I was holding out for an 80 inch set, but when I saw the LG 75 inch, I had to have it! It’s a great tv and the size is perfect. The 4K picture is perfect. Words can’t describe how clear the set is. If this set lasts as long as my other LG TVs, which are still going strong, I’ll have zero complaints! Buy this tv, you won’t regret it!

I did my research online before choosing this TV. And the only TV that has the same specs and quality is a $4000 Sony TV. This was a little over half of that. It is great for anything, whether you're playing Video Games new and old, watching movies, or even just watching Cable Television, I am so happy I went with this 75 inch TV!!! My wife loves it too, it has really enhanced our living room. And it is very stable at over 110 lbs. I can't wait to have more friends over for movie or game night!

I bought this for a business that replaced a projector TV. So far this has been an incredible product. Picture quality and refresh rate are great for ball games.

For the most part, I am very happy with this TV. The picture quality from all different types of source material (both UHD and non-UHD) is excellent—spectacular in most instances. In all of my searching around for a 4K TV, I insisted on the following: at least a 75” panel, full-array back lit, local dimming adjustment, a native refresh rate of at least 120 Hz, scalable up to 240 Hz for troublesome movies, a generous amount of apps, programs, and features, and of course HDR. LG is one of the very few 4K TV brands that support HDR with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. From my perspective, this TV has it all.
Needless to say, with any TV you buy, you will need to tweak and customize settings to get the very best picture. From my experiences over the years, the factory settings never quite do the trick. Using this TV with my Marantz A/V audio/video processor via the ARC HDMI input is a snap. Even though I use my A/V system for the very best audio, I was quite surprised on how good the sound quality is just using the internal speakers—the very best I have heard on any brand name TV.
There are quite a lot of pre-installed apps, but you can get tons more stuff from the LG App Store, a lot of which are free. The TV also supports 5G Wi-Fi Networking, so video streaming is flawless. If you have a good desktop computer with a high-quality video card and generous power supply (between 500-750 watts) you can hook it up to one of the extra HDMI ports and it will handle this size display with no problem. Windows 10 has never looked this good.
Although the Magic Remote is very nice, this year’s model has taken a slight step back in one aspect. In years past, the Magic Remote was a true universal remote. You could control multiple devices from a pre-configured menu of installed devices. I am not sure why LG did this, but this year’s model (2017) allows you to set up and remotely control just 1 additional device—not multiple ones. It is not really a big deal as the Magic Remote has tremendous functionality.
Despite this issue, I couldn’t be happier with this TV. It is performing beyond what I expected. Friends and relatives who have been over to see it leave my house awe-stricken!

I had my heart set to buy a 75" Sony 930E LED, until the kind sales professional encouraged me to compare and learn for myself what this LG TV is all about. I am endlessly thankful he did so, because, this TV is just so way better than the Sony in absolutely all aspects starting with the webOS operating system (Sony standardized on android, which lacks a lot of features, such as Internet TV) that makes navigating through the various panel fun and exciting with the mouse cursor that moves with the movement of the TV remote, wow!
The 4K HDR picture quality is stunning and looks awesome in my very bright family room, and then, wow, Dolby Atmos via built-in speakers that actually sound great!
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I have the TV connected to my Denon X6300H AVR via HDMI using the ARC (audio return channel) feature to get the audio signal back to the AVR when watching live TV without an additional cable (such as optical). Everything works flawlessly fine. Very highly recommend this 4K HDR LED TV. No need to go OLED when you have this one.

Overall, the TV is amazing and huge!! Easy to setup and the magic remote is awesome.
I did have to tweak the picture a bit to change some of the default settings (i.e energy saver and lower the smoothing to remove soap opera effect.) However, after a few minutes to get the picture to how I like it, it's absolutely amazing.
4k video on Netflix and YouTube are out of this world realistic. The upscaling is awesome and the Integrated apps are great. Just wish they offered more apps like Showtime Anytime and HBO Go. Maybe with an update?
Would definitely recommend! Can't wait for football!!

