This is my first OLED TV after using a nice quality Sony Bravia LED for a few years. I didn't think the jump in quality would be extreme, but I was wrong. The C2 looks absolutely amazing. The OLED hype is real. My room is not light controlled and I was worried it might not be bright enough, but it is. Even crappy SDR content from my cable provider looks great and watching UHD discs or 4K streaming is incredible. The TV handles reflection far better than my Sony did. This is the best TV I've ever watched by miles. It's simply amazing!

This TV is without a doubt one of the best TVs out there, especially at this size and price. The picture is truly stunning and handles everything from gaming to movies to sports. The only thing I haven’t watched on it is network TV, so I can’t speak to how good that would look. But for everything else, this TV excels. It is an OLED so the blacks are true and inky, the contrast is infinite, and the colors really pop. The vibrancy is amazing but I tend to use Filmmaker Mode, which provides a more true-to-life picture while still being rich and punchy. Gaming performance is on another level. I play on PS5 and I love the Game Optimizer menu that comes up when you switch to the console. It shows you the current frame rate (up to 120 native), allows you to fine tune picture and motion settings, and gives you really great control over how the games you’re playing look. The only thing this TV doesn’t do well is sound, and that’s honestly just because no TV has very good speakers built in. Definitely get a soundbar or a component audio system if you’re picking this TV up. Using the built in speakers with this TV would doing yourself a disservice to be honest. A picture this good deserves great sound to complement it. I’m using the LG S80QY 3.1.3 soundbar and it is pretty solid, though you could definitely go nicer if you wanted. Overall this TV is incredible and I can’t recommend it highly enough. This kind of performance at this size and price point is insane and should not be understated.

Overall, very nice TV. Decided on an OLED over QLED and debated the LG C2 vs Sony A80K. I found the differences in picture quality negligible. I like the thinner bezel all around on the LG as that is actually noticable. The magic remote is a nice feature for searching content more quickly. The C2 was also on sale for $200 less than the A80K. WebOS is suitable; nothing special. If they were the same price, I likely would have went with Sony, but no regrets with this set. You won't be dissatisfied with either.

This is truly a masterpiece of a tv. I have both my Xbox X and PS5 plugged to it and it is perfect for gaming - colora arw vivid and the refresh rate is astonishing. My biggest concern was the brightness, that is known to not be ideal for OLEDs but the neo technologyin this tv makes it worth the price. Got the 77" for 2499 during black friday sale and after long research found it to be the best at this size. If youre looking for a larger screen OLED there's no other more cost efficient way than the C2 in my book.

This is by far the nicest TV I have ever purchased. The picture quality is very eye appealing with rich lush colors and really dark blacks that make images pop. Tv is easy to set up and has easy app installation. Loved how this sets up and syncs with my nvidia shield , soundbar , cable box and everything else I have connected. Hdmi 2.1 support, I hooked up my PS5 and it actually in my opinion makes the ps5 shine more. Enabling 120hz , has gsync and free sync tech for the PlayStation is nice. Has options for oled care for pixel refresher with addition of extra tech. Pricey but worth it if your a tv enthusiast. a great 4kTv all around gaming and movies

