    Amazing Soundbar

I have owned the LG SL10RG sound bar for 2 weeks and I love the sound quality for movies and music. I paired it with an LG 75” NanoCell TV and using the integrated apps with an HDMI ARC connection allows me to hear movie theater quality with the Dolby Vision Dolby Atmos combo. You really feel immersed in everything you listen to and it is loud enough that you don’t have to go turn the volume all the way up. Even if I am watching movies or shows with non-4K quality the sound is still far superior to any of the other brands I have heard. I wanted this sound bar so I could adjust the center speakers for heavy dialogue scenes but it is perfectly balanced right out of the box. The Google Assistant is a nice added touch especially for those of us who don’t own a Google Home. I can adjust the volume, switch inputs, and control other smart devices without a remote. Pairing to a Bluetooth device is easy and it will automatically connect to your device each time the input is used. Music is crisp with lots of mids and bass, you can fill up the whole house with music and control it all on your phone.

I received my LG soundbar on 11/27 and the first thing I noticed was how long the sound bar is. Everything is light and set up was fairly easy. The wires that come with it for the rear speakers are pretty long and I installed them in the corners of my living room slightly behind my couch. I played several blu-ray videos with these speakers and was pleasantly surprised at the crispness of the sounds. I can hear the various surround sounds from the videos I played. It really is 7.1.2 channels!! Great sound effects from the rear! We played several hifi songs with these speakers and it genrally just uses the soundbar (not the rear speakers). In a quiet room, the music sounds very good. It's a long sound bar so the sound seems to travel across the width of the room rather than from one speaker. I've never played music from a soundbar before and it sounds very intersting. I had installed the Google Home Assistant to use the voice commands. I also tried casting music via wifi from my cell phone to the speakers and after some testing, think connecting my cell via bluetooth to the speakers yielded better sound. Overall, I am impressed by this soundbar and rear speakers. It packs a punch. The rear speakers are so small that they don't take up much room at all and doesn't get in the way of your home decor.

The soundbar has a lot of features, easy to install, wireless surround and sub, but lacks in support. The speaker fades in and out rapidly at random times and also the sound increases during commercials almost 2x what it is set at. Although all components can have this issue, there should be some logic built in to prevent this from occurring. It is worse in the evening hours though which is weird. Support from LG is sparse. Their preferred method is chatting, but we always get the same response. What is the model, what is it doing, we will have a specialist contact you soon. At first, I waited about 5 days, to give the weekend time to pass, but since then it is every day I have to go through the same steps just to get the same answer. Finally, I called to get something done. it was about as worthless as the chat was. I really hate giving a bad review but we have had to go back to not using the soundbar. I will give another week for some response. I will update if I can get a remedy.

Unboxing this sound bar I was impressed at the build quality, it is heavy and solid. Using the provided wall mounts, templates,.and instructions, I had the bar mounted and wires ran inside the wall in no time. I paired this sound bar with an LG Television so the setup was a snap. An optical cable is included so you don't have to go searching for one.. Connect the cable, switch the sound output to optical on the TV and BAM! You are up and running. LG Television remotes work with the sound bar so you only need one remote to run everything! Very slick. Everything turns on together, off together, and the volume controls work as well. The sound bar was lots of power, it can easily fill the largest of rooms with big sound. There are several sound modes to choose from, pick which one fits your taste and programming. The sound bar has blue tooth functionality which is easy to use. You can blast music from your phone, listen to podcasts while you do housework, or tune in any other Bluetooth sound source you can think of. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this sound bar is the look. It looks good on your wall, thin and sleek. The brackets and wires are hidden so it looks like the sound bar is just stuck to the wall. It matches the look and size of large LG televisons perfectly. My wife liked the look too which was a plus! You can choose to run the included sub and satellites with the sound bar or not, all wireless so you don't have to run wires all over your house. I chose to use just the sound bar in our living room to see if we were happy with the sound it provided, and we are. We might add the sub later if we need more bass, but the bar alone provides plenty of crystal clear, high quality sound. I have included a picture of what the sound bar looks like wall mounted under an 86" LG TV for those who like me, are concerned with the appearance of mounting a sound bar to your wall. Overall this sound bar is a very capable, versatile, sound solution to up your home entertainment game without breaking the bank or hanging something ugly and obtrusive on your wall. Get one, you will love it!