I won't bother commenting on all the "bits/bytes" of the technical details - you can easily find those if you like. What I will comment on is the TV as a whole. I'm coming out of a 60" Plasma (for the past 8 years) as well as some smaller LCD. Her'es what I think, while the 'blacks' might not quite be to the standards of good plasma's, this TV is pretty darned good.
The "smart" functions are just perfect for me, I use Amazon and Netflix most of the time, so those dedicated buttons on the remote are great...though the remote isn't as good or as slick as Amazon's fire remote. Overall the remote is pretty good, though the whizbang auto motion sensor pointer functionality is just 'ok'.
Colors are great, Air TV HD is good, as is most streaming. I don't use the onboard speakers, but they seemed ok as well.
Overall I'm very happy with this TV for action as well as boring shows/programs!

Replaced an older 60” Samsung 3D TV with this TV.
Pros:
1- It’s in a darken narrow home theater so there are no ambient light issues and side views aren’t an issue due to the 15’ width, however side views are excellent.
2- I did not notice any improvement in the picture quality over the Samsung on non 4K broadcasts. The picture is incredible in 4K however. Steaming 4K on Netflix, Prime and Vudu is a HUGE improvement.
3- I watch a lot of golf and the motion refresh rate of 120/240 over the 60 of the Samsung makes a big difference.
4- The remote makes switching inputs and getting into apps and the browser really fast and easy. This took forever on my Samsung
5- The internal sound is pretty good for my size room. I already had a good Bose theater system so I use it but it’s not needed.
6- colors, including black are incredible in 4K
Cons:
1- Very heavy. Make sure you buy an oversized wall mount or a very sturdy cabinet.
2- Runs hot, puts off quite a bit of heat. Raises my theater temp 1-2 degrees.
3- My stand did not allow a level setup. There is a 1/2” drop l/r, Geek spent 1/2 hr on it but couldn’t fix it. Had to shim up one leg. We all agreed the base cabinet was level!
4- I’m an Apple guy and LG’s “Screen Share” only works with Android phones and Windows PCs. Means I’m still using my old Apple TV

There aren't a ton of new bells & whistles to differentiate this TV from the newest 2019 model equivalent. We've had it since November 2017 and it's simply gorgeous.
It's also impressive that the built-in audio sounds pretty good (we have a wall-mount, so it may sound different on a stand). We've used this for a 5.1 setup with both optical audio and more recently ARC and it's been easy to do.
Drawbacks are minor:
The "most comprehensive manual"(LG's words) is missing some important information, like a view of the back of the TV, and tech support seemed to struggle to answer my question about ARC (HINT: it doesn't match the LG website, the ARC is on HDMI 2), but the setup and use of this TV I have had zero complaints about.

I did a ton of research before deciding on the LG 75" tv. I have not been disappointed. The picture is incredible and I have no complaints. I chose this over the Samsung due to a slightly better viewing angle (based on reviews) and the layout of my room.
Setup was easy, but this tv (with the stand) is very heavy. So be prepared for that. I paired it with an LG soundbar and so far so good.
Still adjusting to the remote and playing with some of the audio settings. There are features that I have not tried out yet, just the basics so far and all is well.

This tv is amazing. The picture quality and the colors are crisp and beautiful. The quality is so good it takes adjustment because you feel like you are watching a program from a movie set. Easy to set up, and easy to program using the magic remote. Looking forward to football!

The LG 75” Super UHD’s nano technology is.same as Samsung’s Quantum dots and it produced amazing clear bright beautiful colors that were as good, or better due to the nitts of brightness, as an OLED. The blacks are very acceptable but will never match the OLED blacks, but with the Nano dot led panel I won’t get image retention the ruins the OLED panel and I can watch any channel and play any game without out screen concern and with a beautiful image! When you look at this TV in the store they set up right next to OLED and it looks very good but the settings on it are wrong and drive you to keep looking at OLED! But I listened to profdssional calibration settings and then ran OLED 4K examples on the SUHD nano and the colors were better and brighter and the blacks were very close! If the store had there floor model settings done correctly they would sell a lot more of these, but LG makes OLED also and everyone makes more money on those TV! I love this TV so much so that I bought a second one at the 55” size also! One addition is with a 4K input you have a very wide viewing angle without loss of picture quality or contrast! This 75” replaced a 70” Sharp that I gave my son, and it has impressed everyone who has watched it! Also the 40watt sound system is above the average for a flat panel! In summary you will not regret buying this LG nano technology it is superb!

Bf loves it. Pic is great quality, and sound is awesome. I’m not impressed with the weight. It’s a behemoth. I feel like these days they should be lighter. But man oh man is it nice to have on and watch your favorite tv of play your favorite game (God of war was epic on it)