Waited a few weeks to review this TV to make sure i gave an honest review, so here it goes. I shopped and shopped and researched. Overall this is a incredible TV, my watching watching is from " Law and Order" on cable, to 4K movie watching on a 4K player to sports and some "Sponge Bob Square Pants" yes i said that. I have this TV in my man cave family room that is a darker room, while i have a Samsung LED TV upstairs in the living room which is a much brighter room. Compared to the Samsung, the LG's overall picture is true to color and natural. Of course the dark's are absolutely amazing but i was very surprised to see just how bright the picture is!! I even noticed that in the store between the Sony, Sony didn't have the brightness in the store compared to the LG. As someone who is a fan of Samsung and the brightness of it, after watching all the same programing on the LG, the LG by far has the better picture. Where the Samsung is bright and sharp, the LG give you a more realistic picture that's true to form and immerses you to feel like you're in the movie and not just watching it. Again, i was surprised by that and while the upstairs probably should stay LED because of the brightness of the room, i truly feel the LG could do the job very well in the bright living room, but having it in the darker man cave, i now realize this was the right choice hands down. The only complaints i have are the set up and TV instructions, there is no support or black and white clear instructions on everything the TV can do. You get a very basic manual and that was a little discouraging, as good as this picture is i believe it can be even better if i understood everything, Best Buy offers NO help in that and the Geeks Squad package offered me NO help as well, Best Buy is probably not the place to buy this TV from. The Web function on the TV seems to work OK, i had some buffering on WIFI but i believe that was my internet, so i wired directly to it and the TV cruises along now. Gaming on this TV? My son hooked up his PlayStation and sorry Sony, but the LG again WINS! My kids basically drool to hook up to the LG and play and because the picture is so good, i enjoy watching them play, unless there is a game on. With how good this LG C2 is, i have to wonder what the top G series can do, but the C2 fits within my budget and honestly, it doesn't disappoint. So to wrap up, if you are looking for the best OLED TV for a good price point, this LG C2 is it and i believe i made the right choice. 4 stars ONLY because of the lack of instructions and support with this purchase.

The picture on this bad boy makes my old Sony 75" x900e look like a potato in comparison. True 1ms makes it feel like I'm cheating in FPS games. The lightweight composite fiber shell made it very easy for the lady and I to set up (Moving the old TV hurt her hands). The TV stand clears my Bose Soundbar 900 perfectly. This TV was made for the Xbox series X and PS5. I'm in love!

This tv is the biggest tv I could get for my wall. My wife thinks it's too big. I like how the remote syncs with my other devices. The picture is breathtaking at time when watching 4k movies on it. Overall very happy with my purchase. I hit the panel lottery with this one very clean. As for using my total tech membership worst experience ever it is a big waste of money if you can install it your self with buddy do it because they won't show up on the dates they tell you they will be there.

I purchased the 77 inch coming from a 2018 LG C8 as much as I loved my C8 the C2 is definitely an upgrade it is bright and I have not experienced any ABL while gaming or from watching movies and tv shows. I like how thin the bezels are compared to previous models. The picture on this is amazing the brightness is improved from older oled models and image clarity is top notch. Not to put Sony down I am not a brand loyaltist or anything but I did first purchase the 77 inch Sony A80k and I did not like it at all the screen Dims from ABL from watching anything even regular non hdr shows and sports on tv and was quite annoying and the image quality seemed kind of washed out it was not as good as the LG C2 which I was very shocked about. I returned the Sony for the lg. You will not be disappointed with the LG C2 it is an all around great TV.

LG OLED continues to set the standard

Bought this to become my new primary TV. Previously my living room TV was a 65" LG CX that I've had for 2 years now. It's been a great TV and I haven't had any issues with it, the CX was my first OLED TV and I knew I had to stick with LG. Now I have a 77" C2 in the living room and couldn't be happier. These TV's are phenomenal and once you go OLED you won't go back. Pairs nicely with an LG soundbar, also it's nice that it works with the LG ThinQ app, you can turn your phone into a full-blown controller and if you're using any other new LG products they can all be found in your ThinQ app. 2 small caveats with the TV: One, the out of the box screen settings aren't the best, I think my CX had better options out of the box but if you're savvy you can easily correct this or if you need help there's plenty of YouTube videos out there. So it's not really a big a deal. Secondly, I really appreciate the updated hardware and software; this TV runs really smooth and fast, but the home screen is a bit of a cluster with a lot going on. LG could fix this in the future with a software update, and I hope they do to de-clutter it. My CX by comparison has a very clean and simple home screen/menu. Overall, those are really my only 2 gripes and they're not a big deal. Everything else with the TV has been phenomenal. If you want best in the market then LG OLED is your best bet. Side note: The TV is surprisingly light, I would dare to say the 77" C2 feels a little lighter than my 65" CX just going off of switching them off the wall mount, so that's nice that LG cut the weight a little. Extra side note: I don't have any burn-in issues with my CX, I'm a pretty avid gamer, lots of hours played. I'm not worried any burn with the C2, just make sure you do the pixel refresher that's built into the TV.

