I've waited a long time for this tv and it's finally here. It totally blows every other tv out of the water. The blacks and deep rich colors are amazing. The OS and smart remote is great!
There's no other tv that even comes close to the display of an LG oled tv. Nothing. Go on YouTube and look up OLED65E7 unboxing. You can see it there. 4K HDR blu-rays look out of this world.

This has been the greatest addition to our home theater. Tyhe vibrant color pulls you into the scene. It is simply put... amazing... had Best Buys installation team professionally hang it on the wall... I just can't believe we ever watched anything without it.

first, the design is gorgeous, the glass panels on either side and the sound bar at the bottom gives it a sleek look! Second, most importantly, the quality of the picture is simply astonishing! the blacks are inky, perfect, allowing for superb contrast and all the colors with HDR to come to life while watching 4k material on disc or streaming thru Netflix or You Tube etc...My first viewing experience was Planet Earth 2 with the picture mode set on vivid,a feast for the eyes! Third, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the upscaling...I sampled some older Blu ray and dvds from years ago and it was like watching them for the first time,a great uptick in image quality...Note: my tv is connected to an OPPO 203 and the combo is a killer! Lastly, the sound is funky, what I mean is that it is loud and clear when playing discs and streaming material, however when switching to Comcast the sound is weak and muffled and the sound level needs to be adjusted way higher...overall, great sound but not the greatest! A minor issue as I plan to add a more powerful sound bar.One more thing:the webOS 3.5 is well designed and so easy to navigate!
In conclusion, after doing extensive research and compare it to other models like the Sony AE1,I can wholeheartedly give this tv my highest recommendation!!!!!

The best TV I've ever had! Here's a quick rundown:
1.OS- The Operating system (WebOS) is ridiculously fast and fluent, no lag at all. A lot of apps to use to take advantage of the 4K.
2.Picture- The picture quality is amazing!! The TV does an amazing job at upscaling any picture quality below 4K. It also produces amazing black picture as the pixels can individually turn itself on and off, meaning there is no ghosting or halos on the TV at all as all standard LED TV's have that issue. But the picture quality is the best I have ever seen on a TV.
3. Sound- This TV produces amazing sound for a TV, it has perfect bass that you can actually feel and when it comes to hearing voices you can hear voices perfectly. The speakers are at the bottom of the TV and they are pointed directly at you. Most other TVs' speakers are pointed downward, but I am starting to see TV Manufacturers change speakers to point directly at you. These speakers can get pretty loud and hold sound perfectly.
4.Remote- This remote is really neat, it has a scroll wheel on it and also when you point the remote at the TV there is a pointer on the screen much like using a mouse on a computer, the pointer goes away after a few seconds when you don't use the remote, just think of the remote like a Nintendo Wii remote.

I had a sony 930D , upgraded to this tv, BEST TV ever. Deep blacks, perfect color, best upscaling when watching regular cable, and when watching 4k content you get the most prestine clear realistic image possible. The sound quality is great. The tv is expensive, but you get what you pay for. BEST CONTRAST EVER, and the smart interphase is super quick and runs smooth. Movie watching, sports, and Gaming look BEST on this tv, would no choose any other tv, this is by far the best looking tv ive seen and the best picture quality possible, reccomend to everyone, you will not be dissapointed .

So, before purchasing this TV I did extensive research. I had a price range of under $4k and a minimum screen size of 65 inches. After much going back and forth I narrowed my choices down to the LG 65” OLED or the Samsung 75” QLED. They were the same price at the time so it boiled down to size vs picture. Obviously the LG won out for me. This was largely based on the current OLED models getting almost no DOA ratings and for the most part no 1or 2 ratings. I was concern with a lot of the rhetoric around ghost images being burned in, but from my research that does not seem to happen much with the 2017 models.
In home, the picture is better than I imagined. Sometimes the stores calibrate, show special videos to show off the tv and then you get it home and you wonder if it is the same tv. Well, this tv is spectacular and the colors are amazing. I also better appreciate the hoopla over true black and the amazing contrast that creates. I was watching the movie “Pitch Black” with my grandson and the parts where the screen goes black...it is really black with no backlight seeping through or faint glow. In the low light shots the picture is just beautiful and awesome.
I bought the F5 model because based on my research the higher f models improve sound by adding some extra equipment, but the picture is the same. Since I also add a Denon 6400 amp with KEF speakers, I did not need nor want better sound from the tv.
I have looked over the tv very carefully with the white screen up and have found no dead pixels or remaining burned in ghost images.
I paid Best Buy to install the tv for me. I usually install it myself but thought I would let them do this on. They were great and very informative on any questions I had for them. It was well worth the money.
Overall, I can say this tv is by far the best tv I have ever had and believe I made the best choice for me, even though I wish it could have been a 75” screen, lol.