The LG SL10RG Sound bar is amazing! The LG SL 10 RG has advanced technologies built-in for seamless home integration and great sound quality. I especially like the Google Home and chromecast integration that allows me to stream music to the sound bar. Having used LG sound bars before I really like the rear speakers that came with this SL10RG as they help fill in and surround you better with sound. Watching movies with family and friends is especially enjoyable. This Sound bar has transparent sound thanks to is built in sound processing. I went ahead and used HDMI eARC to connect the sound bar to my TV and now my TV remote can control the sound bar, turn it on, and turn it off. The sound quality when listing to Spotify is super crisp with great fidelity and good bass thanks to the high resolution 24bit/192kHz processing. I have a 65 inch TV and the wideth is a perfect match. The Meridian sound processing works well and really expands the sound stage when watching Netflix movies and shows as well as listening to music. I highly recommend the sound bar as it is a great purchase and for the price it's hard to beat the sound quality especially with the rear surround kit that is included. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Powerful and Immersive Soundbar System

The LG SL10RG is a powerful surround sound experience! The support for Dolby Atmos and DTS-X are what I really wanted in a sound bar, since I’m really into action and sci-fi movies. When watching movie scenes with planes or helicopters flying overhead, I actually heard the sound coming from above! What really shocked me was when watching a non-action drama show - it was raining during their scene and the sound of cracking thunder out of nowhere literally made me jump. That’s how powerful and realistic it sounded. This is also my first time owning rear speakers with a sound bar, and they of course make it a significantly better surround sound experience. Not to mention is sleek gunmetal design. It’s meant for a TV that’s at least 65”, because it’s pretty long, but designed beautifully to sit under the TV. It can also be mounted on the wall, but I prefer it on the TV stand. It’s also nice having the additional features of Google Assistant, multiple HDMI ports and even a USB port. For the 4K pass-through feature, you must connect your streaming device or blu-ray player directly to the sound bar. I have an adapter for my streaming device that allows me to use the USB port on the sound bar (or TV) as a power source. And it works flawlessly. So that’s one less power outlet needed and one less messy cord to worry about. Lastly, Bluetooth should be a standard for every new device these days, and this LG sound bar doesn’t disappoint. It’s very easy to connect with my phone or tablet, and the sound is superior. The sound and bass are so powerful, and it has a high volume range that would be more than enough to use as a sound system for a house party. Looking forward to using it for music at my house (condo)- warming party! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Amazing soundbar

Amazing encapsulating sound from the LG SL10RG soundbar. This soundbar is paired with our SK9500 65inch LG TV. First impression: I am very glad that we purchased this soundbar. The box is huge and was shipped on pallet. Once the unit was opened, we realized the size of the soundbar. The main soundbar is quite long -matching my 65” inch LG TV. There is a sub-woofer along with 2 side speakers. Initial Setup: Configuring the soundbar was quite simple. Simply connect the HDMI arc cable to the TV and it immediately starts working. Once the power to the subwoofer was connected it immediately paired with the soundbar. The wires provided were long enough to connect the 2 side speakers. They connected right away to the subwoofer as well. Sound: So, the question was after this impressive look and feel of this soundbar and the speakers how it actually performs. I have to say it surpassed my expectations. The sound that comes out of this soundbar is simply incredible. It’s feels like you are in a movie theater. Watching Netflix and Amazon shows with Dolby Atmos is simply amazing creating an entirely new experience. I love this LG SL10RG soundbar. Just get it and you will be quite impressed with its quality attention to detail and its immersive experience.