I've owned this TV for about half a year now and this thing is great. I calibrated it a bit, but to be honest I'm just a little overzealous when it comes to those things. It was pretty good already out of the box with each setting. Gaming on it is amazing. PS5, my steam deck, hooking up my PC to it. I also have a PS4 and a switch and both work flawlessly. Tears of the kingdom plays incredibly. This thing is an absolute BEAST. My only complaint is that it uses the WebOS instead of Google, which makes casting to it just slightly more difficult from my Google powered phone. But I got it working after installing lg thinq app. You will not be disappointed with this TV. And if you are, I question whether you really know tvs at all.

Best picture on an OLED screen. It is amazing how much clearer the picture is over our last 65” LED curved screen. We went to Best Buy to purchase a QNED TV but it did not compare to the LG OLED that was on display. We spent $1,000 more for the 77” LG even with it on sale but it was definitely worth it.

Okay. I know there’s lots of people on here that are tv-philes that can break down the finite details of tv’s. I don’t know the finer details, however, I dug through countless reviews before spending this much on a tv. This is a big investment for me. This tv is without a doubt, the BEST tv I’ve ever owned. The picture is amazing. As for sound, I have a Sonos system, so I can’t speak to the tv speakers. If I had any complaint, it would just be that some of the menu functionality is meh. However, I never have to worry about it because I use an apple tv for my remote, so I rarely have to navigate the tv menu. I love this tv.

My previous TV was a premium 65” 4K edge-lit LED TV that set the bar for inky black LED displays. It took me two yrs to calibrate the settings to perfection. It had incredible resolution and plenty of punchy brights in HDR mode to the point that when it came time to replace, I was worried about starting the calibration process again and obtaining that pideal picture. After weeks of research I settled on the LG 77” C2. When it was delivered and mounted by the excellent Best Buy service I was blown away by the out of the box performance. There are several video modes that are very hood and acceptable without any further calibration but i settled on the Filmmaker mode and with some very minor tweaking have achieved a picture that is nothing short of amazing. Any concerns that an OLED TV wouldn’t be able to match my LED in terms of brightness and color accuracy was totally unfounded. The sound quality is very good for a flat screen though I still use a good soundbar. The menu system/interface isn’t as friendly for the casual user but there are a ton of YouTube videos to help you navigate the menus and offer calibration settings. All in all, an incredible TV at an exceptional value.

LOVE this tv so far! Great picture, amazing response time, and not a single issue so far. We have had this tv for about 2 months and wouldn't look back. Sound quality is also fantastic. The only downside is it is sooooo thin that when we move it may be very hard to transport due to its size and are terrified of breaking it, as it's thinner than my tiny pinky finger. Do be sure to get the protection plan!

This TV will make it hard to switch to any other, its OLED display rivals the brightness levels of many QLEDs while destroying them in color and deep black production. One recommendation I have if you want the full potential of the display, turn off all the brightness limiting features and OLED saving features. This MIGHT make it more prone to burn in, but the TV can look shockingly better and brighter with these turned off. Out of the box the display looks good but not amazing with those features turned on. One issue that I had (that isn't it's fault), for some reason the PS5 and Xbox Series X have very spotty CEC support, while my Switch and Apple TV work 100% of the time. I wish they would all work, but oh well, it's the price you pay for the latest and greatest.

I finally caved to getting an OLED when the early Black Friday deals dropped. I'm glad I did. This TV is fantastic, but I did experience a few difficulties viewing darker material that took some internet searching to resolve. Very dark scenes can be read by the TV as static, which makes the TV darken the image even more (screen saving feature). It does this when logos are detected too -- not just the logos (there's a user setting for dimming those) the whole image -- unless you disable these internal settings. Otherwise this is a top-notch television for movies and gaming. The screen response is so fast that it took some time to adjust. At first I thought it was doing some motion smoothing on action scenes, especially when the camera was moving, but it was just that I had gotten used to my old Vizio dropping frames. It took me a while to dial in the picture settings for SDR (figuring out where the contrast blows out in the source), but I finally got the pixel brightness and contrast right there. Dynamic tone mapping for HDR 10 works well when combined with my Panny's HDR optimizer. The only problem is you will never be able to go to a theater that doesn't have laser projection again. This TV blows away any non-premium offering.