I originally purchased an OLED 65E7P from Best Buy who were selling it as a display model. The price was less than half of the retail so I figured it was a good price. However after having it less than 2 weeks I noticed it had a line in the middle of the picture which turned out to be burn in. I returned it in exchange for an OLED 65C7P. I should state that the Best Buy staff knew the set I originally bought had burn in but they figured no one would notice and if they did they'd simply exchange it. That is quite shady and unprofessional if you ask me knowing the set was faulty but failed to address it as such. Anyhow that fiasco aside the 65C7P is an outstanding television that shines regardless of what you are watching on it...from cable television to Blu-Ray to 4K content. I calibrated the set according to specifications on a website and adjusted it to dark room setting which is how I have my home theater set up. Once I did that things really came into focus. I was concerned how 1080 content would look but it really looks outstanding thanks to the perfect blacks. Cable T.V. looks sharp too...something I wasn't expecting. I had to buy an Ultra HD disc to test that in HDR mode and was suitably impressed. The web OS feature and remote took a little time to getting used to but now it's really user friendly. I'm impressed by the sheer amount of features the set has built into it. I could go on and on but this is worth every penny...just remember to avoid buying display models from Best Buy...always buy brand new and you'll never have to worry about shady practices.

This is my favorite TV of all the TV’s I have ever owned. It has THE BEST contrast and color volume. One of the biggest selling points for me though was the Magic Remote with the pointer feature. Only reason why I am upgrading it is because my Wife spent a 3 months watching Court shows constantly while working from home and I got (super slight but noticeable to me) image retention and I wanted a TV that has 2020 gaming features.
Also, TBF I got this as an open box as the was the display model. Other than that, there is no TV like this one. The picture is still AMAZING and this particular model has a Harmon Karden speaker attached. This TV is almost impossible to get at this point and I will def be sad to see this go as I exchange for the CX.
I would not be afraid of purchasing an OLED as long as it used as your special family TV where you watch varied content together. Also these are a lot of feature that help prevent Burn-In.

Simply stunning picture and pairs well with LG SJ9

The LG 65" E7P OLED comes with a sound bar built into it which does a well enough job for putting out Dolby Atmos audio. I wanted something a little more however and paired it with the LG SJ9 sound bar and now I have more volume and bass to go with this amazing picture. If you're able to bundle and save, I highly recommend at least trying it out first and then deciding if you want to keep the sound bar. Be sure when you're connecting the sound bar that you use a HDMI cable and the HDMI ARC port on the back of the TV. Finally, you won't see "Dolby Atmos" anymore when you're playing content on Netflix or the Dolby app on the TV, but if you hit Info on the sound bar remote you can verify you're getting the Dolby Atmos sound output. I got a little paranoid that I wasn't getting the full effect just because it wasn't displaying both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on the TV when I was using the SJ9 sound bar.

LG OLED tvs are the best ever. In addition to visually comparing the OLEDs with other 4K tvs, I did a lot of research: and LG is rated best by Consumer Reports, PC Magazine, CNET, Engadget, Digital Trends, Fortune, and others.. Perfect blacks, great colors, dynamic contrasts -- if you don't believe me, go see for yourself. After deciding on an LG OLED, I purchased the E7 for two reasons: The picture on glass design is exquisite. And the attached sound bar provides the best TV sound I have had heard outside of a home theater with separate speakers. Not inexpensive; but worth it to me, and I would do again. Of course 4K movies are great. But everything is improved and upscaled, including sports, news and cable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

An amazing tv. Not only is the picture beautiful, the sound is above average for a tv and the UI is very fast and user friendly.
The contrast is crazy. I've always owned plasma tv's and was hesitant to buy an LED until I saw the OLED tv's. The blacks are black and colors are vibrant. I just can't say enough about the picture.