LG SL10RG Soundbar 7.1 CH Dolby ATMOS I got this to replace 7 yr. old Denon FS4 soundbar. All package was delivered without issues. Setting up: As dealing with new technology (ATMOs, ARC HDMI), it tools some learning time to properly understand to set up optimally. A provide manual was too basic, so, a detailed manual was found on the LG WEB site. I paired this with a Samsung RU8000 65” 4K TV, and found issues initially; auto power on/off & activating ATMOS. At the ends, connect HDMI2.0 cables to the media stream box (port1 and passthrough port 4 to TV port), and connected optical cable to the TV. Both HDMI/ARC and Optical cable, so, it does the auto power on/off correctly. A few un-sync issues, but Samsung TV corrected the problem itself with a day (not sure if it is AI function). Sound: Very immersive sound with movies, played a few ATMOS demo clips and several streaming contents (Apple TV, Prime TV, Hulu, and Showtime), all work great. Played music in various categories, they were clean and no hisses, slightly better than old Denon on the mid & high Frequencies, but a little lacking depth in bass. Operation: remote and operation are a little confusing as I can not control each CH sound level (still getting used to), but I could do with LG Wi-Fi app. I wish it could be more intuitive as it is a premium price tag. Operation: It provides ATC/STD/Music/MOVIE modes and BT/WIFI/USB/HDMI1 & 2/OPTICAL inputs. Easy to change and select each function with a provided remote. However, the real beauty is "fully automated", the user just needs to power on a TV, or, any streaming device, then the system takes care of all complex routings and selections. The same thing for the rear sound speakers and woofer, it automatically on/off seamlessly. No issues on connect sub-woofer and rear wireless speakers. Other note: It was sensitive to HDMI cables; you need to buy a high-end cable. Most people are using LG TVs, so it was difficult to find support for Samsung with this soundbar. It blocks a remote sensor on TV, I had to make bottom supporters by the 3D printer (shown in the picture). I which that LG provides a few bottom high adjustments, rear speaker mountings, and a pair of HDMI 2.0+ cables regarding this premium price. Conclusion: It is a high-end soundbar in the market, the sound is clean and fully showing off its power combining with new DTS/eDTS/ATMOS/Dolby Sound technologies. Sound quality is equal and better than under $2k-$3k home theater setup.

    Top Soundbar on the Market!!!

I have been using a number of soundbars for a while from name brands companies, so after using the LG SL10RG, I can tell hands down this is the top soundbar on the market. Starting with the features of the LG SL10RG, it 7.1.2 Channel with 710w of powers from total of three different speaker pieces and a subwoofer box. The system has immersive audio for Dolby Atoms and DTS: X. Combine that with 4K & HDR10 Pass-through ensures a full home theater experience. The SL10RG offers two HDMI ports, an optical in port, and Bluetooth 4.2. The of the best feature that I have enjoyed the most in the integration of Google Chromecast and Google Assistant. Which allows you to cast music wirelessly from your phone, tablet, or laptop to LG SL10RG. The set-up was quick and easy out of the box with connecting one HDMI ARC cable from the sound bar to the TV. You can also two other input connection into the soundbar. Now to the best part, the sound. Hands down the sound is amazing. Final thoughts, overall LG has done a great job for anyone looking for an all in one speaker system with the SL10RG. The immersive sounds are perfect this system with inclusion of Dolby Atmos, DTS: X and their partnership with Meridian Technology make the consumer the winner in the deal. The remote is simple to use for any user and not over complicated compare to over sounds system on the markets. Its clean and simple for any home. Its one of the best high-end soundbars on the market today and showcase the power with combining all of the great features in a compact design. I would recommend this product for any home. Lastly, I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Perfect Soundbar for your home theatre!

