Got this TV open box for $1999, payed $229 for a 2 year warranty. So I saved $2500 off MSRP. This tv is insane. The blacks are off the hook. This tv does everything you throw at it. Perfect for any gaming console, with one of the lowest lag times of any current tv, hdr10 and Dolby vision look stupid good. There's no motion issues, the viewing angles are insane, the bezel is the thickness of a nickel. The only minor thing with this oled is that it is very bottom heavy, so GREAT care is needed when moving/ mounting. The pointer remote seems solid as well, however I use the harmony elite. If you can get this tv at a solid price you won't regret it. Your friends will definitely be envious. This is a premium tv. One other side note, all 2017 lg oled B models, C models, and E models have the same pictures, one is not better than the other, the features that differentiate them, I'm not gonna get into, but the pic quality is the same for all of them, with the exception of the wallpaper model, who's costs you an arm and a leg, good luck.

I love this tv, the color, brightness and functionality are great. I have the sound running through my stereo system and I use a Sony 4K Bluray with it. The HDR 4k movies are insane! they look like they are jumping off the screen. The pointer functionality of the remote is genius, and I have the Bluray, comcast box, stereo, xbox, and tv all running of that one LG remote. Love that i don't have to juggle remotes anymore, or settle for some clunky after market universal remote. LG offers a channels + app that gives you a large array of web based channels to watch for free. Accessing Netflix, Vudu, WWW, and so much more is smooth and easy. I also added some lcd bias lights to the back of the tv. This picture and full experience is a big change from my old Plasma, and i love it.

This TV’s picture quality blows everything out of the water. When watching 4K content, it literally looks like you are there. Perfect blacks make it seem so lifelike. Dolby Vision is a must if you own it. Nothing else out there compares to OLED technology. If you want an amazing picture, then spend the extra money and buy this TV!

Best TV I Ever Bought!

Review by TomL (Mellimusic is my daughters nickname we once used). Here goes: I always tried to buy the best equipment I can afford for that decade. I went from a Panasonic Magnolia 50" plasma to this LG 65" Oled C7 and it blew me away. The blacks in the Oled is unbelievable and looks the same on any angle. I had bought the Samsung 8000 last year and sent that back. Too washed out for me and looked horrible from the sides. Motion was off. Almost bought the Sony 900E. So glad I waited until this Oled beauty went on sale. I go to other peoples houses and just wonder why not go for an Oled. Now I have to upgrade my high end Yamaha receiver to a 4k one soon... Ugh! Using optical for now. The tv speakers aren't too bad. Way better than my Samsung 32" in the bedroom which I had to buy a soundbar for. So happy I bought this. Some shows just come out at you. Even shows from the 70's and 80's look great. A new experience in watching tv. Thank you Best Buy and LG.

Red Pixel Line On Panel;Picture Otherwise Gorgeous

This review is subject to change depending on my ongoing experience with LG service and repair. I purchased from a local Best Buy on 12/21/17. Had looked at TVs for months, and decided to treat myself after having a great Panasonic plasma that was 10 years old. Installed TV myself with help with no issues. The OLED picture is spectacular -- that's all I can say -- it is the best picture I've ever experienced, hands down.
HOWEVER, on January 9 -- after only about a week of use (we were gone for 10 days after purchasing) a distinct one pixel bright RED line appeared intermittently from top to bottom of screen about a third from the left hand side of the screen. I was worried about this with these TVs since I did see that there is, on occasion, this issue from the reviews. I did NOT get an extended warranty since I figured that if it was going to fail, it would fail early. I was right.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM. SO far, LG's customer service has not been good. I'm already 10 days into my repair notice and they are asking for a THIRD type of confirmation relative to the issue. Their local repair guy is not professional and keeps telling me that the process is industry standard and I need to be patient. I am very concerned at this point that I'm going to be in a fight with them over this. Be assured I will win however, because I dropped $2,700+ for a TV that now has a red line down one side.
I would be VERY careful with buying these TVs. The OLED picture is unmistakably gorgeous -- stunning -- and if LG owned up to the issues quickly and made a painless repair I would be VERY forgiving -- new technology and all. However, getting the run around after dropping that much coin is not going to endear them to customers.
I will update as I go through the experience. I hope this is helpful. Also, the review tone was more critical than it is now but Best Buy had hyper-controlling filters on "offensive" language.