Going on two months after purchase. Have used the set for standard TV viewing, 4K streaming content and 4K gaming on Xbox One X, PS Pro and Gaming PC. Super pleased with the accuracy of the picture and amazed at how the set renders black. Black is actually black; no light, no background bleed through, etc. I thought that my previous plasma set was a great reference monitor but this surpasses it by far. OLED on glass results in an unbelievably thin screen with virtually no bezel. On-board speakers' sound is satisfactory for most viewing scenarios. Optical digital sound outs allow you to connect to you own surround sound system as with most sets. It is an expensive purchase. I thought about it for quite awhile and did a slew of research and in-store viewing before pulling the trigger. Happy with my decision. I did invest in the extended 5 year Geek squad warranty simply because the technology is fairly new and there is no track record for long term reliability. Not a slam, just a personal decision to protect a rather sizable purchase. Happy shopping!

Through an unfortunate accident my 2016 E6 was smashed so I purchased the E7. The picture is even better than my previous model. Basically everything is the same otherwise besides a new sturdier stand and lack of 3D (which didn't make a difference to me). Smart functions are top notch. Smooth and fast. I highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market for a higher end TV. OLED is the best picture I've seen and this comes from a previous owner of a Pioneer Kuro plasma TV.

Oled tvs are becoming the standard. The picture quality is better than anything I have ever seen. I did a side by side with Samsung qled and sony top end led models and if doesn’t even come close. Perfect blacks plus HDR and picture on glass with a soundbar. Truly astonishing.

I just replaced my 65” Samsung 9800 top of the line 2016 model with an LG 65” E7 OLED. By far the best TV I have ever owned. Why you say? Awesome picture available, good built in sound bar, magic remote control, beautiful glass surround. All my neighbors are jealous.

I've spent a month with this TV so here goes. This TV will blow you away when you get it home and your guests in your house will notice the picture quality at first glance. I've paired this with an Oppo 4k blu ray player and you have never watched a movie until you watch 4k on this. I bought this on Labor day weekend and with all the discounts and givebacks for applying for a best buy credit card i paid the same price as the C7 and could not be happier. One word of caution though this TV does not sit well on its stand. You are going to want this on a wall mount.

The picture on glass is truly a remarkable and unique feature. The perfect blacks thanks to no backlight gives my tv the perfect-infinite contrast. The clarity from the tv speakers in the front really makes a big difference. I'm very happy with my purchase and will buy only LG in the future.

I wanted to upgrade from my Samsung plasma to 4K but did not see enough improvement in picture quality to make the investment until I looked at the LG E7 OLED. The picture quality is unbelievable and the glass screen shows no glare at all. I can watch TV with the blinds open to my balcony without any glare or reflection. Best Buy had a Labor Day sale and I bundled this with the LG SJ9 soundbar and UP970 4K UHD Blu-ray disc player and they work together perfectly. I normally buy last year's models but this time decided to go for one of the best and I don't regret it. With the Best Buy credit card I got 36 months with no interest so it was a no brainer for me. You will be happy with this amazing TV.

I agree with all the praise for this LG OLED TV. Mine was a replacement for a 65" LG OLED I purchased almost 2 years ago and it developed a panel problem--a thin grey vertical line through the screen. So my message to you is purchase the Geek Squad warranty. I know it is expensive, but they diagnosed the problem without sending anyone to my house my looking at an iPhone photo of the screen I emailed them and then replaced the tv with a more current model. Without this warranty I would be out even more money. The new set needs to have the energy saver turned OFF or the screen is too muddy and dim. Otherwise it is dazzling.

Purchased the LG 65E7P OLED about 1 month ago. The styling (very thin, like a sheet of glass) is great. Due to the screen slimness, we were concerned about hanging it on the wall ourselves, but ultimately, hanging it was not a problem. The picture is the best we have ever had. The blacks are very black and the colors vibrant. The attached sound bar provides clarity such that closed caption is not necessary for us (we have to use a sound bar and closed caption for our other Smart TV). Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase.
