Well, the difference between the size and weight of this player versus the one I purchased six years ago is amazing. The LG player is light, compact, and easy as 1, 2, 3 to install. I haven't tried out some of the more advanced options like Netxflix, Hulu, etc. because my home set-up doesn't allow it, but I like both the picture and the ease of use of the LG. it has it all, easy setup and use for someone new to blu-ray and access to the move tech savvy options that someone more advanced would really enjoy. All-in-All, an excellent purchase I think.

Very happy with this player. The only odd thing is that the box was taped shut with bestbuy labeled tape and had an "inspected" sticker on it, but wasn't marked as an open box item. I assumed that maybe it had simply opened in shipping or something.... then when I got it home and hooked it up it started to play a movie right away. Turns out there was a copy of "The Amazing Spiderman" in the player! I guess I paid full price for a used player. Not worth the hassle of returning (it was also the only one in stock at the store) in my eyes as it works just fine, but that was VERY odd and I feel a little "tricked" on that purchase!!!

I bought this unit to replace an LG blu-ray player that wore out after 6 years. I went with LG because of automatic connection to my LG 3D TV; a very nice convenience. The player has been mostly issue free for me, with one exception. Once in a while the unit stops responding to the remote and to the front panel buttons, and needs to be hard reset by unplugging it and then plugging it back in. I've had the unit for about 4 months now, and needed to do this 2 or 3 times.

I bought this player to watch 3D movies. It does a fantastic job. When used with an LG smart TV, all you need to do is put the disk in the player the input on the TV switches to the blue ray player and if it is 3D automatically switches to the correct 3D mode. Also has built in streaming to premium services. Compact design fits just about anywhere. Simple hook up with an HDMI cable.

I bought this Blu Ray player mostly for the wifi and USB port. I watch movies that are on my computer. I can easily pull up the the folder on my computer via wifi and watch them. I also can transfer them to my thumb drive and plug it into the usb port that is right on the front of the player and watch them that way. The LG supports many different formats. Blu Ray player is also excellent.

Blu-Ray player was a very good price. My grands kids visit often, so I got the wifi built in. Easy to hook up to TV and start streaming netflix and Hulu.

Had a Blu Ray of a different brand and after only 2 years couldn't get the door open to play a disc, so went on Best Buy website to see what my options were and I read the reviews for this one and it had a lot of great reviews so I bought it online and ship to the store. Picked it up and have been very impressed with my purchase. Really love the Wi-Fi hook up and the picture it produces is awesome. Would recommend this Blu Ray to any one.

It plays discs just as it shoud. It's so small it fits under one side of my tv.The smart phone remote app is pretty neat too, but the app needs a pop up keyboard for passwords and searches. One can also put videos and music on a USB flash drive and play them through the blue ray player. I like how I can plug it directly into my router so I don't have to mess with yet another password. One thing I don't like about this device is the streaming sevices don't play well with my 3 MBS internet service. Netflix has to stop and buffer too much to be useful. On my Chromecast, however, Netflix works fine as do all my other streaming services I use through the Chromecast. I only use the blue ray player for playing discs.

My first 3D Blue Ray player. I did not actually realize what a difference a Blue Ray player would make. Watching Avatar with this player actually makes me feel like I am playing an Xbox game with all of the detail. And the 3D really pops out. Love it. Thanks LG and Best Buy.

The BD player was very simple to set up and works as expected. The only shortcoming is the amount of apps available for the hub. I have not connected with the LG App yet, so that may provide a boost in my expectations. Works well with the current LG TV I have. One remote for ease of use.

I purchased this LG wifi player so my daughter could watch her 3D movies, and we couldn't be happier. It gelled great with my LG 60" 3D T.V. that one remote is all I need, and the picture is great. I love the wifi ability to jump on the network at home.... we are very happy with LG.

I purchased this player to replace one that I had nothing but trouble with. I had the LG hooked up and playing with in ten minutes of removing it from the box. Connected to my wifi with NO trouble. Great picture with Blueray, DVD and VUDU. I would recommend any LG product.

I have had this for over a month now and it works great, and I mainly bought it for the small size and the 3D. It has a small footprint and I like that very much. It has a nice picture and the 3D picture is very good as well.....................

I love the size of the DVD player. It is compact and really can fit anywhere, but most importantly, I am able to watch all my movies whether 2D or 3d with not hassle.

I purchased this unit after doing extensive research. I wanted something that was easy to use had the MLB and Netflix app and could play blue ray and DVDs movies. this unit plays great quality picture.

Even old movies converted to DVD appear more vibrant than I've seen them in years. Easy menu, nice remote. Small enough to fit into any entertainment center, powerful enough to recommend to anyone.

Very easy to use . Play outstanding like the 3D and other features on it plus like when you can update it on the internet.

I didn't realize all the features this dvd player had. I was just hoping to stream Netflix from my lap top onto my flat screen for more comfortable viewing but the options for viewing are awesome.

Initially I was quite impressed with the Player. However, after only a couple of months, there was a problem getting he picture to show. The deck had to be reset and there were no instructions as to how this was to be accomplished inn the documents which accompanied the unit. I contacted LG and eventually was able to get the problem resolved. However, the problem with the black screen still occurs and I have to shut the unit down, unplug it and wait before re-plugging the unit and powering it up. So far, it has restarted and there is video. Picture quality is great and the, for the most part, connecting to the internet is consistent.