Screen went black and turned itself off after owning for two months. Called LG Customer Service (overseas) and they had me perform a manual reset by unplugging and holding power button down for 10 secs (did not fix). Their over the phone diagnosis was a main control board replacement (which gets farmed out to a local A/V subcontractor). That took 1 week (which isn't bad). Unfortunately the problem wasn't the main control board and is now likely a full screen replacement which the initial subcontractor won't do because they claim LG doesn't pay them sufficiently on screen replacements. At that point the process just stopped and I had to be the one to reinitiate the repair order all over again with 2 more calls to LG customer service. I've now been passed off to a second subcontractor and am at 3 weeks and 1 day since the TV failed. The second subcontractor has been extremely vague/slow and is telling me they are in limbo waiting on a response from LG Technical. I spent almost $4K on this thing. Just replace my d**n TV!!! Just pray you don't have any issues if you decide to buy an LG TV because their customer service is a nightmare! One last note. If you do deal with their customer service don't fall for it when they tell you they will call you back the following day with more answers because that's a lie and a ploy they use to get you off the phone.

For the price you won't find a better deal. At $2,699 this is the most sharp and good looking OLED tv, period. Colors depth is impressive. Blacks are true blacks and whites are true whites. An excellent companion for your Xbox One X or PS4 Pro.

Glad I went with the OLED. The picture quality is incredible from any angle. When I got 4K stations thru DirecTV the picture is just a big fat WOW!. I love the LG WEB iOS its very easy to use and very intuitive. The smart remote is great, I have used the voice options on it a little and its cool but I am still on the fence whether its faster than just using the buttons. Mounting on the wall was a breeze and only my wife was needed to lift the set on the wall bracket since the TV is so light. You need to do a few extra steps to get the TV remote to control the volume on the SONOS sound bar but it works good once setup. The sound from the TV is very good so a sandbar isn't a necessary if you don't have one. For $2699 you cant beat the price at BestBuy.

2018 model Oled 65”Lg Oled tv...
It’s is incredible! I think it is the best tv out there! The colors are so vivid and real. It is like I am in the same room as the people on tv! I can even see the pores on the actors faces - it’s amazing!!! I highly recommend this. I did also buy the LG sound bar with atmos sound. It’s so intense when watching a movie! Btw when you go to the store or online the computer suggests bundling items- it saves you more money then buys separately! I saved an extra $400. I also took advantage of the 2 yrs no interest financing. Who needs to to the movies anymore! Just go for it! You deserve the best!

This is the best TV I've ever owned. Super picture, unbelievable blacks and superb clarity. We watched a 4K video from YouTube and that was incredible. There's no such thing as a future proof tv but I feel we have gotten as close as we can to having that with this tv. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

I recently replaced a Samsung 9500. While it was a good HDTV it didn't blow me away like this LG. The black level is phenomenal and the viewing angles are much improved from a curved TV. Watching sports and playing video games such a "Persona 5" make the TV really shine. If you check out www.wirecutter.com they do a professional review and rate it as the best picture they've ever reviewed.

Bought this OLED C7 about 2 months ago, and it is the best image I've ever seen. The processor is fast, you can switch between apps with no delays. I installed it on the wall using also the LG mount and it it very thin. Definetively the best TV in the market.

This is an excellent TV, deep blacks and stunning colors. Super slim too, but I’m just concern about the burn ins, so I didn’t let my kids play games with it. I also hope that OLEDs last long. Crossing my fingers.

Best tv in the house. Paired with a Sonos sound bar, subwoofer and Sonos1 for 5.1 all around sound. Everyone is happy and it has not let us down. It’s been Over 3 years now.