This well built, beautiful soundbar is paired with our 75" LG TV in our home theatre and the whole family is loving it so far! It came with the soundbar, 1 subwoofer, 2 rear speakers, wall mount bracket for the soundbar, optical cable, remote control and manual. I wish LG also included brackets for the rear speakers and an HDMI cable. Had to buy one separately. Install and setup was fairly easy because my husband is handy. If its your first time setting up a soundbar, I suggest you look up for video instruction or detailed instruction online because the manual is not helpful if you have zero idea on audio setups. Connecting the subwoofer and rear speakers to the soundbar was a breeze because it connects automatically once all speakers are powered up. You also have the option to connect manually if it didn't connect automatically and instruction on the manual was easy to understand. This also goes with the built in Google assistant. Just download the google assistant app, pair it with your phone and you can start saying, "hey google, turn up volume". Cool, right? This "wireless" sound system is not truly wireless though because the subwoofer has a power cord and the rear speakers should be connected to a receiver which also has a power cord. The small remote control works great but hard to navigate when all lights are off because it does not have a backlight. Keep in mind that this sound system setup works best with movies that are dolby atmos. I tried it with some movies that were dolby atmos compatible and we had so much fun! Love the immersive experience, balanced and rich sound. Overall, though not perfect for its price range, I am impressed with the quality of this soundbar and I highly recommend it.

As an audio enthusiast and professional, I commend LG of their good effort coming up this product. Targeting towards regular consumer, the SL-10RG certainly delivers something that is easy to use, highly versatile, and above all, capable of excellent sound production. The audio quality is balanced with excellent spatial image (even more so in the horizontal plane). The high is crisp, the mid is present but not overpowering and the low is natural without the artificiality that is seen in many other soundbar system. The whole range together appears organic, realistic without a noticeable gap in certain frequency band, which is not surprising given the collaboration with Meridian audio. The set up is very straight forward and rather intuitive. I timed myself for the whole process from opening the box until the completion of the rear speakers, which took merely 11 and half minutes. The integration of Google Home works really well and allow me to group other non-LG speakers with the LG system itself, which allows the possibility of expansion. The system itself delivers convincing theater experience. There are several preset to choose from, with the option ASC that would automatically choose what the system thinks is optimal. In addition to this, if one finds the presets are somehow insufficient, there is option to fine-tune different frequency bands as well as the amplitudes of speakers with various orientation. One might want to consider this to boost the vertical speakers to fit better the acoustics of the room, which I did in my cas as I have taller ceilings and the preset was a bit diffused. The general experience was immersive and really shines when the video/audio format allows Dolby Atmos decoding. The Chromecast/bluetooth also works well. Again the integration of google home makes the use of it quite intuitive. The signal transmission is stable with nearly non-existent delay.

Nice feature set. Bass is deep and clear. The directions state to put subwoofer up front by the screen, but I've moved it and it does not really matter. Sounds the same anywhere. The rear speakers connect by wire to an electronic box. The box is plugged into the wall outlet for power but connects wirelessly to the front speaker. The subwoofer connects wirelessly as well. All of this was very easy to setup. The soundbar can sit on a cabinet in front of the TV, or mount to the wall. Its the perfect size for a 65" LG TV, matching its width perfectly. The sounds is very good, very balanced, not tinny or boomy as some are. However I find the back speakers disappointing. They are far too quiet, almost inaudible, they do not add much at all to the overall volume or to the surround sound effect. I'm looking into this to see if there is a settings I can change to resolve or if I have an actual problem with the unit. If I can get the back speakers to contribute adequately, I'd give this five stars. You get a basic guide, but a more detailed user manual is available for download on LG's website. The basic user guide does not give you enough information to tune this or diagnose problems. Considering the cost of this system, a printed guide should be included in the box.

