I am one of those people. I typically write reviews when I am deeply disappointed or abundantly satisfied. Right now its because of the latter. I was really expecting poor picture quality for such a big tv, guess I didn't realize or know how far long tech has come. This 4k TV is SHARP! Clean picture with amazing detail and vibrant colors along with clean shadowing. None of that hazy darkness you typically see on less satisfying TVs. The features, the applications and overall ease of use, coupled with the incredible 86" picture quality. This is a 10 out 10 all day. Even better, i went to check out and for some reason the price went from 1899 to 1599. I was on the edge when i was checking out, guess best buy knew that so they took off 300 for me lol. Great buy, hope it lasts and I don't get a dud or something, because i really think this is worth a 5 star review and i hope everyone who sees this reviews just buys this tv. I can't imagine getting much bigger or better quality in the 1500 to 2k range.

Amazing picture quality and an overall good value. And it is HUGE!! We had been told that we could lose some picture quality/clarity with a TV this size if we didn’t spend several thousand dollars, but we are super pleased. It looks so much bigger than it did in store. The only negative thing I have to say is that the sound is not good. However, we have 6 other 55” and up TV’s and they all have poor sound issues.

WOW!!!! This TV is incredible if you want a big screen for a good price. I watch a lot of anime as well and I was worried about the subtitles being pixelated on a 4K 86” tv and I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The screen is crystal clear. The box disassembles in a way that you don’t have to lift a huge tv like this up and out which was nice. Really easy to wall mount. A lot of the bad reviewers have never had to buy a budget tv and have the money to spend on $5000-$6000 flat screens. For $1500 before tax, you CAN NOT complain. I have absolutely NO regrets about this purchase and would buy it again 10x over. I Paired this with a 5 channel surround sound system to turn my living room into a literal theater and it’s so awesome. Even the orginal speaker on the TV was more than decent though. Also amazing for gaming with low latency(for a tv) and high refresh rate native 120HZ on input 3&4. I could not be more happy with my purchase.

I have had this tv for over a year now. Worth every penny!! No issues. Comes with local channels and every app under the sun. The picture quality and sound is AMAZING! Everyone who comes over offers to buy it right off my wall lol. I have 12ft ceilings and this tv is massive on the wall, looks great. Super slim and super sturdy on the tv mount. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TV & I PROMISE YOU WILL TOO!!

I bought this without looking at the picture and am relatively happy. Getting it home was a challenge but I managed to do it without damaging the TV. Highly recommend delivery vs store pick up but it's doable if you measure beforehand. This is replacing a lower level projector in a basement movie room with no ambient light. On to the TV itself... Pros: Detail is great Gaming is impressive (make sure you have picture mode set to gaming enhancement or you will have game lag) Colors are vibrant Lots of ports (side mounted, thankfully) WebOS is a pretty solid OS No fan noise (big plus coming from a projector) Solid viewing angles Lots of image calibration options HDMI arc is great Cons: Blacks look grey! There is no way to make blacks look black on this screen. This is a limitation with IPS displays. Some of the higher end IPS screens have local dinning to help with this but this TV doesn't. In a dark room like mine, the blacks always look grey. If you have a lot of ambient light maybe you won't notice this. I put an led strip behind the panel to add ambient light and I think this does help in a way. I have OLED screens on my phone, tablet and laptops so am used to blacks being black so it was a bit of a hard pill to swallow with this TV. Keep in mind OLED TV's at this size are almost 3k more expensive! I'm still getting used to this TV and it is growing on me. I initially had some buyers remorse when I realized blacks looked so washed out but I am getting used to it. As long as you realize this is a BUDGET TV you should enjoy it.

Nice big and filled the wall, great quality and excellent picture, easy to use and navigate. Family enjoy it and great movie night flat screen.

So far, it has been a life changing decision. 86!!??? Biggest TV as of date!! It's literally a theater in your home. The best part of the purchase was being able to see it in store in It's actual form and display before purchase. So you know exactly the quality you're buying. Cannot be more happier with the decision. The experience every time will make watching and enjoying TV feel at its highest elevation. Combine it with surround sound and make every moment exactly how it was designed. The excitement every time watching TV!!!! Its truly incredible.

So I replaced my 88" 720p Screen with this in my Media room and wow was it the right choice. Good color, webOS and remote has been easy to use. Great viewing angles and the picture quality has been a vast improvement over what I had. I played with it all weekend and glad I got the LG Soundbar to pair with it. Sound by itself using TV speakers is nothing special. Yes there may be better but for the size and price point this was too good not to pass up. Had it installed on 11/26/21

I spent a lot of time researching different TV’s in range of 80”. I do not regret going with LG. The picture is crystal clear and our family loves watching movies together in our home. Definitely best bang for our buck!

Just bought a house with a basement and I knew I wanted a really big TV. I loveeee this thing!! & i love the smart remote. Can’t wait to set up my surround sound and watch movies!

Bought this for our new house - and so far we're really impressed. The last tv we purchased was a 55" Vizio a few years ago, and I will say that this TV is such an improvement over that I always worry about how responsive the TV operating system is, and love how quick this LG responds. The TV loads super quick and apps launch super fast. I even have a sound bar that had so many issues staying connected to my last TV through ARC and it has had zero issues here. I would highly recommend this TV. Being able to play my PS5 and Xbox at up to 120FPS, which is great. The color and picture looks amazing.

TV is beautiful and huge! It is exactly what we wanted. Great sound, great picture and wow- the price was even better! I have only owned Samsung and Sony for the past 25-30 years so I was a bit unsure on LG. We took the chance and so happy we did! I bought a smaller one for my sons room too! I highly recommend this brand.

This large tv is a great deal for the money. I just dont see the difference in a 1000 dollar more expensive unit. Great picture quality. Good sound. Bright and crisp picture. BB installation was the highlight of the purchase. Those guys are pros !

My first tv came broken so I was a little bummed but it is a magnificent purchase ! They replaced it within 3 business days . You won’t regret getting this tv. I feel like I’m in the movie theater every time I turn my tv on (not often).

The TV is easy to use and just use a chrome cast device. Picture is good but would not recommend for someone obsessed about super quality, it’s not an OLED. Works with my Sonos arc. This tv was a replacement of my Sony TV 75 that just outright died. Use a sound bar, didn’t even test the regular volume.
