Customers are impressed with the dryer's user-friendly design, quiet operation, and large capacity that can handle various loads. While some users appreciate its affordability, others have concerns about the sensor dry feature not completely drying clothes and the lack of a light inside the dryer.

New to the LG appliance family.
Pros: lots of space, pretty quiet, simple interface. Easy to install and ready to use.
Cons: wish it had a light. I would have given it 5 stars but the fact that there is no utility light threw me off. Def would have expected it to come standard.

with all the interaction between the phone calls, the texts, the emails for installation the guys showed up and couldn’t install the dryer first time around. ( they could not move the washing machine in order to install the new dryer )We ended up buying a washing machine they showed up installed washer /dryer..then yesterday there was an issue with moisture on the ground. Turns out that the dryer vent wasn’t installed so the hot air was just blowing into the back of the unit. the dryer Vet hose came out of the outside vet housing and was blowing on the ground behind the dryer

My new LG Gas Dryer is the perfect match for my LG washer. It is easy to use and quiet when in use. It dries my laundry well.

I was able to get this dryer same day when mine died in the middle of a load. Installation was easy and the dryer is beautiful! It’s so quiet and drys my clothes way faster than my old one. I love the buttons to start it and the little chime it sings when it’s done!

Nice and quiet. Large loads can be dried and the lint trap even picks up dog fur. Very happy with this choice

Dryer was easy to install and works well. Dries clothes extremely fast. Large capacity and simple to use. The dryer is also very light and be moved around easily. Really love this dryer. Hope it lasts many years to come.

Both washer and dryer are easy to use, and appear to get the clothes clean and dry efficiently. The washer is especially spacious for the two of us. Both are quiet.

After striking out trying to locate our original choice we decided to go for a much pricier dryer that had the same capacity. Once this dryer was installed we did the test dry and boy does it heat up fast! Once we put an actual full load of clothes in it we tested out the sensor dry(a feature that notoriously doesn’t work right) and it did it splendidly. We go through a lot of laundry here due to pets and kids and this dryer is definitely a keeper.

Great dryer, my 87 year old mom thinks it’s easy to use and she said it drys her cloths fast.

Sooooo huge! That thing can fit 1.5 loads of what I could put into it! Things can go in wet but once it's done... dry as a bone but ready for the next load. It's quiet too... it won't wake the wife or kids up. So you can take care of the dirty laundry without disturbing your family!

Love the dryer. Its quiet. I like no buzz it plays a tune. Also the feature of timed or setting for type of items being dried. Love the large space for dryer quilts.I was afraid it wouldn't compare to my last dryer, hope it lasts as long. 19 yrs

Big capacity, so even if I laundry clothes once a week, I'm still ok. I don't have to load multiple times because my dryer is able to handle tons clothes. I also like the sensor feature so I can run the cycle not based on time duration. The machine automatically stops when the clothes are dry and I appreciate that. The musical note towards the end to let me know that the cycle is done is something I enjoy. It reminds me of my stay in Japan, and the note is very similar to the one I had there.

Prior to this I had a very basic Whirlpool gas dryer that knew how to do one thing, get my clothes dry. That dryer met its demise after 20 years of service because a crayon melted in the drum. I now wish I put more effort into trying to clean that out than replace it with this dryer.
My drying needs are basic and I've had some good luck with a couple other LG appliances so I gave this dryer a shot. One thing that stood out is that this dryer has an Energy Star rating and would qualify for a nice rebate from my local utility. I should have researched how Energy Star dryers operate.
This dryer has a problem that seems to be common with other LG dryers. The normal setting will not completely dry clothes. The normal setting uses an energy saver setting, read the manual to learn how to disable the energy saver as this will reduce drying time and may even produce dry clothes. In timed mode this dryer takes longer to dry than my old one. What took 40 minutes in my old dryer now takes 60. My dryer exhaust is not clogged.
Do yourself a favor and read reviews for any dryer you are interested in and if you see complaints of damp clothes believe those reviews and look for something else.

Drys a Queen size thick blanket with no problem. Towels no problem. Jeans no problem. Delivery and installation was great. Was a little worried after reading the negative reviews. Now all the worries went away

After several months of using this, I've finally figured out what dryer settings to use. It's quite different from my old dryer, but is working well. The dryer vent is problematic, to say the least! As recommended, I clean the vent after each load, but it still has lint coming out from the filter into the dryer and the area around the filter. This is the reason I didn't give a 5-star rating. I would suggest the manufacturer take another look at improving this.