The LG SL10RG sound bar is definitely one to consider for anyone who truly loves an immersive experience in home theater. The first thing I'll tell you, is that if you are picking this item up at the store, take a truck or SUV. The box is enormous in relation to normal sound bar boxes. So much so that I could not fit the box in my 2013 Mustang. I should have taken my F150. Don't make that mistake! I had to unbox the soundbar and put everything in the car spread out, then fold the outer box in half and flatten it just for transport. After finally getting it home, setup was pretty easy. Plug it in, allow it to update (which it seems all new electronics need an update the first time you plug them in these days) and download the app. (which everything also seems these days to be done via bluetooth or wifi) For those of you who love voice assistants, you'll love it. Google assistant built in and is part of the initial setup. I did not use that as I'm not a fan of voice assistants. I was a little disappointed in the fact that the rear speakers are wired, given all the wifi and bluetooth abilities of the system. It's quite difficult to place rear speakers with wires unless you are remodeling your house. For the time being, I only hook up the rear speakers when watching a movie that I want full sound immersion. Ironically, the signal for the rear speakers is transmitted wirelessly to a control box that you then connect the wired speakers into. But the audio, oh man when you have this system turned up your neighbors 3 doors down will know it's movie night. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. I had an LG soundbar before, and it was anemic in comparison. I used The Fast and Furious movies as well as the movie Battleship to really tune it to perfection.....and this system absolutely rocks the house. Paired with my 75" LG TV, I have no need to go to the theater anymore as I have the ultimate theater experience in my own home now. Besides the wired rear speakers, my only gripe is the integration with the TV when turned on. Using the ARC, everything should come on together and be ready to go. For some reason, even with my previous LG soundar, the ARC feature just doesn't work properly. Even a TV specialist from LG couldn't figure it out. I have to change to HDMI 1 every time I turn the system on. Perhaps this can be remedied in a software update. Fix that, and remove the rear speaker wires, then this is a 5 star plus sound bar system. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. Update: I also have had some issues begin to surface with the subwoofer intermittently cutting out. It seems to occur when the system has been running for quite a while, but it has only happened 2 or 3 times in about a month ownership. (with two times on the same day) At this point i'm writing it off to being a fluke. If it continues then I'll reach out to LG about it.

Ok, I had been looking for a sound bar for more than 2 years. As one would have some of the options I wanted. If I was going to spend the money on a soundbar it had to be able to produce stunning sound and non-intrusive. It had to have passive controls or I would hear it constantly from the wife about "another remote." After looking at the options on the LG SL 10RG 7.1.2 Soundbar had these options and more. It had everything I wanted, rear speakers for surround, nice woofer for bass, and plenty of watts to drive all the speakers. I can stream Netflix or Amazon Prime and I still get the awesome sound of the movie theatre while streaming, Amazing, that was a surprise to me! TV is better, streaming is amazing and when playing DVD's it continues to be amazing. It all started with receiving the soundbar, the box was way larger than I expected. Packed very well and easy to unpack and connect. All speakers paired easily. The only snafu was trying to find the spot on my tv menu that switches on the ability to send the sound to external speakers, once I found that it boomed to life!! Connected the HDMI cable to the HDMI/ARC connection on the TV and plugged in the power cord. Everything just happens and connects effortlessly. The wife and kids love it, especially because the just turn on the TV and the sound bar automatically powers up and the sound comes through the soundbar without any extra remote or menu traipsing. I have already recommended this to many people at work and around my life. The theater in my living room sound is awesome and pairs well with my 75" Sony TV. I am contemplating hanging the TV on the wall and the soundbar came equipped with bars that attach to the back or your TV and hold the sound bar in place under your TV when you mount your TV. That was another awesome find. I am certainly glad I waited and got this soundbar. Nothing else I looked at over the last couple years could compete with the options on this sound bar, it has every option one could want and the ease of use is amazing. This sound bar continues to surprise us with sound quality, ease of use and options.

Nice deal getting the rear speakers Included. I did some atmos demo videos on YouTube and it was a neat experience. Have yet to watch an atmos movie but love how this compliments my new tv. The rear speakers at not truly wireless. There’s a hub that’s wireless and then actual wires run to the physical speakers. I have yet the need to turn it up very high but for my sized room it’s got some power

I work in the live and studio sound industry and always am very picky about the quality of audio I’m looking for in any speaker or PA syatem. LG with there partnership has made in my opinion one of the best sounding sound bar systems you can get. Most sound bars and system are never balanced just right, either to much top end and not enough low end or the mid frequencies are scooped out. This sound bar has the best balance across all frequencies that I’ve herd. The audio is rich and very spacious and clear with the mid frequencies very present but not over bearing. The sub is crossed over perfectly, it has the upper low end to give a nice chest punch from a gun shot or punch as well as the nice subsonic earthquake room shaking low end from an explosion. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outstanding home theater setup.
