room up.
The UI and navigating the many apps and options on the TV is pretty seemless. There are several quick launch buttons on the controller to get you right into an app. You can also set up Alexa voice recogniction right through the TV or use the LG ThinQ cellphone app as a spare remote control.
Connecting this to the PS5 unlocked all available display options on the PS5. HDR, VRR and 120FPS mode are made available. I have the PS5 hooked up to HDMI 2 (ARC) connection, so turning on the PS5 also turns on the TV right to the sign in screen.
One gripe is after watching a show on Netflix or Hulu, if I hit back too many times on the controller, it'll go to my previous HDMI connection. Since the PS5 is the only thing hooked up, it'll trigger turning it on once it connects to HDMI 2. It is like a double-edged sword at times.
Otherwise everything about the TV is beautiful and a huge upgrade from my previous TV. Highly recommended for anyone in the market for a new TV.

This OLED is amazing! I will keep this review as short and simple as I can:
I have spent a LOT of money on a lot of TVs over the years, but this is the best TV I've had, and the best value. Color, clarity, and contrast are simply eye popping. I have dreamed of having an OLED since I saw one 10 years ago selling for $10,000, and my dream has come true with the C2.
I have read many reviews for OLED TVs that talk about brightness issues, particularly in bright rooms. I am happy to say this OLED is plenty bright in my VERY bright great room (see pics). And I don't even have it cranked all the way up, I don't need to. Is there some glare, yes, but in a bright room you are ALWAYS going to have some glare, period. It still performs amazingly.
I have had Directv for many years, and my biggest fear was that this TV would expose my DTV signal as weak, but it makes my DTV look better than I ever could have imagined! Streaming looks incredible also!
I took some pics of it in full sunlight in my bright room, and I could take 100 pics of this gorgeous TV, everything I watch looks better, it is that simple.
Just buy it and enjoy it, you will be so happy you did!!

This is my first LG OLED TV. I’ve had Samsung and Sony brands in the past. The picture quality, color and contrast are stunning. I normally would not have purchased an OLED because of the price. This was an open box in excellent condition. The salesperson who helped me was knowledgeable about the TV inventory and how this open box came to be in the possession of the store. Since I stepped up in picture quality, I purchased a sound bar to maximize the experience. The sound is great without the sound bar… exceptional immersive media experience with both. I stand behind this review, and purchased 48” LG OLED for my bedroom today!

Hands down the best TV on the market for everything you need as far as movies, shows and gaming. Gaming is where it really shines with the exclusive G-Sync feature and game optimizer mode. Truly a treat if you have a new gen console! My PS5/Series X look nothing short of extraordinary. The C2 has perfect peak brightness thanks to the new EVO panel. I have a lot of natural lighting in my area and the TV looks perfect, plenty of brightness! I promise you wont regret it, if you have the extra buy it! You work hard for your money, treat yourself to something nice

I have a 2015 Samsung 3D TV that is lately developing subtle white formations on each side of the panel and was afraid that if i didn’t get a new one anytime soon, I would lose not only that but the rarest functioning 3D TV that’s out there. I had been eyeing on this LG C2 TV for a while now and once the price dropped to a comfortable spot for me, I went for it! Excellent picture quality, brightest brights and so pitch black, when it’s just a black screen, I wouldn’t be able to tell if it’s even turned on or not! 4K 120hz capable, Low ultra low latency, VRR, HDR, Dolby Vision, etc.! Great for gaming and for streaming apps, I dont even have to use my Roku on it, everything i need is there! I can even use my Bluetooth Powerbeats Pro to listen while roommates are asleep! Well worth the purchase and hope this will endure the trials and tribulations for the next few years until my next TV purchase!

The OLED difference is really amazing, especially when watching 4K content. My previous TV was a highly reviewed QLED from 2021 and I was somewhat skeptical that there would be a big difference, but I was wrong. The C2 picture is just amazing.
Live sports are also great on this TV, especially if you watch a 4K broadcast but also with quality 1080/720p broadcasts. The complete lack of DSE is especially noticeable in soccer, golf, and hockey and really improves the viewing experience. Colors are vibrant and the C2 gets plenty bright even for daytime viewing in a room with a lot of windows.
WebOS is okay. The Magic Remote is fun and the apps are all very responsive but there’s a lot of advertising and tracking built in and turned on by default. I definitely recommend a thorough trip through the settings and turn off stuff like “AI Recommendations” that can cause ads to pop up at random times. I’d also recommend an Apple TV or Roku Ultra for the best uncluttered streaming experience on this amazing TV.

My husband and I bought this TV as our Christmas gift to each other last year. Our previous TV was an Insignia product that still worked fine but was a little too small for our space, and we wanted an UHD TV. We’ve now had it for a year and we are still really pleased with it. The picture is crisp and bright, even during the day. Contrast is excellent. We don’t use the native interface for streaming as we prefer our Apple TV, but it seems to work just fine. I will say I don’t care for the pointer function of the remote, I’d rather just use arrow buttons to click through like a normal remote, but since we use the Apple TV remote almost exclusively it doesn’t really matter. The picture from our devices, primarily just the Apple TV and PS5, comes through beautifully. I can’t speak to sound quality as we use a soundbar, but I think most people investing in this type of TV likely use an external speaker anyway.
It’s also completely shocking when you unbox it and see how thin it is. It was relatively simple for my husband to mount it to the wall.
Overall, highly recommend this TV. I’m not a tech expert or connoisseur by any means but we’ve been very happy with it and hope not to replace it for many years.

