Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the picture quality, magic remote, easy setup, price, and large screen of the 70" Class LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the great picture and sound, the convenience of the magic remote, and the ease of setting up the TV. Customers also find the price reasonable for the size and quality of the TV. On the downside, customers are negative about the limited number of HDMI inputs on the TV. Some users have expressed frustration with only having three HDMI inputs, which may not be enough for their needs.

Tv is great magic remote good takes a little time to learn how to navigate all the features. As for the free LG streaming channels great. Picture quality is great just set it for highest quality you shouldn't have any complaints. Just be mindfull some models dont come standard with magic remote. This one does. My only thing was the shopping experience would only buy from best buy as last choice after this.

I’m upgrading from an 60” inch TV, which was brought into my husband’s man cave. This TV can pretty much do it all. I’ve set up Alexa and Google Assistant on it and they work pretty well. I like the quick access buttons as well. I haven’t been able to really utilize the 4K aspect of it but the the software is notably faster on this TV than my 60”. And the picture is STILL GREAT. I don’t watch cable, just stuff like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

After 3 Samsung TV's screen failing, I switched to an LG last year. Pros: 70" for a great price and overall value! Initial set up was easy. Voice control on remote. Picture quality is good with multiple settings. A lot of "LG" channels from the internet (only works when your internet works). Remote has a mouse-type pointer function which is pretty nice in some situations. Remote is laid out pretty nice, but it has 2 non-programmable/dedicated buttons for Netflix and Prime (somehow I think that helps LG execs more than me). It could use 2 more HDMI inputs and possibly 1 more USB. Cons: Remote is rounded at the bottom (same issue as my Samsung). Channel menu doesn't stay populated after you close it. Every time you access it you have to wait until it re-loads (sometimes is says "No Information" even on local channels). Multiple steps to select channel in menu. Sound isn't the greatest. Probably because it's directed to behind the TV (mine sits on a TV stand away from wall). No function to adjust volume on commercials. Online channels and some movies with commercials have loud volumes. Remote doesn't have any back-light for primary buttons. Can't change the screen saver picture. CPU is slow. Scrolling up/down the channel menu is poor. It doesn't stay on the same time and bounces around to different times on the menu (ex. 2pm channels and it ends up on 3:30pm channels). No Google Home!

This LG 70UM 7370 is a Great value for the price. My only regret is it's on sale now, Nov/2019 for $100 less than I paid. If you have bigger budget up to $1000 or more there are numerous great TV's on sale right now, even the LG SM8600. But in this lower price range this is probably the best major name brand tv. At least half the time I use it as a computer monitor at 1080p. I think the picture is great for everything I've watched so far, football, PC games @ 1080p, bluray. I set picture to Game, max brightness and turned off all picture processing. The remote is like a mouse pointer wand. I like it. Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney+ and 5ghz wifi all work fine. So the upscaling seems to work great. I replaced a 65" high end plasma with this LG and it seems superior in every way except for very far left and right off center viewing. It has a ton of cool features that I don't use but that you might. The negatives are it only has 3 HDMI inputs and the 58 3/4" spacing on the legs, mine is on a 5ft wide table. If it didn't fit my table I would have spent more on tv that fit my stand instead of wasting money on a wall mount. There is no local dimming but I don't miss that. If you are in a super bright room with lots of glare this might not be bright enough for you. But more bright costs more money.

Wanted a quarantine upgrade and had an existing 55 inch LG that we really like so went with this one based on brand and low price. I’m a picky person and quickly found this TVs flaws. It does not handle motion very well at all which caused strange artifacts to pop up, low quality processor (cheap tv) and it’s other issue was bad horizontal banding (lines running across the screen on dark images). Bestbuy was great in the end we exchanged for a LG nano cell and finally landed on a 65 inch Sony X900. This tv is ok if you will be watching mostly regular tv shows. Or if you aren’t picky. If you are at all picky do yourself a favor and stay away. Mounting and unmounting a 70inch is a huuuge pain.

Only two HDMI inputs. Picture is good, remote is interesting, and I like that it shows the U-verse channel guide without having to go into the U-verse DVR. But, only two HDMI’s.

I purchased a 75" samsung TV and the HDMI inputs were bad and had to return it. When the local Best Buy didn't have any more they offered me this as it had the same price. The LG quality is 3x better than the Samsung. THe picture quality is much much better. THere are more values between the lights and the darks. The Samsung everything was kinda in the middle. THe LG says it has AI color correction and I believe that is what i'm seeing here. THe image is much sharper too. Also the sound is much better on the LG. the sound quality of the Samsung was so poor you had to get a soundbar to hear, which i did, but I got a 2.1 samsung sound bar and it really didn't improve things much. It was still difficult to understand spoken dialogue. ON the LG the sound is crisp and loud. No sound bar needed. Same room same acoustice same devices plugged in and there's a tremendous quality difference between the 2. I would recommend the LG over the Samsung. And Kudos to Best Buy for their excellent customer service in picking up the returned TV and offering the return/exchange to me even though the original tv was no longer available. I would definitely buy from Best Buy again knowing they will support and honor customers and their sales.

We wanted to maximize the viewing space in our Entertainment Center, so the 70-inch choices were limited. The LG fit perfectly and has an excellent pictures and abundant features. I like the ease of the magic wand remote and one-touch access to Netflix and Prime. We have use the screen mirroring feature a lot (for church streaming and Zoom video calls) during the shelter-in-place. The local Best Buy delivered the TV to our doorstep for free. Seamless customer service has been appreciated!

70" Smart Tv works great --especially like the Magic remote- much easier to use over other remotes. Everything moves quickly, no waiting when ever you push any of the buttons - the magic Arrow (pointer)thing really works as stated. I have the a cable box but I an able to use just the Magic Remote to run everything. Everything was easy to set up. Only thing I didn't like is when I ask for info about a show or movie I don't get as much info as i did when I used to just use the cable box on the old TV. other than that I am very satisfied. Best Buy also matched the on line price at DELL Great price, thank you Dell

Nice sharp picture and good colors. The sound on this tv is very good. The Magic Remote is a step up from your basic tv remote. I can easily access Netflix, You Tube TV, You Tube, Amazon, etc. You also get free LG channels which is nice. Great price for a really nice 70" 4k tv. Very pleased.

Love my new 70 inch LG. Replaced my 55 vizio. Getting use to the new remote features. Picture is amazing compared to the one it replaced This one is mounted on the wall ...so much more room and I wish I had done this to my previous tv. So far I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The magic remote is awesome, it has a great app store. i even found the xfinity beta app available. Its better then their own junk DVR. UHD is nothing until you experience it in HRD. When you see the HDR logo pop up in the top right corner before a show starts you actually get goose bumps. wifi is strong. i have this 70" monster on a rocketfish fully movable wall mount and its all simply glorious..no more do i have to try to stick my hand behind the tv to adjust a cable. i just pull the WHOLE darn thing out like 18-20 inches.. glorious...

For a TV that is not an OLED the TV is of great value. I use it in my living room which gets a lot of natural light and the image quality doesn't get washed out by all of the light. The deal-breaker for me was the Magic Remote. My wife especially likes the functionality of it because it helps her scroll through Netflix so much easier than having to click through each section. Now she can just scroll through it. I like it because I can use it to control my soundbar, my cable box and PS4.