Just like the prior Oleds this one continues to show LGs picture quality with their Oled. If you were happy with the prior models you will definitely be happy with this one. The extra brightness is a great upgrade due to Oleds being typically not very bright. Another overlooked upgrade is the tv being made of carbon fiber. Its crazy to think even my wife can lift a 65inch tv by herself!! The sound is generally about what you expect most tvs to have. I would never recommend using any tv without an added soundbar/surround system. Wondeful job once again LG and this is coming from a die-hard Samsung fan. Only way it can get any better is removing the issues with burn-in. But thats the achilles heel of this titan on a TV.

I went from a 55" LG OLED C1 to a 65" LG OLED C2. The difference is dramatic. The video processing engine shows improvement in HDR, SDR and does a much better job upscaling. It also outputs higher brightness which is especially important to OLED. Sound quality is drastically improved with AI but external channels will blow it away, of course. If you're wondering if to upgrade to C3 (or the next), the answer is Yes. I presume that next-generation processing is going to always render noticeable improvements in performance. The manufacturers aren't just rebadging, they're putting out new product. Pull the trigger. I know I will.

The sound is actually really good as well. I was worried since it was so thin, but it is clear and resonant. I use it alot for gaming Series X and Ps5 it handles everything they can throw at it Hdr10+, Vrr, Allm and 120hz. This is a great TV for it's picture, contrast, refresh, and gaming options. Just make sure you purchase the extended coverage from the supplier because you dont want to deal with the manufacturers supposed warranty. I have one that was purchased in october 2022 and the screen is bubbling or delaminating in spots. I contaced LG to try to figure out what was going on with it and what might of caused this to happen. Long story short, no help, no questions answered, and accusations from them. I am not saying this will happent to you, but this was my experience with LG support and I hope it helps you in your purchasing.

I purchased the LG 65” Class C2 Series OLED evo TV, and I’m absolutely delighted with my decision. From the moment I set it up, the first thing that caught my eye was the incredible picture quality. The 4K resolution combined with OLED evo technology delivers a stunningly crisp and vibrant image. Whether I’m streaming a movie or gaming, I can pick up on every fine detail—from subtle color variations to the deepest blacks—and it truly feels like a cinematic experience right in my living room.
Beyond the beautiful visuals, the TV’s overall performance and features are equally impressive. Navigating through apps on LG’s webOS is smooth and intuitive, and I appreciate how quickly I can jump between streaming services. The platform’s simplicity makes it easy to browse content without getting lost in menus or settings.
Another aspect I really value is the TV’s sleek design. It’s remarkably thin and stylish, blending seamlessly with my home décor. The remote is simple to use and feels comfortable in hand—plus, the built-in voice controls make searches and commands feel effortless.
Although picture quality is my biggest priority and remains a clear highlight, I’m also very pleased with the sound. The built-in speakers are surprisingly capable, delivering clear dialogue and decent bass for everyday viewing. Of course, for a more immersive experience, a soundbar or home theater setup can elevate it further, but the default audio is definitely respectable.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the LG C2. From its breathtaking resolution and color accuracy to its user-friendly interface, it checks all the boxes for a modern, high-performance TV. If you’re considering an upgrade to OLED, this model is an excellent choice—it brings the wow factor to movies, shows, and games alike.

Originally, I bought the 65-inch C2, but after a short time, I realized I wanted more. I ended up returning it to Best Buy and going for the 75-inch A2 instead. Let me tell you, it was the right choice, and for a similar price, too! The larger screen size provides a much better view, particularly for binging TV shows and movies.
The TV picture is outstanding. The colors, the details, the 4K brilliance - it's all there. It makes every viewing experience feel like an event.
That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The sound quality doesn't quite live up to the visual excellence. It's adequate but lacks depth. I paired mine with a soundbar, and that did the trick.
And then there's the remote. It's not exactly intuitive, and I found myself wrestling with it more than I'd like. Navigating the menus takes some getting used to, so be patient with it.
But don't let those minor issues hold you back. If you're a movie or TV show enthusiast who values top-notch visuals, this TV is a great pick. I'm thrilled with the upgrade, and despite the small hiccups, I'm giving it a solid 4 stars. It's a visual feast that's perfect for any binge-watcher.

After over a year, as far as the picture, I could not be happier with this LG OLED - any other television I view now pales in comparison. The “smart” platform is difficult to navigate and I run most things from a Firestick. The remote feels great in your hand but could use backlash others have said. I don’t use the LG’s speakers. I run a Yamaha RX A2A Receiver with Focal Chora towers with Atmos up firing drivers on top, a Theva center channel, and a Klipsch sub.
